Torvin will swing his hammer at the one attacking him
warhammer attack: 22 damage: 6
Hearing the horn sound he will take it as a cue to head to the ship and use his movement to head that way (willing to take the opportunity attack if he fails to take the goblin down)
Mercwri doesn't hesitate, sprinting to the Firehook he will Dash to the gangway. "Yaaaah1 I ain't gonna bes goblin cheesecake, or whate'er theys be eatin' these days. Run fer it, there's to many of the slimey buggers."

Panic is a mechanism that strengthens the gene pool.
OOC: Fire in your two actions guys and that is the end of the initiative rounds. From here on it it is free posting and a running battle to get the Firehook out of dodge! Have fun.
Randrak you kill that sucker dead and race on toward the Firehook as goblins start to pour down from the north. They are slowed for now by the tangle of vines conjured in their path but that won’t last for long there are just too many of them.
The rest of you are now boarding the Firehook with Uldran lagging behind. The few goblins remaining close by are levelling their bows at you Uldran. You feel a sudden breeze and in the distance hear what sounds like the loud beating of wings.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Hitticus your way to the lower deck is impeded by the crew as they emerge in response to the Captain blasting her horn. They immediately set about the business of disembarking with practised efficiency.
16 for 4 : Uldran a goblin arrow skips harmlessly off your armour as you race up the gang plank and onto the deck of the Firehook.
"Raise the plank!" Blackfire cries once she sees you safe aboard, "Draw in the lines and have us away!"
"Aye Captain." comes the cry from the crew.
Mercwri you get a sense of satisfaction as your shot sends its target crumpling to the ground dead. A second later however, it is answered by a barrage of arrows from the approaching horde who are thankfully too far away to do much harm. Most of the arrows clatter against the stern of the ship and drop sizzling into the lava below.
You all note a red robed dwarf emerge from below deck. His hair flows long and white as does his beard. Marching to the Captains side the two converse quietly and then the newcomer raises his arms in a dramatic fashion.
"Haul away!" Blackfire cries and arcs of energy spark from the hands of the robed dwarf. They strike the runes that you see etched all around the ship and with an almost beastile roar the Firehook lurches forward away from the dock.
Randrak stands on the ship watching the city. He watches as the city he once guarded, the city once called home is destroyed in front of him. How many people died in that attack? How many are dying as he watches the city succumb to the arrows of the goblins and the poison breath of the green dragons? And for what? What was the purpose of the attack? Why did he comrades die? Why have to fight his instinct to save others, to save himself? What was the purpose of the assassinations?

Torvin stands there looking at the devastated city before him. Without thinking he retrieves his Holy Symbol looking at it, and saying a prayer to Moradin. Praying that his friends where able to somehow escape like he did and praying for vengeance for those that where lost this day.
The Firehook surges away from the docks at speed now. Clouds of arrows fly toward you as goblins begin to mass on the dockside. They fall harmlessly into the lava and the foul creatures howl and curse as they see you escaping their grasp.
"All crew stand ready!" the Captain calls out. "We make for Duragath."
"Aye Captain." comes the resounding reply.
"We have guests aboard, make them welcome." The red robed dwarf whispers in the Captains ear and she seems to consider for a moment before giving a firm nod. She looks to you all now,
"Rune Shaper Salvas has offered to be your guide aboard this vessel. No doubt for most of you this will be your first time to sail the Burning Ocean..."
The Rune Shaper steps forward with a slight bow, "So before we see to your mundane needs do any of you have anything you wish to ask?"
Before any of you can answer you hear a distant roar followed by the crash of stone. Turning you can all see the form of an adult green dragon now perched on the warehouse you were all hidden in. The whole crew freeze as they take in the sight of the mighty beast, but instead of flying after the ship it seems to settle into a crouch where it has landed. After a long tense moment everyone seems to relax. The dragon is not pursuing...for now.
"Keep an eye on it Mender." Blackfire snaps and the apprentice Rune Shaper runs to the aft view point with an "Aye captain."
"So..." Salvas repeats with a nervous cough, "any questions?"

"Captain, you are looking worse for wear. May I say a prayer to the Burning Ocean on your behalf?" If she is okay with it I will cast cure wounds for 9 healing.
"If you don't mind I would like some time to consider the days events and what it means for my home. Is there somewhere that I can rest?"
"Do you have any armor more fitting to a dwarf on board? These leathers are doing nothing. If not, I will be indisposed below deck." Hitticus heads out of site to the cargo hold as soon as possible.
"Rune Shaper Salvas," Mercwri asks, "do you know ought of the events," he sweeps his hand toward the falling city, "we were forced to flee? I had heard... rumors of, mm, dark deeds, mor' whispers from a statue, truely. But perhaps ye are aware o' more." Mercwri carefully removes the arrow from his arm and starts winding a strip of cloth around the wound. "I bes a bit scratched, 'n' if there bes a healer aboard that could lend a touch 'r two o' healin' that would be appreciated."
He slumps down onto the deck, "The Burning Sea ye says cap'n, nae, I've not ben there afore, seems it might bes a bit warm, heh, heh."
