Tel turns to look at where Dorian points their last foe to be going, and slowly lowers his staff. "Oh my. My powers don't seem to count them as animals, but I guess they still are at least close to being ones. It looks like we stole their food, and then killed most of the adults of their pact. I don't know about you, but I don't feel good about this", he says, and then goes to round up the rest of the nuts they'd gathered.
If he thinks it would still work, Tel casts Mass Healing Word on the downed Zorbos and gives the pile of nuts to them. If he thinks it wouldn't work, or if he thinks it would but it doesn't, he takes the pile between the Zorbo tree and the party.
"Well, that's settled,"declares Huarache. "Someone mentioned that those things damage armor. Magic and smithing happen to be my specialty, so does anyone need their armor looked at?"
Huarache has Smith's Tools on him, and he can cast Heat Metal or use a campfire to assist in forging. Also, he will repeatedly cast Mending on Echo to heal her until she's at full, which would probably take about three minutes, four with fairly unlucky rolls.
Also, if we're really wanting for food, I think at least one of us can prepare Create Food and Water, and Huarache has fishing tackle if we ever come across a lake.
"Yes, we should let them be. Perhaps move on from their territory as soon as we can."Dorian will go about packing up his supplies, and reviewing his spellbook to see if he wants to prepare any different spells today. "How are you doing, Ctenmiir, undamaged?"
"And for that matter, is anyone in need of patching up?" adds Huarache, who is holding a small device with a glowing point. He fiddles with some aspects of the device using a lockpick and a screwdriver, then holds it out for whoever needs healing.
Thanks to some treatment from Tell, a few zorbos look like they'll pull through, dragging themselves back into the trees, most have been too badly damaged to recover.
Your party puts some distance between themselves and the previous night's camp site before patching themselves up and healing any wounds suffered.
(Ooc: FYI, everyone made Dex saves when hit, so your ACs are intact.)
You're 3 days or so from port Castigliar to the Southeast, or you could head due East to the coast North of the abandoned town, which was never more than a collection of small tin huts and lacked any actual moorings or socks, making it a port on name only. Those among you with some local knowledge would know that the town was overrun by undead, but you're also well aware that the whole area you're walking now is crawling with them. So, what do you do?
(By the way, if anyone is curious about the undead situation, or anything else just roll a history check)
Your group travels overland for three more days. Having gotten slightly turned around, the group makes it to the coast just north of Port Castigliar (randomness, not railroad)
The jungle stops abruptly, a narrow strip of white sand beach separates it from the blue waters of the Shining Sea. In the distance, you can see storm clouds on the horizon. Southeast you may just see the silhouette of the distant island known as the Dawn Warrior, but only if you were looking for it, as it is quite distant and, topographically, not a high elevation. The sounds of the jungle can still be heard behind you, as the wind and waves call you.
"Well we made it to the water anyway." Leann says as she wipes sweat from her forehead. She gives the others a nod of approval, having found them all worthy companions on the journey so far. She glances up and down the shoreline, trying to see which direction would b best, and getting herself oriented. "I believe the idea was to find a ship from here, right, so to the port?" She nods in that direction.
Ctenmiir relates to you that he is fine and unharmed inside his coffin. Noting that you have arrived at the sea, he surmises that you stand somewhere along Kitcher's INLET. He informs you of the following (for those who didn't already know):
The River Olung pours into this shallow bay named af ter Ilyber Kitcher, a pompous Cormyrean explorer who claimed to have discovered it a few centuries ago. He did no such thing, of course; the inlet's existence and location were well known before Kitcher missed the Bay of Chult (he was a terrible navigator) and unknowingly sailed down the peninsula's eastern coast before a storm blew him back within sight of land. There is nothing remarkable about the inlet, other than it provides access to the ruins of Port Castigliar and Mezro."
Ctenmiir is quite knowledgeable about the area especially as you move south through the continent and historically removed from the present. Current events and locations to the North, not as much.

" Port Castigliar (pronounced kah-STEE-lee-ar) is a port in name only. In fact, it's nothing more than a stretch of beach with an abandoned supply depot, seven battered huts made of bamboo and thatch. You're not likely to find a boat there. I guess we're walking." Ctenmiir says matter-of-factly

Just under a mile from shore a few miles North, you see some dark rocks protruding from the water, but on close inspection, you can clearly make out the outline of a longboat.
Vernell recalls the following general information on undead in Chult, which locals would probably be aware of; some definitely, though they might or might not disclose much to the others.
Ras (a title close to 'Duke') Nsi was once a Chultan paladin, a Chosen of Ubtao and sworn protector of the city of Mezro. He betrayed his oaths and was banished from the city. Becoming a vengeful warlord, Ras Nsi attempted to conquer Mezro with an undead army but was defeated. The undead horde, no longer under his control, spread throughout the jungles of Chult. Mezro was later destroyed by the Spellplague.
"Yes, yes,"Dorian says, pulling out the box that contains the stowed boat. He eyes the wrecked boat suspiciously. "We should go with care until we get further out. How rocky are the waters in this area?"
Tel turns to look at where Dorian points their last foe to be going, and slowly lowers his staff. "Oh my. "If I remember correctly, the small one had some kind of a magical boat. Dorian, was it?" Tel points out.
"Yes, sorry, forgot we already have our own boat." Leann says with a sigh. "Well, we going to take that then?" She asks, glancing to the boat's owner.
(OOC: Sorry, busy morning at work)

The waves near shore are only 2 to 4 ft. The skies overhead are grey, darkening toward the Eastern horizon.
Can any of you sail? There's always oars, and your welcome to try the sail either way, though.
