Yian does the same holding her bow in one hand with an arrow nocked on the string with Ydri padding along beside her if there is room, if not she makes sure he can go ahead.
Also as a note, she will look for a bat or some animal living down here.

As Ydri easily slithers around you, Yian, as you entered the eighteen inches (forty-six centimeters) deep black liquid, you notice, on the ceiling, encased in mineral deposits, various oozes and puddings... oh, what would be unleashed with just a tap...
Unlike other floors you've seen, this one has many columns in this larger hall. However, a similarly seems to be rooms along the west side, and a long wide middle corridor.
As Robwin follows into the liquid he feels it with his hand briefly and rubs it between his fingers and smells it.
((Aside from the other properties he’s deduced, does he get any feeling that the liquid is flammable? He’s hyper sensitive to worries like that since he has been practicing with fireballs… Or would the opposite be true (like regular water) that it would slow or hamper the spread of fire or even put it out?)).

Silenus holds his bullseye lantern up, looking around the large hall they've entered. As they pass entry ways to other rooms, he will shine light inside and take a look.
The moon elf twins, Shanyrria and Sudryl, point out, "There are Black Pudding encased in minerals on the ceiling. No doubt they know we are here. Watch for any cracks. Avoid hitting the ceiling."
"By Moonbow!", Shanyrria adds quietly in Aennamar, her people's Elven dialect, "I was going to run across the ceiling to avoid this potential cesspool."
You notice, Robwin, the moisture, liquid and mineral deposits are alkaline rich. This entire area would probably burn energetically above the surface of the water and is highly conductive, simple lightning spells here would have chaotic, deadly effects.
It's truly an alchemists dream to be able to harvest and utilize some of what you are starting to identify.
(( The twins notice this too, though no one has spoken of it yet. ))
Robwin mentions it, “Hmm… the chemicals here are highly volatile. They would spark and burn easily in the air, and any electricity would tear through this place… Could be useful, but also dangerous. Careful with your spells!!…”.
((What does he see? Is there an ooze (or oozes) up there? Do they look trapped and confined up there? How high up? Have they noticed us? Does it look like we need to sneak past, or engage with them?))
((also, what do we see around us and ahead? Is there an obvious path forward? Or other branching routes from here? Thanks))
As Robwin looks up... you can now make out what others have pointed out, encased in mineral deposits, various oozes and puddings. As they have said, the entities probably know you are here. Braking those housings now, while in the liquid muck below them would not be a good idea.
You are in a grand hall, similar to the others you have been on in this keep. However, this hall ceiling is supported or decorated with many columns. There are roughly twenty feet between each column and fifteen feet between the most external columns and the walls.
The western wall, farther north from the room you stepped out and down from, is another room. It has a heavy black door that is closed atop a set of stairs, mirroring the rise in front of the room you used to enter this hall.
Silenus and TT each have controlled light sources.
TT is riding on Eline's shoulders due to the depth of the liquid.
The party is currently in a bit of a cone shape from the room exited with Silenus the northwest point of the base and TT and Eline the southeast.
Rinn is midway between each of them, back up this formation toward the entry door.
The twins, Shanyrria & Sudryl, are separated each between Rinn and Silenus or TT/Eline respectively.
The rest are sprincked in this formation with Robwin closest to Silenus and Valindra making the rear point nearest the broken door. He's still standing on the steps.
“Should we move to those steps over there, and the door? And get out of this harsh liquid?…”, Robwin suggests in a quiet voice, one eye still on the trapped oozes…
(( Silenus with terrible perception seems on brand for the exuberant satyr. Perhaps he hears the ocean swirling behind the door as one would when putting their ear to a shell or cone.
What are Rinn, Robwin and Yian doing? ))

Silenus looks from the invisible chemicals hovering above the water to the black shadows on the ceiling.
"When we get out of this hall we should totally torch it," Silenus suggests. "Hard to build a rad new home with pudding in the basement."
Not making any sense of the rooms off to the sides, he lets the others investigate.
"We should be careful of the things in the minerals. I don't fancy being dissolved alive."
Yian says agreeing with the twins

"Door it is," Silenus says with enthusiasm at Robwin's suggestion.
He moves quickly through the alkaline liquid and up the stairs to the door. He then pauses to listen at the door for any sounds from the other side.
