"Thank you, master gnome," says Eryn. "You have been most helpful. Enjoy the rest of your evening."
Eryn then walks with Aeros to where the rest of the group are and tells the others what they had found out. He ends the report with the following general observation.
"Have we bitten off more than we can chew? Spies, saboteurs, and now artificer traitors to the empire who know how to use black powder... At the very least we should have asked the Watchmaster for more coin for this task."

"I'm sure if we succeed there'll be an opportunity for that." Aeros replies to Eryn. "And I don't know about all of you but I'm pretty beat so I'm probably going to call it a night. I'll meet you all down here in the morning"
Once the conversation is finished, Aeros will then close his tab with Meera and head to his room for the night.
The time finally had come and Arthasis would get the chance to sleep. "I'll be off to bed now. You can tell me tomorrow what you found out.", he yawned to Aeros and the others. "I'm sure it was fascinating stuff. I wish you a good night."
Eryn muses to himself privately—not for the first time—about the need of the non-elven races for sleep. Then he admits to himself that he is also tired after a long day of travelling and the excitement of the evening. So, perhaps a few hours meditation would not go astray, but he might need something to get him through the whole of the night.
He collects his things from Menodora, thanks her for looking after them, and approaches the bar where he attracts the attention of the proprietor. "Owner," he begins. "Where might I find my room? Also, I was wondering if you might have something to read that I might borrow to tide me through the night. Do you have such a service for people of my race?"

"The rooms 'cross from Menodora's are available; ye and yer friend there are free to choose whichever ye like," Ellomeera tells him, snorting a little in amusement. "'An no; we ain't got such things here," she adds, clearly finding the idea funny. "Ye wan' service like that, ye go uptown."
If no one has any other business, I'd say you all pass a fairly peaceful night. Everyone gets a long rest.
When you come down the next morning, there is breakfast waiting for you. The young man behind the bar -Ellomeera's son, Aeros and Menodora would likely know- is busy cleaning the bar; he's sweeping, wiping tables down, carefully moving around sleeping drunks. Udoth is nowhere to be seen in the light of day. If you come down early enough, you catch a few patrons heading out for their shifts, grumbling about hangovers and talking sleepily about plans for the night.
Keaton comes down from his room wiping gunk from his eyes. He chuckles at the revelers. He mentions to one of them, "Burning the candle at both ends. You're going to burn out. I suspect it'll be glorious."
He goes back to his papers. He'd brought some from the Monastery, planning on getting a little bit of work done while he was travelling. There's a bit of particularly archaic and misspelled Abyssal that is giving him trouble. He absently picks at his breakfast while he works, consuming much more coffee than food.

However, before he partakes in breakfast he asks one of the serving staff if there is any place around that he can get his armour fixed. As he says this he displays the rent in his armour caused by the kobold's crossbow bolt.

Arthasis struggled to get out of bed. He usually did but even more so after yesterday's tiring events. When he finally had prepared himself, he went downstairs to meet his companions. If they wanted to get the bounty put out on Zabriss, they needed to make some progress today. He would approach the others already at their breakfast. "A good morning to you all.", he greeted them with a smile. It once again came easy after he had a whole night's sleep. "What are our frist steps today? Do we seek out the Firemark facility or have you found out anything new from last night's inquiries here?"
"Aye, ye'll want the Neverbend Smithy," the gnome serving Eryn's breakfast tells him, eyeing the rent in the armor. "They'll fix ye up nice; it's just north 'o the Firemark facility."
Eryn thanks the gnome and then joins the others to eat breakfast, selectively choosing fruit, vegetables and high protein foods rather than anything based on grains. [OOC: If that isn't possible, he will make enquiries and go without, if necessary.] He places himself at the table so that he has his back to the door and/or the nearest window.
"There is a place near the Firemark facility I would like to visit if the plan is to go that way first," he says in response to Arthasis' comment. "However, I do wonder what it is that you might be looking for. My assumption is that the Firemark is probably one of the most controlled and best guarded facilities in the whole town. I suspect that the black powder used to break Zabriss out of the prison came from somewhere further down the chain of supply and demand. Perhaps even cobbled together from some of the fireworks we saw on display last night."

"That maybe so, but as long as we dont know anyone down the chain of supply, I say we follow the leads we have.", Arthasis tried not to show the rising irritation. He didn't like to be challenged early in the morning. Of course he hadn't pressed the people on this fact but Arthasis wasn't about to tell him that. "Well, These are all questions best asked to the experts at Firemark Facility."
Aeros comes down the following morning a little after the others refreshed and ready for the day. Heading first to the bar, he greets Meera's son and grabs whatever meal they were serving before joining the others at the table. After listening in to discuss the other's plans, he chimes in with, "Can't hurt to head over there and take a look." pausing to take another bite of his meal, "Worse case scenario, we lose 30 minutes confirming that the facility is a dead-end."
Menodora makes her way down to breakfast feeling refreshed, and ready for whatever excitement might be in store for them all. She sleeps in a little bit later than the others, and wanders down to find most everyone already eating.
"Good morning, everyone."
She gives a wave to Ellomeera's son with a polite smile, takes a seat and begins to take in her breakfast, looking between the group as they discuss their plans.

"That is indeed my plan," says Eryn to Menodora. "Then I would like to follow up on the clue about the red mud and find this Lay of the Land apothecary shop."
Eryn takes another bite of his breakfast and then a thought occurs to him.
"I don't suppose any of you have the capability of mending my armour using magic?" he asks those assembled, easing his body around to show the small hole in the leather where the kobold's bolt penetrated. "It is only a small hole, hardly worthy of a special trip to a smithy and I would be happy to pay someone, if they can fix it." Then, after a moment's further thought, he adds, "It is hard to believe that such a small wound rendered me unconscious... I suspect the bolt might have been drugged."
[OOC: I have been playing this that Eryn doesn't know that he was healed as he was unconscious at the time when the Healing Word was cast on him and woke up with no one near him. He can now be filled in on the facts, if anyone is so inclined. This also explains why he hasn't acknowledged Keaton for healing him.]
While the others talk, Keaton observes. To Eryn, he smiles and says, "A lucky shot for them, truly. Perhaps you're right. It may have been drugged. Also, yes, I should be able to fix the puncture. Sorry, I get lost in my own thoughts. Here." He lifts his right hand, holding his middle two fingers together. A thick golden tarry substance congeals on the tip of his fingers. He quickly wipes his the tar-like substance onto and around the punctured leather, leaving the goo over top of the hole. After a couple of seconds the goo starts to harden, then change colors.
"A quick mending spell. It works by mimicking the surrounding material. I've used it on books and clothes. Doesn't work so well with living material though. It doesn't mimic, so it just stays a goopy mess until it evaporates, which can take a couple days. One of my colleagues tried to *ahem* "Mend" his thinning hairline. It didn't go so well for him. Ah there we go. That should be good." Indeed, the leather is completely repaired at this point. "Lovely!"
