Unfortunately, while Volo had plenty to write about beholders, he didn't write anything specific about Xanathar or his Guild.
Unwrapping the package, Phineas reveals two bricks of jade, each one etched with the visage of a dragon. It is immediately obvious that the contents of the package would be worth a small fortune.

Not finding anything of interest in the book Phineas snapped it shut and stowed it away in her pack, and also re-wrapped the two bricks of jade back up all nice and neat... even going so far as to use a lovely colored piece of string to tie a cute bow around it. Then she'll stuff the package back in her pack before heading off again!
The jester and her faithful sidekick Cheeky will then proceed straight for the back alley behind 'The Pickled Fisherman' tavern where she was instructed to deliver the package. She figured that she'd take care of that first since its located on Sail Street in the Dock Ward too. Her plan is that once that job is taken care she can then mosey on over to the 'Skrewed Dragon' and talk to anyone there about Floon. One thing at a time, Phineas was in no particular rush...
Behind The Pickled Fisherman, Phineas and Cheeky wait for their mysterious contact. While they wait, the little goblin jester practices his juggling skills, which need... improvement.
After a while of waiting, a raspy voice from around a darkened corner calls out: "Jane the Foole? Did you retrieve the package?"

Phineas giggled when she heard the raspy voice call out to her and quickly stood up and peered into the direction of the shadowy corner from which the voice had come as she reached into her pack for the package, "we sure did, mister... got it right here... you got our reward with ya? Let's do a swap! And,"she paused, "you know that sounds like wickedly sore throat you got there. I also got me some licorice root right here that will fix you right up if you want some?" She offered politely in a honey-sweet voice...
The shadowy figure steps forward, revealing a hulk of a man with a wide, scarred face. "Thank you for the offer, but no. I happen to like my voice the way it is." He reaches out with one hand for the package, and in his other hand he holds up a small sack which seems to be full to bursting with coins. "A swap it is, then."

Phineas didn't seem phased by the fellow's appearance nor taken aback by his scars, "well, I do have to admit your voice is intensely deep and quite pleasingly masculine, so your preference is very understandable."The plucky jester replied with a coy grin complimenting the hulk of a man as she handed the man the package with one hand, while her other hand reached out to take the sack of coins as Cheeky kept an eye open to back her up should things go south...
The scarred man flashes Phineas a wicked grin, and hands over the pouch of coins. "Honest pay for honest work. A pleasure doing business with you, Jane..." The man bows deeply, puts the package into his coat, and vanishes around the same corner he had appeared from.
Phineas is now the proud owner of 100 gp.

Upon the receipt of the pouch of coins Phineas giggles and flashes the man a flirtatious smile and exclaims, "thank ya kindly, it's a real pleasure doing business with such a delightful bohunk cutie like you too! Toodles."
Then something occurs to her after he seems to vanish around the corner but she shouts out to him none-the-less,"hey... by chance do you happen to know anything about a guy that goes by the name Floon Blagmaar, aka, Floon the Loon? If ya see him, tell him I'm looking for him!"
Note: If he happens to respond then Phineas will have a chat with him, etc. If not, and he's gone, gone then Phineas and Cheeky will continue on their merry way towards the Skrewed Dragon as Voly directed them all the richer for their efforts.
