Brunella remembers the partys previous encounter with strange plant like things. She draws two torches and lights them, holding one in each hand, and falls back next to Jon. She then summons her rage, ready for the fight.
OOC: Not sure how many actions are needed to light the two torches, if she can only light and/or draw one she will do that.

When Gertrude sees the second plant releasing spores into the air, she knows it's bad... then, she suddenly feels an attraction she never knew existed. "Yes, Felix, I can see it now! It is so strange and beautiful. I have to go closer to seeit!"
Oniss sees the effects the plants are having on his companions and hoping to resolve it quickly casts Chromatic Orb on the closest plant with fire dmg, hoping to end it.

Feeling the hairs stand up on the back of his neck as the hum of magic stirs in the air, Irommek readies his hammer for battle as his continues to advance to the plant and unable to stop walking towards it.
Looking back over his shoulder, he says, “Oniss? Is that you? I can’t stop my feet from walking towards this plant and really feel like I need to touch it and hit it all at once, which is weird, but I have a feeling that it’s about to get even weirder…”
Musharib wants to try another approach. Everyone can hear him starting whistling, as he usually does when casting a charm.
A few moments later he steps forward and starts speaking... to the plants:" My dears, the beauty of your leaves is remarkable and the sun should be pleased to give you nourishment. Since that is the case, can we be friends? We desire to do no harm."
Musharib seems listens to the plants and after a while, he says:" It seems we are good to go. But maybe it is better not to disturb them in the future. "
OOC The party can resume the parrot searching with one more Survival check.
And the last parrot if found. The party has enough feathers to get past the second level of the ziggurat.
The steps from level 2 to level 3 (the level of the shrine) are 20 feet long and rise 12 feet. The stairs are in excellent condition, but swarms of poisonous snakes slither over them.
“Ooooh, pretty plant. I just want to touch it.”
Seeing Gertrude bear-hug Felix, gives Irommek pause.
“Hmmm, something aint right with these plants…”
