Wolfsong slowly makes his way in to the passage still on guard for any attacks. He stops at the door on the east wall and places his ear against the door then lightly knocks on the door waiting to hear if the voice he heard earlier was from behind this door.
Robwin has Wolfsong’s back and follows close behind. Lia is on his shoulder and between them they just keep a lookout for any danger, while Wolfsong takes the lead...

Wolfsong
As you make the short step into the hall to listen at the east door which is locked, you hear another call for help. It is coming from southeast of you. It seems more clearly from the door at the south end of the passage than from this door.
"This way," Wolfsong whispers to his companions as he directs them to the southern door. Once at the door Wolfsong again puts his ear to the door and gives it two quick knocks followed with a question, "Hello? Are you from Phandalin?"
Robwin continues to keep close behind Wolfsong. As the voices speak, from the other side of the door, Robwin tries to make sense of what’s being said.
He hears one thing that seems important and whispers to Wolfsong and the others, “The rebrand cloaks are some kind of protection? Keep yours tight around you!...”.
He then nods, ‘ready’, at Wolfsong, to signify that he’ll back him up if he heads onward through the door.
Three large stone sarcophagi stand within this dusty crypt, and propped up against each sarcophagus is a human skeleton clad in bits of rusty mail. False columns along the walls are carved in the image of spreading oak trees. The double doors in the southeast corner are sheathed in tarnished copper plate.
Twenty feet to your left (east) is a wooden door standing open, there are two additional skeletal figures standing over a body. The voices are from the room beyond the door and skeletons.
When you enter the room, all the skeletons turn to face you but do not engage.
"Well unexpected," Wolfsong comments as he lowers his handaxe seeing the skeletons not coming to attack, but he keeps on guard incase they become hostile. Wolfsong takes a few more steps into the room keeping as much distance as he can between himself and the skeletons while keeping his eyes on them watching to see if they follow his movements.
As Wolfsong enters with Robwin, Cinnaess and Rinn close behind, all immediately notice the skeletons shift to pay explicit attention to Cinnaess and Rinn who aren't waring Redbrand cloaks. They seem to identify a space of protection around the cloaks. Robwin, Rinn and Cinnaess understand based on the cries of warnings and the various connections Robwin has made, that the Skeltons are under strict controls. Wolfsong as his words indicate, doesn't fully understand the reason, but Robwin’s guidance on the cloaks has proven true.
"We are going to put down these constructs once we have the prisoners out, are we not?", Cinnaess asks quietly in Elvish. She has her bow in one hand and a spell in another.
Robwin whispers back in common, “I’m tempted to take them now while we have the element of surprise”. He looks from Cinnaess to Wolfsong and Rinn. “Any of you go for it, and I’ll back you up...”.
Cinnaess releases the spell, calling forth a being that appears at the southern end of this crypt. It resembles her in form waring sheer robes and wreathed in flames. (AC 11 HP 50).
She then fires an arrow at the nearest Skelton within the crypt, about fifteen feet south of her along the western wall. To Hit 23 (AC 13) Damage 19

"Hello! By the gods! Yes, yes, I'm from Phandalin!", the voice you heard yells out.
Another voice follows up, "Be careful! There are skeletons walking! "
"When she grabbed the Redbrand's cloak from him, the demons attacked him!", a third voice hollers.
"We're in a cage!", a fourth voice joins in.
"The lights have burned out! They always refill the lamps!", a fifth voice screams.
Robwin continues to keep close behind Wolfsong. As the voices speak, from the other side of the door, Robwin tries to make sense of what’s being said.

Wolfsong nods back to Robwin then slowly opens the door, handaxe ready in his other hand, and enters the room.

"Alright then," Wolfsong nods. "We take them out now."
Wolfsong draws his other handaxe then charges at the skeletons swinging both handaxes in quick succession.
