((Hi @DM - no I think all your maths looks right. Except, if you mean Lia’s passive score, I think having advantage adds another +5 to a passive checks, but I might be misremembering?? Don’t think it changes things here (DC19) but it would be useful to clarify for future. Thanks))
"Hmm, it seems we are the prey of a hunt," Wolfsong whispers low enough so that the others in the party can just barely hear him. "Two goblins to our south, four to our north, shall we turn this hunt on them?" A dark smile begins to form on Wolfsong's lips, after his failed hunt the other day he hopes this one will prove better.
If he’s anywhere near Wolfsong, when he whispers his warning, Robwin will respond with a slight frown and a small, quick nod of acknowledgement.
He keeps looking straight ahead, and quickens his pace naturally and only slightly to reach the front of the group, giving no sign that he’s aware of anyone around them.
At the same time he listens close to his surroundings. And he telepathically tells Lia the Owl, who’s sat on his shoulder, to keep her eyes peeled.
Lia slowly swivels her head this way and that to keep a good view of everything around them.
((Internal monologue:))
Robwin mentally kicks himself. His visions must have affected him more than he thought. Normally he would cast mage armor the moment he set out, but today that part of his routine must have slipped his mind. No bother... his armor wasn’t up when the dragon attacked, and he survived that (just). Anyway, goblins, are no dragon, he tells himself. Nevertheless his tutors would not have tolerated such a rookie mistake...
(( Robwin / @Grwobert -- I stand corrected. Yes, Keen sight gives advantage specifically on sight which is a +5 to passive perception for sight. Thanks! ))
Party: An update - I think Ikki - if flying - is the only one not currently aware of the goblins - they continue to follow from the sidelines in the brush and bushes - they haven't made any advances on you - none of them appear to have bow or crossbow from what Wolfsong and Blaire have seen so far.
(( About 80 ft north of the trail in small tree and shrub and about 40 ft south in the scrub brush.
Any closer and they would easily reveal themselves. In fact, given the season, they will have to stop following you soon for the next couple of hours before twilight if they don't want to reveal themselves.
You are coming up to a pinch in the trail where the south hills will put the scrub within 20 ft of the trail.
Then both sides of the trail widen open into grasslands putting the forest tree line about a quarter mile out.
Grasses and shrubs are still high in spring and summer, of course, but not now at the tail end of the melting.
You are in range of ranged weapons, but they don't appear to be so equipped. It seems like they would need to rush the party. if they wanted to engage or sneak up after dark
They clearly don't know you know they are there.))
Rinn nods, as he slowly takes his bow off his shoulder and plays with its string, ready to nock an arrow and let one loose if the goblins do show themselves.
Robwin mutters to Wolfsong, “hmmm... want to bring this to a head now?? We could always pretend to take a break, up where the thickets close in... look like we’ve dropped our guard?... draw them out maybe?..”....
Wolfsong chuckles lightly, "Here I thought you did not have the hunter's spirit, glad to be proven wrong. It is a good plan, once we get to where the thickets close in I will take the two to our south. The rest of you focus on those to the north, capture one if you can so we can, see what we can learn from it. Do any of you casters have a way to inform our flying friend of our plans?"
“Ha! And here I was thinking you were the ‘take no prisoners’ type!... Agreed.. I’ll spread the word... and I’ll try and message Ikki too....”, Robwin replies to Wolfsong.
He’ll pass on the message to the others as they approach the chokepoint in the thickets.
And will messageIkki too if he can pass the arcana check needed by the hat of wizardry...
He takes out a fine wire from his component pouch, and if it works (rolls below), he will telepathically tell Ikki: “Goblins in the woods. Don’t let on we know they’re there. Strike when we move on them. Up where the thicket closes in...”.
Eli puts in calmly, "I favor TT's sentiment of continuing on. Regardless of its cowardice, sneaking is not unlawful. Yet, Wolfsong's assumption that they would cause more harm to us or others later has merrit. If we stop though and they move on us, I would be hard pressed not to wipe them out."
“Don’t we have a job from town, to investigate the goblin ambushers? If we can take one alive now, I don’t think we should pass up on the opportunity”, Robwin says to Eli and Blaire and the others...
Robwin will take his lead from Wolfsong though. If Wolfsong moves against the southern goblins, Robwin will move against the northern ones as planned.
For now (as subtly as possible), he will cast mage armor on himself. Which also activated his Arcane Ward (+9hp).
TT with a very slight intake of breath "In all the excitement at the ranch I had forgotten about the goblins! I think we should take the opportunity as its given and try and clear this up."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Once the party gets to the area where the thicket is close to the road without any warning Wolfsong makes a beeline for the two goblins to the south igniting his bestial barbarian rage. Wolfsong takes his now transformed claws and rakes them across the chest of the first goblin he gets to.

Yes, Ikki is flying, so he is unaware.
TT says very quietly "Lets keep going it looks like the road opens ahead, they wont be able to keep hiding and will have to reveal themselves."
Rinn nods, as he slowly takes his bow off his shoulder and plays with its string, ready to nock an arrow and let one loose if the goblins do show themselves.
"They may give up this hunt soon, but could come back better prepared," Wolfsong warns. "We will need to be extra vigilant this night."
