Like TT, Robwin watches some of the party head off to take care of the wolves and goblins.
As Gralk moves off with Wolfsong and the others, Robwin feels the tug and pull on the magical weave she exudes depart too. At the same time he feels a tension he hadn’t realised he was holding in his shoulders relax too. ‘Intriguing’, he thinks to himself, before following the others into the Inn.
He takes in the sights and sounds of the Inn, and the smell of food and beer makes him instantly hungry. If Mrs. Stonehill Is taking down names, Robwin will introduce himself with a gracious bow, “Robwin Windrobe, apprentice wizard from the magical colleges in Neverwinter”.
Lia the owl is sat on Robwin’s shoulder and just ruffles her feathers, a little disgruntled she never gets a formal introduction.
"Ah. You're Robwin. You're on this writ as is TT. That must be you? Pleasure to meet you. And that means you're name is Sildar?"
"Oh. Yes. It is. Sildar Hallwinter at your service. I'm hoping you have a writ of credit from the Lords' Alliance that would afford me room and board. Also, have you heard from Iarno Albrek? He is an associate of mine in the alliance."
"Well, I haven't heard from master Albrek in quite a while. I'll check with Toblen, my husband."
She addresses TT and Robwin again, "Well, I will need to pull back one of those rooms for Mr. Hallwinter tonight. I’ll throw on a bath and meal for you two as an apology. I hope you don't mind."
“I have not had an opportunity to gather any leather it was something I hope to be able to purchase from you,” Wolfsong replies with a hint of embarrassment. “Adjustable would be best I hope to add to it in the future.”
Handing over the items Wolfsong thinks for a moment on Endure's question, “Bore through, I would like to keep in simple.”
Wolfsong then poses his own question, “Have you worked in the leather trade for long? Do you get a lot of work from the town?”
Wolfsong, Endure nods as she listens to your responses and questions. "I have worked in leather, taxidermy, jewelry, armor and enchantments for a long while. Phandalin has need of good leatherwork weather it's a farm hand getting a good set of gloves, tooling or adjusting an armor set from the Lionshield Coster or providing prepared materials for a piece of furniture. The more custom orders, like this are more rare. Though their was a time in Phandalin when an order for jewelry or enchantment was as common as an ask for a saddle."
"A trophy necklace though, I haven't had such a request this far south. If you don't know, you shouldn't display it in towns in this area, though it will be a clear status symbol among the Goblinkin, Daraktan, or Lycan in the area. And among the Illuskan, of course."
Then in Illuskan, Endure asks, "Are you moonborn?" ((A common term in Illuskan culture for natural Lycanthrops said to be guided and protected by Selûne.))
“Hmm, you are a woman of many talents it seems,” Wolfsong replies rather impressed by her collection of skills.
“I had not planned on wearing it around here, I have had a heated discussion with a city born ally. Our ideals do not always mesh well so I can understand how some others would feel about it.”
Wolfsong chuckles lightly at Endure's last question before answering in Illuskan, “No...well not a pure moonborn no, there are some elders of my tribe who are, but I am not. The blood of the moonborn does runs through my veins, watered down by human blood, I have learned to call on it though to give me some of the strength of a true moonborn but it does not last long.”
Wolfsong, Endure continuing in Illuskan, "Ah, well then, you are new to me in more ways than one. That is interesting."
"The necklace, including curing these items, setting them for stringing and the other materials, given the time needed to do it right and my current workload, will take me a tenday and run you five silver."
They pause for a moment and smile.
Their right eyebrow quirks up, "You have more to your party than the Goblinkin, wolves, Aarakocra and the redhead?"
Sarah watches Mrs. Stonehill up the stairs then turns to you. "The bathhouse is up and running. There are screens for privacy and raised creates, shelves and benches for your things."
She hands each of you, including Rinn, a wooden token about an inch and a half wide. (38.1 mm, like an old Morgan, United States silver dollar)
"That will get you a bath, small soap and a towel. The towel stays. There are other supplies available for coin. Services you work out with the staff."
