Regaining his composure and doing his best to keep his distance from the umber hulk and the xorn, Shutorn asks his familiar to swoop in on the head of the umber hulk to distract it as he targets it with chill touch. Attack: 25 Damage: 4

The Xorn extracts it's submerged bulk from the rock in which it was embedded and pursues its prey, its third eye is drawn ro Echo, rhe tastiest morsel in the canyon. (They eat metal)

Claw 20 for 6

Players are up.  (Huarache, if you think you gwt an aoo on that one, go for it, we never really said exactly where you were at the end of your turn, just a general idea)

Huarache will gladly take that AOO on the Xorn and go for it with the AOO and both attacks as he yells, "Get off my dog, you bastard!"

AOO Attack: 12 Damage: 5 slashing and 5 fire.

Regular Attack 1: 14 Damage: 6 slashing and 2 fire.

Regular Attack 2: 11 Damage: 10 slashing and 9 fire.

He will cast Branding Smite on his turn, because nobody messes with his robo-greyhound. 8 radiant damage on the first non-opportunity attack that hits.

Echo also goes for the Xorn because nobody messes with her. Attack: 7 Damage: 10

EDIT: Wow, only four of those twelve rolls were above average.

Dorian will try casting Faerie Fire on the Xorn this time. DC 15 DEX save. He'll be sure to stay at least 20 feet away from it if possible.

Hmm. Methinks I should have let you do that first.

The umber hulk is hit by both if Leanns attacks as well as Dorian's chill touch.  

Fire and light erupt from the wound left on the Xorn's middle arm by Huarache's sword. (Dod i kiss the post where the sword flame property was activated. I remember its an action or a bonus action, bit can't recall which)

As Dorian completes his spell, a glow emanates from the creature's body.

Huarache backs away after the shots, and he will stow his gun to pull out his Flame Tongue Scimitar, if you will allow that as a free action. If so, he uses his BA to light the thing up.

OOC: All I know about the Umber Hulk is from an episode of Just Roll With It that I listened to months ago, and I think they have darkvision and a burrowing speed. Let's see if it's more terrifying than I remember.

 You allowed me to stow my gun to pull out the scimitar, so I used my BA here, post #1335, page 67.

Dorian's cold ethereal hand grabs the hulk by the mandible and with the weight of the hereafter, drags the monster to the ground, its thick carapace crashing with a thud and visceral

Ccc-rack! as brown ooze pools beneath the heavy body, trickling down the rocky path to the tunnel behind it.

Shutorn, Sam and Leann are up.

Attacks against the xorn have advantage.

(Guessing Leann will need to do a dash to get close to the other enemy, so that will be her turn.)

Quick math: 75-30=45. So yes, it looks like it, unless you had misty step or Haste or something, or made a ranged attack.

Shutorn: chill touch: 12 for 13

Sam: fire bolt 7 8

The Xorn attacks Exho again, hungry for magical metal.

Is it Huarache's turn?

Yes. Normally i would have mentioned attacks past the ones necessary to eatthe robot would be directed at the  nearest melee combatants, but i hit post right before my phone died.

Thinking about it though this happens:

The Xorn, its belly full, its humting buddy destroyed and itself surrounded, the xorn uses its movement to  earth glide directly into the stone underfoot.

End of combat.

Check for important updates in the ooc.

Does Huarache get an AoO? If not, then the following happens:

Huarache swears loudly in Gnomish, pounding on the ground. "That bastard ate Echo?! If it had left her parts here, I could have brought her back up, but it ate her? Get back here, you muddy bastard, I'll give you something to chew on!"

I expect he is allowed an AOO, have at it.

In that case:

Attack: 25 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. slashing and 5 fire.

Welp, that doesn't hit. Oh, well. Then he's yelling as normal.
