Morgan looks over the scroll in his hand, a frown of irritation flickering over his face. The runner, who delivered the message, stood nearby, clearly nervous at the noble's reputation. "I'm not going to kill the messenger." Morgan informed the young man with a flick of his gray eyes to the man and then back to the message. He knew he had gotten a bad rep as an angry noble, his younger years having not yet allowed him better control over his family's legendary temper.
Morgan is an imposing human with raven-black hair and storm-gray eyes. he stands well over 6 feet tall, his build impressive as heavily-corded muscles fill the height-of-fashion clothes he wears. The black leather surcoat has his family's coat of arms on the chest, Shield with a red field, light blue flames and silver stars. A greatsword is in a harness across his back, its hilt swaying over his left shoulder.
"Looks like I'm headed to a meeting." He finally says with a grimace. Turning on his heels he strides off, the black leather surcoat sweeping after him as he moves purposefully through the streets.
Sybil looks down at the scroll as it's present and warily takes it from the messenger, "I'm not in some kind of trouble right?" She looks at the messenger, who shows no signs of knowledge on the matter, "I can provide witnesses if someone's amiss but I need to know first,"
She lets out a sigh as the messenger just leave without a word, probably to next recipient. She looks down at the her clothes, leather armor with a well worm dark blue traveler cloak over it. She tries to pat and brush the dirt off her clothes, loosen strap holding her crossbolt and palming a crystal before heading towards her destination with scroll in hand.

“For me? How kind mistah!” Lissa exclaims through a toothy smile, brushing her straw coloured hair from her face.
“I’ve never been in a towah! Is it true ya can see the whole land from the top?” She looks at the holy symbol on her shield “Lord I can feel myself getting closer to your light!”
Calgin accepts the letter, noting the symbol on the outside. He waits until the messager has left, then breaks the seal and opens it. One eyebrow raises as he notes the short, 3 word sentence. "Draven's Tower, eh," he thinks to himself. With a sigh, the man looks back down at the still non-functional firearm he was tinkering with. "Guess this will have to wait," he mutters, then turns and heads towards the tower.
Shutorn rises to his feet and drops the scroll on the earthen floor of his room. "Alright, alright, I'm coming," he exclaims and emphatically spits on the symbol of the feldad as he throws on his cloak, hurriedly gathers his gear, and heads out the door to answer his summons.
As all of you entered the tower the guards see you scrolls and escorts you all to a chamber the walls are made out this black obsidian like brick whilst the multiple beems are made out berch wood there is a circular table with enough chairs for you and at the end you see a elderly half elf woman “sit” as you all sit down she then says looking at all of you “ you are all here for a task that is important for the future of this war, even though you don’t look like the bunch to get along for a long road trip”
“your mission is to transport a new segie machine we call rav to the city of vixen we have contacted their military presence there and on your arrival you must use the key word cerb to gain entire”
Lissa struggles to contain her excitement as the half elf speaks, fidgeting, grinning uncontrollably and waving at her new companions mouthing “hi”
When the half elf finishes speaking Lissa blurts out “Thank you for choosing lil old me, It will be an honour! You really think we can help end the war?”
Sybil leans back in her seat as she looked around the other and settling back on the half elf woman, "I will assume this will not be a short trip and will not be a safe one. You have your reasons for picking us I hope. What are talking for compensation for this venture?"

"If it can end the war, that would be a good thing." Morgan says in an even voice. He stands at the table, towering over the others as his gray eyes look over each person in turn. "How big is this device? Will it be in a wagon or can we carry it in a backpack? If we need to travel with a wagon it will make the trip more dangerous, as we will be a likely target of enemy forces..."
"While I understand this is an important weapon, this may turn the war but I doubt it'll straight up end the war. Best not to let it get to your head," Sybil states while lean back in her seat, eyeing everyone in greater detail, "Even a soldier will be paid in a war and we are doing an important task. We are not much better equipped than your average guard as well. If we could get an advance on reward or simply get some items that may assist us would be good. Of course, knowing what our large friend wants to know would be of great help,"

"A fine bit of joinery that," says Shutorn, looking up at the ceiling, "who's your carpenter?
"More to the point," he continues without waiting for a reply, "if it will thwart the enemies of Xol, I will certainly help deliver your package to Vixen. When can I start?"
"This is going to attract a lot of attention," Sybil states as she looks over the siege weapon, "Any idea what we may encounter along the way? As long as I'm getting paid, I'm in but I like to know what to expect,"

Calgin nods as well after a few moments of contemplation. “We can get your weapon to Vixen,” he says. Then after another moment, “how likely do you think we are to run into trouble on the way?”
“There are two roads that will take you there the coastal and the delwa forest delwa is quicker but roads are more acceptable to an ambush the coast is slower but it should be safer but the choice is yours” she tosses a you lot a stone “if you encounter any border units show them this” points to the stone
“good luck” with that she walks away and closes the door behind you
Morgan takes the stone and nods to the others. "Do we take the forest road then, get there as quick as we can, or the coastal one, likely to be nearly as bad as the forest, and slower to boot." He raises an eyebrow to the others in question.
”I don’t mind taking the long road mistah, ‘sides it would be nice to get to know eachother on the road!” Lissa beams at Morgan As she just her hand forward to shake ”I’m Lissa, like the old hero, she’s actually like a great great great grandma of mine or something....Say, you seem awful strong, how’d you get all those muscles? I’ve been working out a bit too but this is impressive, they better think twice before messing with us” She laughs “nice to meet you!”
