Robwin’s Abjuration spell (shield) refreshed his Arcane Ward by 2 points… which brought it up just enough to absorb all the acid damage. Robwin remains completely unscathed, just, (but his ward hp are all temporarily gone).
He flinches against the acid but is relieved when his magical ward takes the damage.
Just a reiteration, your arcane ward isn't temp hp, it's more a shield with its own hp, like a door or boat.
Also, thank you for checking in on this. Wizards are the fantasy world glass cannon. I understand the temptation for many to subconsciously make their ward invincible. I appreciate you tracking it.
((So I used the shield spell as a reaction, so all the ghasts’ attacks missed I think. Post #4299. So I don’t think I have to save from any of that. Is that correct?))
Robwin would need a CON save rolls at the start of his turn.
There are three Ghast, but you can only be poisoned once and you only need one success.
Ghast Stench.
Any creature that starts its turn within 5 feet of the ghast must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or be poisoned until the start of its next turn. On a successful saving throw, the creature is immune to the ghast's Stench for 24 hours.
((Awesome… thanks. I wasn’t griping. Just want to make sure I hadn’t missed anything important. So, 1x new Con save from Robwin at start of next turn needed for starting my turn in the stench. That sounds right. Cool. That’ll be incoming when I post. Thanks! And super-thanks for weaving this great game for us. You must have SO much going on to track!! Eek. Thanks! I’ll post my new turn shortly when I’m on a break))
Robwin breathes out more fire across the monsters attacking him…
((DC15 DEX save or take 10 (fire damage), half on save)).
If he has no more melee attackers now, he’ll move as far out of the way of the thing on the ceiling as possible, whilst moving as near to his friends as he can (without getting in anything’s threatened area). If any of the ones on him are still up, he’ll stay where he is.
I think I need to make that con save for the start of the above post… here it is…
Con save: 14
((Dont think I saw the post above resolved yet, but I think you were waiting on the con save to see if I fell to the stink first maybe…))
((I think that’s me now… con save and breathe fire / move. Let me know if I missed anything or if it’s back to me again :-)

New round 4291; Robwin's action/turn 4299
On a save the Ghasts and Ghouls would take 10 HP in fire. They are susceptible. That would kill them off.
The Gravid would not get an opportunity attack if you move.
As described (4303), you're all in a bit of a zigzag right now, but moving closer to either Yian or Rinn and Silenus would put you in range of one of the maurezhi.
(( You can definitely move, just describe about where you end up. ))
Silenus, while you're fighting with the maurezhi in front if you and Rinn behind it, you see Ydri jump on the other hard skinned Ghoulish creature attacking Yian and catch a glimpse of her collapse as the fiend tears into her.
Rinn and Robwin do not see the fall.
When Robwin turns to scrabble away from the burning collapsing corpses and Gravid clinging to the ceiling, he sees Yian down, the maurezhi next to her and the second Gravid on the ceiling angled above her.
Silenus grimaces at taking yet another bite from the maurezhi.
(Charisma down to 1).
He snarls with anger and sweeps his great axe out in a raising arc, letting the momentum of the blow carry the blade up and then down again in a strong slash to the maurezhi's shoulder.
Great Axe 1: Attack: 15 Damage: 16
Great Axe 2: Attack: 12 Damage: 16
Silenus, You wail on this monstrosity between you and Rinn, seeing it finally starting to really show signs weakening.

((OOC: not sure if this was ever finalised, but I think we have two NPC companions with us? One of whom can heal? I think we voted for bringing them both with us? Are they around and nearby? Do they see Yian go down?))
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Bolstered by the fact that the maurezhi is looking weaker and not aware that Yian has gone down, Rinn stabs at the maurezhi he's been attacking, steadily doing damage to it.

((And I think I’ve been using Arcane Ward correctly as a barrier and not temp hit points.
Also I think the Arcane Ward gets recharged a little when I use Abjuration spells like shield. I think I’ve been doing that correctly too.
let me know if I’ve still missed anything or need to save or roll etc.
Thanks)).

Correct. If your AC beat the attacks, your good.

Yeah.
@CarethWarder - Roll a d20 w/ Adv. DC 12 ... on a success, Yian is healed to 4 Electice's intercession
or pass, keeping the failed death save.
The two NPCs might be huddled in fear 😱 😨...

Rakdos Attack: 19 Damage: 10
Dagger Attack: 17 Damage: 3
Sneak Attack: 10
(( @SpieltJoos - Roll a DC 15 Constitution saving throw with Advantage for Rinn. ))
Rinn's Con Save: 20
Rinn feels an intense cold grip radiate from his Rakdos blade as it digs deep into the maurezhi's shoulder.
You take 4 necrotic damage.
The maurezhi begin husking into cinders and ash.
The Rakdos gains two souls.
