Randrak is unfazed by the fact that an axe was just thrown at his head. He is also not bothered by the naked captain in front of him. He steps forward into the cabin drawing his axes, he begins to swing them around in circles.
"Look here, Captain Blackfire. There's something going on, on this ship I don't like the smell of it. Baldenvelt fell to goblin forces aided by dragons. Though prior to that there was a series of assassinations on high profile targets, not something easy to do in the capital. Yet here you all were in the middle of the raid. Your little goblin sidekick told me what your first mate and some of your crew were up. Though he failed to mention what business you had in Baldenvelt.
Graciously you let us on to this ship, but for some reason, you managed to draw the attention of all three green dragons. You would think they would be a bit preoccupied with the city and not this ship. If it was just the one dragon, that's something I could understand, but all three? That's more than just a little coincidence, don't you think? Now I don't understand why dragons would be allied with goblins to attack a city. Though I hear that their only real interest is gold, at least supposedly. Yet I do not see much wealth on this ship.
Then to add to this whole affair, last night, whilst meditating I felt a presence on this ship. This presence was that of a dragon. It's the only thing that would have a mind so big and vast. Other than the gods themselves, of course. Then it spoke to me. It commanded me to sleep, and I did. But why would there be a dragon on this ship?
So I have decided to come to talk to you this morning, seeing as you are the one to hold the answers here.
It's time to come clean, captain."

“Captain, if you have any information I feel we all deserve to know what’s going on! A whole Dwarven city has been overrun! Please tell us the whole truth.”
Captain Blackfire stands there naked and sodden in utter disbelief. As shocked as she is by the appearance of yet another of her guests uninvited into her cabin, it is clear that your plea Uldran has averted violence by a hairs breadth. She takes a long steadying breath, her eyes still wide with fury locked on Randrak.
“Druid the loss of Baldenvelt is clearly a shock.” she replies, “but if this paranoid pervert does not put that axe away and remove himself from my cabin by the count of ten i will beat seven colours of holy shit out of him and tie him naked to the foredeck for the remainder of this trip. I have given you refuge though you be strangers to me, I have armed and equipped you though I owe you nothing and this is how you repay me?”
She walks up to you now Randrak heedless of your axe and stops just short of the swinging blade, “One... two... three... four... five...”
Mercwri, blissfully unaware of the drama be acted out in the Captain's cabin, wakes up, yawns and heads for the mess deck, or what would serve as such. He is intent upon searching out Mender and talking to him, being's he is the only other gnome on the ship. As he enters the cargo deck his curiosity gets the better of him and he starts to look around, just kinda looking at the chests, sniffing the sacks, looking under the bench and reading any labels that might, accidentally, appear in front of his eyes.
Investigation 19 Perception 21
He will not open anything, nor slit any sacks or anything of that sort, him being a guest and all, but, he will be as thorough as possible without disturbing things too much. He will try diligently to leave no trace of his...curiosity.

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
Mercwri you find a wide range of tradable goods organised around the cargo bay. Many of the chests, sacks and barrels are sealed and difficult to identify though you do note the smell of whisky coming from a small stack of black oak kegs. You guess the larger barrels nearby contain ale and sure enough you soon spot the crest of Bluehorn Gold from the northern reaches. Good stuff. You pause to examine a pile of what at first glance appear to stacked wrapped bodies. On closer inspection they are too symmetrical and appear to wrapped in massive dried leaves, a question for the Captain perhaps. (OOC: I suggest you knock). You do, at the end of your search find an empty glass vial and a silvered stopper lying near the far door.
(OOC : we will say this happens shortly before Randrak does his thing to allow you unfettered passage)
Making your way up and out onto the deck you eventually find Mender near the bow using some sort of spell to repair one of the ships many glowing runes. “Oh hi!” He glances up as you approach.
Randrak does not back down, "You think you're so tough, do you? Just because you're the captain of this sorry undisciplined lot? I could take you down with hand tied behind my back!"

"Morning Mender," Mercwri takes a breath. "Ah, sea air." He looks around at their molten surroundings. "Some folk say t'is supposed t' be good fer a person, but I al'ways wondered 'bout that." When Mender is not working his spelling, he will ask Mender about his life at 'sea', how he came to decide to join the crew of the Blackfire(?), how he ended up a shipspeller, or whatever the proper term is for what Mender does. It is called 'Gently Prying' in interrogation parlance; and Mercwri is really interested and his demeanor and focus of attention on Mender shows that.

Sighing, I turn to Voros- “let them have it out, I’ll heal any damage to the both of them. Though it looks like I’ll only need to heal one” a little smile at the last comment.
"Why is armored dwarf fighting naked captain? Is he a bad dwarf?", Freak asks Torg. His face is red and he's trying not to look, but everyone is looking.
Mercwri you have seen enough magical potion vials in your time to recognise this as one, though its contents have been spent. The glass work lacks the yellow sheen of High Rock castings, pointing to a foreign origin. You have no clue however as to what it may have contained. Give me an Arcane roll as you ponder it.
Speaking with Mender, he is visibly amused by your mention of the "sea air," and almost chokes at the idea of it being good for you. "My friend if it were not for these runes I am repairing we would all be choking on burning fumes right now, not to mention sinking to the bottom of the Burning Ocean." As you continue to chat Mender reveals that he enjoys his life at sea having run away from troubles at home several ears ago. Old Salvas took him in and taught him the art of Rune Shaping. He loves the life and can not wait to be a Rune Shaper in his own right some day.
Hitticus, sensing that trouble is brewing up above you do the sensible things and slip away. You find several crew men on a break up above and sure enough a game of dice is in play. It's 10 Silver to play and you roll 2d6 in an attempt to get a seven to win. Good Luck!
Freak you stand next to Torg as you both peer up the stairs into the Captains cabin. At your words Torg roars with laughter and slaps you on the back. "I'd say he's been a very bad Dwarf."
Randrak you get in a sharp jab that splits the Captains lip and as she licks the blood away her eyes seems to shine with the thrill of the fight, "Now that's more like it!" she roars as she brings an upper cut toward you chin then swings around her other fist toward your ear.
