While they're opening the doors, Raine stands at the ready near the back of the group. She prepares the spell Sacred Flame in case they're attacked, tendrils of white fire forming around her hands.
Afamrail pulls out the sack with 300 GP inside and holds it up for the others to see. He shakes his head, not knowing what to make of these giants. Elaborate traps are set for copper and silver pieces, but they stick a large amount of gold in a boot.
"Do you have more room in that bag, Raine?" he asks as he tosses over the sack of coins to Raine.
He stands up and looks to the doorway and nods.
"Next room?"
He strides through this room, back into the prior one, and over to the other set of doors where they heard no noise.
Tana seems unsettled. For what they have gone through, it seems all the Giants have been at a feast of some sorts.
While the group is making their way through the establishment, he muses with himself for a moment, and shares his thoughts with the rest of the group. "At some point, the Giants will finish their meal and head back to their quarters. If they find the place ransacked, they may be on their guard for intruders. If they catch us in the open, it may not end well for us. Would it be worthwhile to set up a defensible position and attempt to take out as many Giants as possible in such a way to maximize our chance of survival?"
Afamrail turns from the door at Tana's words and thinks for a moment.
"It would be better if we could thin their numbers before dealing with the large group in the dining hall, but there may not be any elsewhere in here."
He pauses a moment longer.
"You saw orc slaves in the kitchen, did you not?" he asks Tana.
"I hold no goodwill towards orcs, but a slave, even an orc, is unlikely to hold their captors in high esteem. If we can liberate them, the chaos of their release might provide us the advantage we need."
He returns to the door they are at, ready to check this room out before moving on with whatever plan they come up with.
"Letting the wolves run loose inside might assist us as well."
"Plenty," Raine responds with a grin, catching the pouch and dropping it into her bag.
She listens to the others' plans.
"The wolves could work to our advantage, but I fear the giants might be able to turn them against us. I'd rather not risk additional enemies on the field. As for the slaves, I doubt they would turn down an offer of liberation. And, if we're lucky, we might convince a few of them to fight at our side."
"Unless anyone else has any other suggestions, let us find our way back to the kitchen and see what we can stir up there. Perhaps the other doorway out of the wolves enclosure will shorten our trip."
He then leaves this room and makes his way to the door that they entered in the next room from where the wolves were.
(OOC - I've lost complete track of my mental map - the wolf enclosure had the door they entered through when they came up from the dungeon, the door they entered this suite of rooms from, there were two more sets of double doors, which if I had to guess would be the doors to the outside that they found when they first went round the stronghold, and then there was one other door, wasn't there?)
There is three doors in the wolf room. The one you went through from the armory. Another you went to from the chiefs room. And three others, two of which are double doors.

There is not much of interest in this room.
Tana will move over and nod to Risha to open the next door.
Afamrail nocks an arrow in his bow and gets ready for the door to be opened.

This room is a lot like the room you were just in, but with more weapons and shields in the room, and a pair of boots in the corner of the room.
Afamrail examines the boots for anything unusual about them.
"It is beginning to feel like everyone is in the dining hall."
(Are there any doors in this room?)
no
(Anything unusual about the boots?)
In one of the boots is a sack of 300 GP.
Afamrail pulls out the sack with 300 GP inside and holds it up for the others to see. He shakes his head, not knowing what to make of these giants. Elaborate traps are set for copper and silver pieces, but they stick a large amount of gold in a boot.

When everyone is ready, he opens that door.

"Let us check this room then make our way back to the kitchen and see if we can recruit some allies," Afamrail says.
He then pushes the door open and looks inside.
This room has the same thing as the other room, except for boots.
Afamrail sighs and enters the room. He searches the room for anything unusual - examining the shields and weapons and the walls.
(Perception: 21 )
You don't see anything.
Afamrail turns back to the others.
