During your day long trip to Phandalin, Rinn and Silenus notice some goblins covertly watching them once they get closer to the Triboar trail. Jasmine manages to warn everyone of a pit trap near the trail allowing the party to get around it.
Jasmine voices the opinion that we should stop and deal with the pit to prevent others troubles.
Olsihla disagrees, "If we must, we will let the authorities in this Phandalin know."
If the pit trap was near the goblins, Silenus would be happy to stop and have a chat with the goblins and let them know they should be trying to waylay travelers.
If not, Silenus would be inclined just to poke the trap with one of his javelin's to set it off and say that if someone can't see an open hole in the ground they probably can't be helped.

As he enters his excited rage, a bolt of light shoots out of Silenus’s chest and races straight at one of the goblins (DC 15 CON save or takes 2 radiant damage and is blinded for a turn).
Silenus then leaps up with enthusiasm and hacks away with his great axe at two other goblins.

Rinn will then start firing at the goblins to aid Silenus, focusing his first shot at either the goblin commander or one of the rushing goblins, whichever he is able to easily see.

Silenus waves a hand at the goblins.
”Hey, are you bandit dudes? It’s totally, like, not the day to be bandits.”
Silenus walks up to as close as he can get to them.
If they’re hostile he lets the excitement of the encounter get to him and his energy bubbles up (Bonus Action - Rage - 8 )
