About me I've been lurking for awhile and see lots of games going but not a lot open looking for PCs. I decided to GM below. I'm a fan of High Rollers, Acquisitions Inc. and Critical Role. I've been playing DnD on and off for years.
Dr. Winslow had put out an ad in the student news.
A wanted: student who embodies historic virtues and none of the prejudices. Seeking all who are brave and want to make a future in the past please apply in the anthropology department forth with…
You know Dr. Winslow is an eccentric historian and astrophysicist. The man was a legend to some and a cautionary tale to others.

Other races are a go but need good backstory why they 'came to earth' and would be at university trying to time travel earth's past.

Clemens has been attempting to teach here at the university for some time despite his degree being worth somewhat less than the paper it was written on. His thought was that if he could just get his foot in the door, he could take enough classes to actually get up to snuff. It’s met with a lot of resistance so far... but! Here’s an opportunity to get in good with a professor! If he manages to gain an ally, perhaps that will tip the scales the other way. It’s not as though Clemens doesn’t know anything.
This sounds fun, I'm gonna go with a human, and probably a bard (I really wanted to go with wizard but I don't have the book and I don't want to be an evoker lol) I'll pm ya with the backstory and what not
Vic doesn't like being told he cant do something. He was told he couldn't be a wizard because he was poor and his family were nobodies from nowhere. Well, Vic had a knack for proving people wrong, especially if it was his family. Maybe his dad already knew this about Vic and gave him what he thought was an insurmountable task at the time as a joke, become a top tier wizard. Vic was smart, but lazy. He already always had his nose in a book instead of helping out at the farm. Vic's side job as a scribe help paid for the books so it just made sense to him. Plus, he had access to some pretty great material while subscribing. Eventually he dad got to him and he decided to take to a local wizard and train under the man. It turned out that Vic seemed to be a bit smarter than the old man in terms of how much information he could retain along with his ability to understand and manipulate the weave fairly easy. Eventually, Sherman the dirt wizard didn't have much else to teach the boy, and referred him to Dr. Winslow, the smartest person Sherman could think of. It was a bit daunting working with the talented youth, and Sherman was a bit relieved to be rid of infinitely absorbing sponge that is Vic. Not knowing what to expect, but fully expecting to learn a lot from the eccentric Dr. Winslow, Vic undertakes a new journey to expand his physical and mental library.

I will again say your PC is a freshman in college. I am totally cool with not traditional/older PC concepts folks but my biggest hook was your PC is a freshman in college. If you've missed or ignored that key detail it's one of the reason why I've cut you loose or didn't send an invite. I'm big on paying attention to details out of the gate.

You can certainly try. D20 modern arsenal is published but again how would you maintain it? How would you find the raw materials etc...

I've accepted a warlock and a wizard, I am looking for tanks and traditional healer classes.
2 slots left. If I have messaged you I'm still thinking on it or if I haven't I've already cut you loose!
