"I think since the tracks seem to be unobstructed that would be the most efficacious means of egress," states Shutorn, interjecting himself into the conversation. "If we're intercepted, then I can try to charm our way past the kobolds, and if we end up having to fight our way out, then so be it. But our first course of action should be to go by way of stealth."
Is your stealth roll with advantage from the waterfall? It's fine. If secret escapes are what's in order, can I get a stealth check from the group then?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You're on the deck d level just past the waterfall on the ascent, but the clanging of weapons and armor are too much for the sounds of the waterfall muffle.
A kobold underling awakens and begins shouting in Draconic. ”Wake Wake. Intruders!" You should infer that he has seen you.
There are actually 4 kobolds in here that are willing to fight. They all have their own initiative, but this is the average, so they'll just act together. It's close quarters unless somebodys running away, so I'm not doing another map here at this time. It's area 11. There's torchlight, so no visibility issues there.
Shutorn casts charm person using a 3rd-level slot, targeting three of the fighting kobolds (DC 15 Wisdom save) and steps forward with his arms spread wide and says, "Guys, we're not intruders! It's me, Shutorn! Tzindelor sent me and my entourage up here. She said you could guarantee us safe passage to the surface."
Huarache readies an action to shoot any kobold who attacks him or an ally, and he will in that case say that Shutorn knew that kobold was planning to betray Tzindelor and will look at Shutorn for confirmation.
Attacks if the trigger happens:
Attack: 18 Damage: 20
Attack: 17 Damage: 15
Echo will stand near Shutorn to impose disadvantage on the first attack of the first creature to attack him.
Dorian will step behind his comrades so that he's not easily seen, and use Message to speak to the kobold sorcerer in what he hopes is a dragon-y voice. "Let them pass. Take them to the surface."

The sorcerer doesn't seem entirely convinced, but turns to the other kobolds who appear to be quite friendly with Shutorn and looks back to the group, contemplating what to make of this.
The underling, however, just sees a bunch of smooth skins (and Sam) crawling around their mine. He reacts as he's been told to. He picks up his hand crossbow and fires at Shutorn.
15 for 8 piercing damage.
As soon as he does so, the DragonShield kobold promptly smacks the underling <dealing 2 damage>
Leann is up, then back to Shutorn. <Posting in either order would be alright with me>

The DragonShield takes bludgeoning damage 1. He doesn't lose charm person effects as the party did not directly harm the creature under the spell. Leann and Shutorn are still up.

Stealth roll 21 in post #1067.

Yes, that was what you asked for, but if the intent wasn't for that roll to cover our movement all the way up, I can re-roll. Let me know.
It's fine. It makes sense enough if the kobolds are sleeping.
So... Should I just roll the group's remaining stealth checks, then?

Does Shutorn get a turn to act? If so, here's an initiative roll: 20
Sorry. Missed ya. Looks like you're up

He nods reassuringly at them and smiles.
Wis saves (no advantage):
Kobold scale sorcerer 9
kobold dragonshield 15
kobold commoner 19
Two kobolds recognize their old friend Shutorn and greet him with open arms. The scale sorcerer is not taken in by the ploy.
There is also a kobold underling. That's all of them, not counting the two the owl saw, but they're over on the other side of the mine.
Huarache is up

Right.. have to resolve Huarache's held action.
So, he shoots the underling, who promptly explodes. Then Huarache shoots him again.
