Without so much of a word, Marblebeard fires off a shot towards the wererat standing next to Dark. The bolt pierces her shoulder causing her to squeal in pain.
Rita screeches, prepared to act. Though she’s not quite as quick as Mr. Dark.
Rita’s lips twitch into a snarl as she slowly backs away to put space between her and the men. “You hurt Rizzo!” Moving further into the corridor, she pivots and shouts, her voice carrying down the halls. “We’re being attacked!”

"Thine admission of guilt in thy attack on the miners has doomed thee to our vengeance!" says Auric, his scales glistening with cold as the orb in his hand begins to shine with a cold and judgmental frosty light.

Rizzo's legs shook, clearly affected by the golden dragonborns intimidation. Not to mention two of his men pressed meaningful attacks against her. The woman would twitch. She'd cough. Slowly, she'd raise a hand to wipe spittle from her mouth. Coughs and gasps for air turned into low chuckles. "Always so hasty." With another jerk of her head, Rizzo would look up. Her appearance would begin to shift to a rat-humanoid hybrid. "You should have listened to the Dark." Cold eyes lock on her attackers as she'd grab hold of the arrows in her shoulder. With jerky movements and a sickening sound, she'd pull them free of her tough hide. The clatter of them hitting the ground would echo through the silence of the cave.

(Auric's history check back in post #879. Apologies for the delay)
Wererats are cunning lycanthropes with sly, avaricious personalities. They are wiry and twitchy in humanoid form, with thin hair and darting eyes. In their humanoid and hybrid forms, wererats prefer light weapons and use ambush tactics rather than fighting as a pack. Although a wererat can deliver a nasty bite in its rat form, it favors that form for stealthy infiltration and escape rather than combat.
A wererat clan operates much like a thieves’ guild, with wererats transmitting their curse only to creatures they want to induct into the clan. Wererats that are accidentally cursed or break loose from the clan’s control are quickly hunted down and killed.
Wererat clans are found throughout urban civilization, often dwelling in cellars and catacombs. These creatures are common in the sewers beneath major cities, viewing those subterranean areas as their hunting grounds. Rats and giant rats are commonly found living among wererats.
One of the most ancient and feared of all curses, lycanthropy can transform the most civilized humanoid into a ravening beast. In its natural humanoid form, a creature cursed by lycanthropy appears as its normal self. Over time, however, many lycanthropes acquire features suggestive of their animal form. In that animal form, a lycanthrope resembles a powerful version of a normal animal. On close inspection, its eyes show a faint spark of unnatural intelligence and might glow red in the dark.
Evil lycanthropes hide among normal folk, emerging in animal form at night to spread terror and bloodshed, especially under a full moon. Good lycanthropes are reclusive and uncomfortable around other civilized creatures, often living alone in wilderness areas far from villages and towns

Having remained alert at Kaemgen's side, both wolves were like shadows. Trusting in his judgement they did not, and would not act, without firm direction from the man. They were quiet and still, for the most part.Their hair stood on end as the faintest, almost inaudible whimper that only he could hear, would come from them as their posture naturally shifted into a defensive one. Although they held themselves tall, McScathe could tell there was slight apprehension from the normally confident pair.

Scott is in a similar holding pattern to Kaemgen, If it is revealed that they’ve harmed the miners here then he’ll loose is arrow at one of them.
((are we sure they're not evil miners?))
“We invaded this mine, yes.” Rizzo admits. “They tried to defend their mine. Blood was shed.”
”Then they scattered like flees!” With a giggle Rita uses her hands and spreads her fingers, mimicking rushing off into the caves.
“Assume they’re gone or died of starvation.” Rizzo shrugs fairly casually, besides her twitch
