FYI everyone else can act simultaneously while we wait for that to resolve.
antimagic field says "Within the sphere, spells can't be cast, summoned creatures disappear, and even magic items become mundane" so no magic within the sphere. Of course if you want to turn it off, just try. DC15 Arcana or Dex check with thieves' or tinkers tools.
Don't know if it is too late... But Omiy would have told everyone about the anti-magic field when she failed to across. Of course she wouldn't know it is an anti-magic field, she would just think it is some sort of invisible barrier.

I'm just trying to keep it interesting, since much of the party is on one side of a divide not doing much. Let's just roll with it.
Well, if we get to try and turn it off, then Arcana check 17. Additionally, not all costly components are consumed; a spell's description says if they are (such as Arcane Lock and Continual Flame), but Identify does not say that the component is consumed.
- it seems that note about the pearl is right. Nevertheless, there's not much I can say about the brain in the jar relating to magic. Kwalish kind of does a magi-mechanical thing, so it might be fair to call it a magical trap, but I think it's much better explained by the brain which happens if Huarache pushes the button, so with your consent, and knowing that there is no consequence - I'm just going to say you push the button - it mostly is a thing I made up to explain why it didn't just start calling out to you when you entered the building and rather had to be located as the module described.
A light appears within the jewel at the touch of Huarach'e's furry finger. The voice modulator begins to hiss. "At last, someone has arrived. When Kwalish fled, it seems he left something behind for me. I've been trapped in here for years. That miserable Whazzit absconded with my exoskeleton, piece by piece, using the parts to build a war machine of Kwalish's design and masquerading as me to rule over my monastery. But now, you can restore me to my former glory. In return, I will help you locate Kwalish. He left his final journal here when he fled. If the journal is removed from this area, has its wires cut, or is opened, the gears on the cover deactivate the treasury engine, and we will both die. But after years of study, I am confident that I can release it safely and keep the engine holding us aloft running. I have seen how you defeated that usurping quasit. Now, simply retrieve the machine he piloted and when my brain is back within my body, you can follow Kwalish."
Leann struggles to hold onto the rock, clinging desperately to the stone as gravel and dirt fall from the boulder as she tries to scramble up to the flat surface. after a few seconds of struggle, her grip gives way and she falls from the path. she seems serene and calm, assured that the favor of Torm rests upon her. observers from above can see the nearest shining object floating through the sky rushing toward Leann as she falls. Leann can be seen falling into the ring, which resembles a larger version of the rings taken from the grand master, and disappearing.
"First of all, slow down. That was a lot to process. Secondly, yes, I can build you an exoskeleton, I think. Thirdly, where is this journal? I won't open it or mess with it, but I'd like to know where it is so I don't trip while I'm near it."
"Leann!" Seeing Leann struggle and fell off the cliff, the anti-magic field deactivated, Omiy jumps on the floating disks again using her. She stops at the last disk and looks down to see where she fell, upon seeing the large teleportation ring below, she kneels down at the edge of the last disk and descend her echo down the cliff, following Leann.
You can temporarily transfer your consciousness to your echo. As an action, you can see through your echo’s eyes and hear through its ears. During this time, you are deafened and blinded. You can sustain this effect for up to 10 minutes, and you can end it at any time (requires no action). While your echo is being used in this way, it can be up to 1,000 feet away from you without being destroyed.
- this answer has not be established anywhere yet. (Edit: actually it says "hundreds of feet". Could that be fifty-two hundred? Maybe.) We know both the treasury rock and the monastery as a whole are floating well above the valley floor, which I said you can see. I pictured it as a Grand Canyon-like vista, so about a mile. The question of how thick the monastery is.. I'm thinking maybe 500-ish ft? The treasury boulder maybe 30ft. The platforms are 1 inch thick. I picture the ring as picking up LeAnn maybe 600ft below the platforms.
So, what is Omiy trying to do with the echo? Look into the ring without enteing it or enter the ring? The latter is much easier than the former, it will catch anything that falls, presumably including an echo,
Huarache would probably have heard all this happening, BTW, and I assume all other PCs would be aware as well.
To Huarache, the brain replies: "It's just over there, behind those scraps." Following a wire from the engine housing to the junk at the other side of the room, behind some disused metal bits, Huarach sees a journal like the one in Daoine Gloine, with gears on the cover, is set into a sturdy looking pedestal. The the wires thus connect the brain and the journal to the engine.
"Alright, good to know. I can start building that exoskeleton, but I have a question. I don't mean any disrespect, but how do I know that you aren't deceiving me to kill me or something? It's been a rough journey here."
Omiy's echo emerges from the ring in a dimly lit space, landing hard in a pile of straw.in the corner of the room. The space is long and narrow, arrow far end is the portal ring from which the echo emerged, resting on the floor ,leaning on the bars that divide the cell fromm the corridor beyond. Sunlight pours in from the portal and the morning sky can be seen through the ring.
Beyond the bars,, Omiys echo can see this area is lined with boxlike metal cells, all built of the same strange materials seen elsewhere in the monastery. Most of the cells are empty, but shouts and a sound of creatures hammering on locked doors are heard from a few.
"Alright, good to know. I can start building that exoskeleton, but I have a question. I don't mean any disrespect, but how do I know that you aren't deceiving me to kill me or something? It's been a rough journey here."
"How do you know I won't just cut the engine and kill you right now? Order. That is what keeps the world turning. I don't know if you've been around long enough to know it, but osyluth are the enforcers of the order in Baator. And this is not some birthright like the monarchies so common in your realms. We are promoted based on merit by demonstrating we have Learned to love and uphold the law, we are deemed fit to watch and make sure the ideals of law and evil are upheld by every member of the baatezu race. The transgressions of lesser devils, as my own Aide de camp Whazzit are thus pu ished on excruciating delight. Are you, then, cat-man, a friend of law and order or aligned with that chaotic usurper?" The brain replies.
As magical items are only suppressed while in the sphere, as soon as Leann falls out of it her boots would start working again. They only would not work inside the sphere itself. The magic is not dispelled, just suppressed. I assume this means she would not fall.
"First off, don't call me 'cat-man' again. Second, I would have guessed that you aren't cutting the engine because you're here, too. Thirdly, I'm aligned with what feels right to me, but that's just how ethics work, so that's not helpful to you, I don't think. You just said, though, that you uphold ideals of evil. Care to explain your definition of that?"

I thought you were on sabbatical. I was going to have Omiy* come across an unconscious LeAnn in the straw when you were ready to rejoin, or just start her up in that spot if the party had already moved on. If you'd rather stay out of the prison and on the cliffside, take it from there. I suppose this also brings up the point that you could just fly all the way around the sphere to the top and fall onto the roof of the treasury if you wanted to go that route.
(Wasn't planning on that sort of leave, just a break in posting now and then. I wanted you to know the reason for those breaks and not to keep the game waiting if I couldn't make a post for Leann.)
Leann wouldn't try to land on the roof, as she expects the field to come down through her friend's efforts.
>> LeAnn would potentially become aware of Huarache's success with deactivating the sntimagic field through trial and error or some other means, allowing her passage into the treasury.
>> to Huarache, the brain responds, "You know, evil: hate, lust, envy. Like that delightful feeling you get when a petulant underling is rightfully punished for their lawless treachery. And as for the engine, I've been keeping that up because I had hopes of taking back my place on the throne of the monastery. With the current turn of events, I might as well die on this plane and respawn in Baator. I'm guessing that's not an option for you, though, is it, kitten?"

just a reminder that you guys do have teleportation field rings.
