"We've got basic directions to the castle," said Darius. "We can head out as soon as everyone's ready."

"Whenever y'all are." Alton would say, stretching out a little as he munches on toast he swiped from somewhere.

"Well, I'm ready to go. Let me settle my bill, and let's be off - how sure are are we of the basic directions?"

Sooo, assuming we're starting to head off to the castle?

We all head off toward the castle.

After a walk through the woods, a clearing emerges showing a crumbling castle. The castle consists of seven crumbling towers of different  sizes and heights, but the upper stories are all in varying states of collapse. A short flight of stairs leads up to the terrance in front of the main entryway. Past the wreckage of a pair of sundered doors lies a shadowed hall. Round towers loom over the main entranceway, with dark arrow slits looking out down on the terrance.

"...Well, that ain't spooky at all." Alton would mutter as he looks up at the castle. "...Reckon it's at least got some dim lights in there? Maybe a vampire or two?" He looks around at the group.

Darius nodded. "We definitely need to be on guard," he said, "although hopefully enough light will be spilling in for us humans to not be totally blind."

He eyed the arrow slits, not for the first time. "Ten coppers says a goblin's waiting to shoot our eyes out from up there," he added with a grin as he drew his swords and crept up the stairs to the terrace.

(( Darius will try to be observant as he climbs the stairs, taking the Dodge action as he moves. ))

As Darius walks up the stairs, two arrow fire out of the slits.

Arrow 1: Attack: 15 Damage: 4 

Arrow 2 Attack: 6 Damage: 4

Darius laughed, more of an "of-course-you-would" scoff, as he dodged the arrows.

"One on the right is mine!" he growled loudly as he cotinued weaving his way up the stairs and across the terrace toward the base of the right tower.

Symon will cast a Firebolt into the slit on the right.

"Hey goblins! I don't suppose we can talk about this! We just want your prisoner back!" Alton would call out, debating making a break for the door... Deciding against it, he'd just run after Darius to try and stay behind him, trying to Dodge himself!
