The flat of Aeros's first blade lands against the side of the kobold's head, and it spins, reeling, it's eyes falling closed as it drops, unconscious. The flat of his second blade misses as it falls to the ground and lays there, unmoving.
[OOC: What happened with the kobold's attack? Did I miss it?]
Amazed by both the sudden gush of water and the fact that the taller figure is still standing, Eryn decides that magic might be appropriate for this situation.
His eyes following the running figure the bright red ring on his hand flares briefly a deep crimson.
[Bonus Action: Casts Hex on the fleeing taller figure; it now hexed by him and has Disadvantage on Strength-based checks.]
"Grab the runner!" he shouts before turning his attention to the remaining kobolds. Nocking another arrow, he moves so that he can get a clear shot at one and looses the arrow.
[Action: Roll to hit: 13 ; Damage if a hit: 5 ]
Hit or miss, he continues to move so that he can keep the fleeing figure in sight.
[Move: Follows the fleeing figure using whatever remaining movement he has.
Later edit: If possible, Eryn will move so as to not let the kobolds get an Attack of Opportunity against him and end up far enough away that they will have to risk an Attack of Opportunity from the other party members if they try to chase him.
Still later edit: I just realised I didn't take Arcturos' Bless into account. It probably doesn't matter, but here is the additional d4 just in case: 2
Even more later edit: DM, Ignore the last line about the Bless as it hasn't been cast yet as Arcturos has yet to act in the round.]
Things were happening fast and soon the fight with the five kobolds was in full swing. Although the others tried to hinder the large figure from fleeing, it looked like they weren't very successful with it. The water fountain was a nice try though, Arthasis had to concede. He would have been interested in how this device worked, but soon remembered that there were still a handful of kobolds to deal with. Aeros and Eryn quickly killed two of them, which left three creatures to deal with.
Arthasis attacked the enemy nearest to him with an Eldritch Blast, deciding it posed the greatest threat. Attack: 10 Dmg: 9 (rolled in my last post)
(My bad, forgot the Kobolds, will roll them now - I'm rolling four of them, since technically they should have gone before Aeros. My apologies, it has been a very long day)
Kobold One at Aeros with shortsword - Attack: 12 Damage: 6
Kobold Two at Eryn with crossbow - Attack: 18 Damage: 9
Kobold Three at Menodora with crossbow - Attack: 8 Damage: 6
Kobold Four at Arthasis with shortsword - Attack: 24 Damage: 9
[OOC: Unless Eryn gets more than a +3 for the cover he tried to find, he is down and Unconscious and so doesn't get to shoot his second arrow or cast his Hex.]

So Eryn takes a crossbow bolt to the chest and falls to the ground, unconscious. Arthasis is hit, but manages to keep his feet long enough to fire an Eldritch Blast at the Kobold who attacked him. Reeling from the blow, his aim is off and his blast misses.

The kobold ducks out of the way of Menodora's attack, growing at her. Letting out a small frustrated growl of her own, Menodora turns, her hands glowing a dark, forest green as she casts healing magic on Arthasis.
The tall figure, seeing that two of their allies have been downed, mutters under their breath and around them, a large cloud of fog begins to build up, obscuring everyone's view. The figure and the remaining kobolds disappear into the fog.
One kobold remains unconscious on the ground. Another one is dead, an arrow through it's eye. Eryn, Keaton, and Menodora can hear a very high-pitched whine starting to build up from the direction of the fallen kobold.
(OOC: Two questions: How far away is the smoke cloud and the fleeing group from Aeros' current position? And is the one making noise the one that had been knocked unconscious?)
The smoke cloud is about thirty feet or so. You don't know the relative position of anyone inside it. And Aeros doesn't hear the high-pitched noise yet, so he wouldn't know~
(OOC: Got it. Couldn't tell if it was my kobold who was waking and up and if I had to bonk him on the head again)
With one threat temporarily neutralized, Aeros begins hurriedly heading towards the sudden smoke screen. Seeing one remaining kobold clashing with Menodora, he'll take his swords and attack it from behind, attempting to knock it unconscious as well.
Aeros's first attack misses, the kobold ducks beneath it in its attempt to flee. The second attack catches it, but it manages to just barely keep its feet, disappearing into the fog cloud.
[OOC: Is Eryn able to cast sleep at a target point he cannot see (i.e., within the cloud)? The spell says a point he chooses, not necessarily a point he can see.]

Leaving his bow where it has fallen, Eryn gets to his feet, draws his sword and moves towards/into the fog cloud (i.e., 15'). If he doesn't reach the cloud, his Action will be to perform the Dodge action. If he enters the cloud he is going to rely on his sense of hearing and smell to strike at anything that comes within reach. It is my belief that he will not be at Disadvantage because his Advantage due to those senses counteracts the Disadvantage in a situation where sight is obscured.

With the Kobolds and the taller figure vanishing behind a wall of smoke the immediate threat for his life appeared to have passed. Especially because he felt the healing magic of Menodora washing over him. Revitalized after hanging onto consciousness by a thread, Arthasis knew that he now owed the woman. He didn't like that.
