A bit of the spark usually seen in Silenus goes quiet when he realizes they have no way to help their fallen friend. He’s quiet for a few moments before addressing the dwarves again.
”Are there more guards? We dealt with some more in a ravine out there. And do you know where the Black Spider is?”
Silenus looks over at the dead body of Nezzar. "Oh?"
He then proceeds to search the body, plus that of the other dead enemy, and search through the rest of the room for anything of interest. Once done, he'll help find wood to create the funeral pyre.
Rinn will help search the bodies for anything valuable, plus the area. Every now and then, his attention is drawn to the nine-foot-tall statue, especially its eyes, given they're large emeralds.
Silenus, you find a key, a potion of healing, and a spider staff on Nezzar's corpse.
He also has those poison blades.
(( Spider Staff info:
Staff, rare (requires attunement by a Bard, Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard)
The top of this magic quarterstaff is shaped like a spider. It deals an extra 1d6 poison damage on a hit when used to make a weapon attack.
Spells. The staff has 10 charges. While holding it, you can expend the requisite number of charges to cast one of the following spells from the staff: spider climb (1 charge) or web (2 charges; spell save DC 15).
The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dusk. If you expend the staff’s last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff crumbles to dust and is destroyed.
Silenus shows more interest in the key and the potion of healing then he does the spider staff.
"Nice spider, but looks way too magical for me, dude," Silenus says to Rinn. "Guess it could be a good bashing club. Oh, or we could like totally sell it, dude."
He sighs when he looks more closely at the potion and then to Olsihla's body.
"This would have been way helpful two minutes ago," Silenus says then he asks the rogue, "Do you need it, Rinn?"
Finally he turns back to the dwarves.
"You're brother's bringing a whole crew to come and rescue you and take control of the caves," Silenus said. "Should be here soon. But we should search around a little more, maybe find out what this gnarly key opens. See if any more of Black Spider's evil dudes are lurking around."
The key opens a set of doors you had run past when first entering this area.
Dusty draperies of red and gold adorn the walls of this room, which also contains a bed and brazier. A badly disheveled dwarf lies bound and unconscious on the cold stone floor.
The dwarf with you, Silenus, is shaken up. The dwarf on the floor looks exactly like him.
In the room near the bed is a black leather sack on a wooden end table. The sack contains 190 ep, 130 gp, 15 pp, nine small gemstones (10 gp each), and a dwarven ale mug made of hammered electrum (80 gp).
Jasmine in her own world of grief, carries Olsihla's corpse out to the area with the rift and the fire. She places the body on the fire, stacks wood and canvas upon it all and uses create bonfire to intensify the heat and productivity of the flame.
If easy enough to reach, Rinn will attempt to get the emerald eyes. He offers a poison dagger to Jasmine, and pockets the others for sale. He will then start carefully scouring the area, trying to find whatever it was that the "black spider" was trying to find.
Rinn, You find papers and maps strewn across a table beside the statue as you are up removing the eyes.
Upon inspection, you see Nezzar's objective is the Forge of Spells. It is an ancient artifact, an arcane fordge. He apparently believed the Forge was in this Wave Echo Cave system.
The maps and notes indicate where you are now this staging area and adjacent bed chamber are warded against the undead and slimes found within the cave.
You see he thought they were close, but had not yet mapped out the south east areas.
You all came directly up the farthest east his crew had been, to the smelter, then east, saw some closed rooms on the east wall and going farther south but you all had turned north and followed along the underground river's edge to that entrance on the far north east side of the rift outside these protected chambers.
If Nezzar's notes are correct, the Forge of Spells must be in one of those south eastern chambers.
(( Rinn has an Intelligence of 16 and passive investigation of 16; easy enough to glean those details from the notes and maps. ))
(( Jasmine accepts the poison dagger, the other seven are in you inventory. Silenus also has two from Nezzar's belongings.
Jasmine cremates the corpses unless anyone objects.
The cavern where the rift is has a high natural ceiling and flowing water, so there is little chance of smoke or carbon monoxide poisoning unless someone hung out long at the bottom of the rift during the burning. ))
Rinn would assist Jasmine in cremating the bodies. He would also pass on the information he gleaned from the papers to the rest of the group.
"Do we want to take a moment to rest and recover? While we cremate these bodies may be a good time?" He turns to the rescued dwarfs, "I'm sure you're very keen to leave, but it has been quite the journey for us to get here."

"Rockseeker, yes. We're not healers, no.", one dwarf says rubbing feeling back into his arms.

”Are there more guards? We dealt with some more in a ravine out there. And do you know where the Black Spider is?”
"I heard him talking when you burst in.", when free, he will point out the wizard Nezzar's corpse as "The black spider".
"There weren't any other drow with him? Hells, I hate them doppelgangers."
The other dwarf stays rather quiet.
"I know they were constantly fighting undead aggression.", he adds beginning to look for his gear.
(( What are you two doing? ))
Jasmine: "I am going to look for enough wood to build up a pyre from that small bonfire out in that larger chamber. They must have enough round here."
She strips Olsihla's body of gear, leaving only the leather pants, cotton tunic, and poncho like robe.
She starts searching around with her summon's aid for the materials she wants.