"I wanted to tell you, the fellow, Weston, is doing well. He's working and staying over at Edermath Orchard. Doesn't come in here often."
"Well more to do before the crowd gets in."
She moves on to check on the existing customers and her other tasks.
Eli says, "Robwin, TT, If I could have one of those rooms I would gladly reimburse you. For now, I am going to use this token." He flips the token and catches it having taken off his gauntlets that are now hanging by his helmet on his belts.
Robwin smiles up at Eli, “Gosh I’m loosing track! How many of us are there? And how many rooms do we have, four? Plus one for Sildar.... ..Eli, I’ll share with you if you like? You want to hold onto the key, for now, so you can bathe, and dress, and sort yourself out?... .. I’ll just be down here in the common room, getting a drink or some food, if anyone else is interested”. He looks around for a medium-sized table, where any number of the party could gather, if anyone else is inclined to eat and drink as well.
Robwin laughs, “Ha!.. No we didn’t have our own baths. That would have been nice!.. No, some of the professors’ quarters might have done I guess...”.
”No, I just meant, after your bath you might want to - I don’t know - use the room, change, stow your gear... I can hold the key if you want me too.... I just could imagine you needing the room, and not having it. Either way I’ll be right here”.
He sits at a table, and looks up to catch the eye of one of the serving staff.
Robwin, Eli nods, "Ah. The room token isn't a key, Robwin. The door only locks from the inside for feeling safe when sleeping. That's why the Innkeeper has the master key. I'll be back."
Robwin says, “Ohh.....”, getting it, just as Eli leaves. ‘That’s clever’ , he mutters to himself, thinking it over after the paladin has gone. He’d had his own private room with a key in college for decades now. He’d stayed in a few Inns, in his time, and they all seemed to do something different!
He’s thinking about the room, and the lock, chuckling to himself, as the barmaid appears. ((what race/species does she appear to be?))
Robwin looks up, smiling to himself. “Ahah.. Elsa, well met. What do you recommend here? He’ll also look around to see if the others are joining him at the table.
(( Elsa is a slightly buxom human brunette with her hair braided back tightly. She's wearing a dirndl, a close-fitting bodice with a low neckline, a blouse worn under the bodice, a medium length skirt that falls nicely down from her hips and an apron. You've seen this outfit in Neverwinter only with a wide high-waisted skirt that runs much longer. ))
Elsa says, "We have a good local beer and an Ale from Neverwinter. We have a stout came in from Leilon. We have roasted vegetables, a rabbit stew, a pork roast, and a bean soup. We've some good cheese and some fresh bread. What's your pleasure?"
"That Stout is two silver a serving. We've a local hard cider from the Orchard that's five copper. The beer and Ale are a silver a mug. Most meals are a silver.", Elsa adds suddenly realizing she'd forgot about half her presentation.
Robwin watches Elsa go through her presentation, still mildly amused with himself. “Just a stout for me, for now... And whatever you’ll have”, he says with a smile. “Oh, and when my friends arrive, just make sure we’re all well looked after, will you? ...You can keep that...”, he says and slides a gold piece across the table towards her.

TT, Mrs. Stonehill nods, "Thank you very much for being understanding about this."
"Mr. Hallwinter, You have a meal, bath and room for tonight and we'll speak with Ms. Thornton in the morrow."
A quick sift through the room tokens and she hands him F.
"Much abliged, Mrs. Stonehill. You will find I am every bit my word.", Sildar replies and bows.
"Sarah! Oh, sorry dear. I didn't see you. These three, Sildar, TT and Robwin have one meal tonight and one bath."
"I will tell all three of you, that's one bowl one small loaf and one glass water. Anything extra will cost you."
While the words and phrasing seem harsh, her tone and facial expression are kind and welcoming.
"Now, I've a few items to deal with before the rush tonight. Perhaps we will speak later."
"Mike, Put out the no vacancies sign please."
With that she heads back up the stairs.
Wolfsong, Endure continuing in Illuskan, "Ah, well then, you are new to me in more ways than one. That is interesting."

Then with a slight hint of awe, "The colleges didn't have independent baths, did they?"
