You find 400 gold inside the chest alongside the longbow. The longbow itself has carvings of angels shooting demons and has glowing script in celestial tracing its way down the stave. 

Looking at where the beast once was, Carilius has a wry smile across his face, glancing at his new blade I think I’m going to like you

A gentle whisper caresses Carilius’ mind. Yes devil spawn, place your trust in me. I will never let you down unlike the mortals you travel with. 

Slightly taken back by the voice, Carilius moves the the sword away from himself, examining it before shrugging it off and placing it in its sheath

You set up camp using the remnants of the chest as kindling for a camp fire and take 8 hours to sleep and prayer for the next step of your journey 

Eoan uses some of the time around his meditation to catch more rats for his bag of temporary hp. The last of the first batch now gone.

Leo meditates and attuned to his new found weapon

Fully rested you gather your things and begin wading south along the river. After awhile you pass where you first entered and spot a pier jutting out from a tunnel. 
Looking inside the tunnel you see An ornate stone door embedded in the northwest wall is flanked by bas-reliefs of helmed dwarves, their faces chipped away by vandals. An inscription carved into the door’s molding has also been damaged, rendering it indecipherable.

A black gondola, its hull carved with leering eyes, is moored at the river’s edge and ferried by a black-robed tiefling skeleton clutching a 10-foot pole, which it uses to guide the boat.

Ho ferryman! Any idea what's behind that mysterious and inviting door? 

The skeleton turns towards you and shakes his head in a negative indication. It appears that while he understands you he is unable to speak himself

The carvings on the door have all been defaced but you find a key hole without much issue. Sig steps forwards with the keys you pilfered from the drow priestess. “No harm in trying right?” He says before turning the keys in the lock. With a groan the door opens and it opens into a chamber. 
A 4-foot-square block of stone has fallen from the ceiling of this hall and cracked in two on the floor. The block was released when someone stepped on a hidden pressure plate in the floor.

Leo surveys the inside of the chamber from the safety of the door

Eoan narrows his eyes thinking how to approach the situation and divides up a set of rations. He throws  them across the back wall of the room before emptying out his bag of rats toward the rations, in an attempt to make the rats scatter and run across the floor of the room.

Two of the rats disappear into the shadows while the remaining two bee line for the rations. No other traps are set off and you don’t see any others in the room. 

Leo steps lightly forwards into the room

Leo long jumps from one side of the room to the other, sliding between the shattered halves of the stone trap. He lands before the interior door and finds it unlocked.
