(( With Silenus doing the majority of the work, Rinn is hoisted to the top of the chimney. What are you doing? The view is breathtaking. You know there is the ravine with the bridge to the south. Out here, you can hear the dragons breath and the screaming of a few remaining mercs. You are pretty certain there is solid rock to the north and northeast, but that will take you toward those ice spiders if they are out here. ))
"We can circle around north and try and keep away from those spiders. Maybe we can find a good vantage point to take on the dragon," Rinn points out a path to Silenus, then snaps his familiar out to circle above for a vantage point.
Silenus looks around the roof of the stronghold, looking for wherever the dragon might be calling home. If there looks to be a 'nest' of some sort, or a hole, or anything the dragon might have come out of, Silenus makes for that at top speed.
"Dragon dude might not expect anyone hiding out in its nest," Silenus says.
If there's no obvious 'nest', like Rinn, Silenus looks for a vantage point that might be up higher than the rest of the roof - somewhere someone could jump down onto the back of a dragon.
Rinn. Yeah, there seems to be a way. It's possible to make a way northeast, from your familiar's overhead vantage, you can make it out. You would likely end up needing to descend the peaks from that side then work your way back. You doubt Jasmine would wait that long, if the dragon doesn't already catch her.
"Looks like a long hike, dude," Silenus says. "Maybe we should check on Jasmine first."
(It sounded like to get up above we'd have to climb up another mountain and come down over top of the stronghold - was that correct? How long a journey does it look to be?)
(( You are on top of the mountain which is the top of the icespire peak stronghold. To get down without confronting the dragon, yes, you would need to get across the peaks and down the northeast side. You are currently on the southwest upper peaks having come out of a chimney. It will be a day at least to get out of the current danger of spiders, dragon, and weather. ))
((Okay. Don’t think Silenus is looking for away to escape - just a spot that can put them a bit higher up to be above the dragon when it returns to the roof - is there anything like that?)g

Reroll of Athletics with the offered help: 22
With Rinn's assistant, you're able to get to the top of the chimney. The mountain cliffs are jagged and have less ice then the inside of the hold.
(( Rinn DC 12 athletics to get up. ))
Silenus gets ready to pull up the rope with Rinn hanging on if his companion gets into any trouble on the climb.

Silenus watches Rinn slip on the ice a couple of times.
"Hang on to the rope and I'll pull you up," Silenus says.
Silenus begins pulling Rinn up. (( Silenus make an athletic check with advantage. DC 12 ))
