"Are you all okay?" he asks. "Does anyone need any help?"
From what he can tell, it does not appear that any of this companions were badly injured in the encounter. He looks to the dead manticores and the passage behind them. He steps around the manticores and moves forward to see what he next area holds.
Afamrail comes back to the second chest and eyes the lock and trap carefully. He pulls out his Thieve's Tools and lays them out in front of him and selects two thin tools and sets to work on the trap.
He pauses in his work and looks at Raine and the others.
"I am not yet certain of the nature of this trap. To be safe, you may want to take a step back in case this goes badly."
He then turns back to the trap and continues his work.

Afamrail smiles to himself. Disarming a trap or breaking a lock, even though such a small thing, does spark a a little wave of pride inside him.
"This looks like a dead end, maybe just a hidden treasure room. I would like to go back to the first passage we came down and see if there is anything else hidden there. That is the only space we have not checked since we came down the stairs," he says to the others.
He gestures at the chests.
"The traps are disarmed, but still, be careful opening them."
He pauses before heading back to the passage that had been blocked off by the first portcullis.
"If we don't find anything else down here, I suggest we go back upstairs and keep planning how to take out the leader and the others at the banquet. While exploring is all well and good, we ought to remember our main goal."
"There are quite a lot of coins in here, as well as some copper ingots, ivory tusks, and gems," Raine calls out to the group. "If no one is opposed, I could easily fit them all in my bag to avoid burdening you the weight and to save time. We can divide the coins among ourselves once we've left the stronghold, and perhaps attempt to sell the other items and split the profits."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Afamrail nods to Raine, in agreement.
He then heads to the passage that they didn't search (the one by the stairs, before the portcullis) and looks for panels, levers, doors that they may have missed when they first came down the stairs.

Tana shrugs. "That was intense. I'm fine."
Looking around at the manticores, he nods to Afamrail. "Might be worth seeing what the other lever does."
Afamrail continues into the passage past the manticores but turns his head to Tana.
”It raised the other portcullis that had blocked off the stairs we came down.”
Raine follows Afamrail into the passage, keeping the spiritual creatures surrounding her in case they come across more enemies.

Risha will follow close behind Afamrail, hoping that everyone heard her offer of healing. She holds her morningstar tight, anticipating another fight.
Inside the room is 7 chests.
"If the string linked to the portcullis earlier is a sign of cunning in these giant's leader, I would suspect these may be trapped in some way."
Afamrail first examines the room for any hidden panels or doors.

Raine kneels down, examining the chests for any traps.

"Afamrail, you want to come disarm these?" Raine calls over to him, pointing out the trapped chests. She opens the others to see what's inside.

You disable one of the traps, but you'll need another check for the other one.
