Oran jumps out the window following Doe'Tana the bear (Acrobatics if needed: 14. Brilliant idea!Oran tells Doe'Tana through the mental connection. But... how can you turn into a bear? You don't mind me riding on your back, do you?
Ah, I see what you meant - I was angling more for a wall that had a lot of windows rather than being entirely covered by them, but that won't make a difference with that roll.
Doe'Tana, your roar and charge easily crashes through the wall, creating an exceptionally large amount of noise in the process. You hear more noises emanating from the rest of the building you are in, increasing in volume and speed. The dog that barked at you promptly whines and turns tail, fleeing from the brown bear that materialized. Light suddenly floods through the hallway, and certain windows elsewhere along the wall of the exterior of the house begin glowing a strong, yellow light.
Outside, you see the back of a relatively clean-looking house. There's a large yard at the back, around fifty feet wide and thirty feet across to a thick patch of trees, presumably leading to a forest. It had a small garden that you've just left in turmoil surrounding the base of the house. Peculiarly, there's an interesting structure to the right of the hole you've just created - bars of some strong material are supporting two chains hanging from the top, with a piece of slightly curved material connecting these two chains about the height of a chair from the ground. You also notice a small creek of water at the far end of the yard, which has a small wooden plank serving as a bridge across it. Surrounding the edge of the yard is a fence made from white material, likely painted.
As you are momentarily surveying the yard, you hear a voice from the vicinity of the room that is now doused in light. You are not able to formulate exactly what has been said, but this is what you can make out; "What in...is this? Marcy! Call the...comin' out." before fading away to become too obscure to appropriately hear.

I told you I was a magician. I have quite a few tricks up my sleeves...or under my pelt as the case may be. Hop on, let's get out of here before too many people catch sight of us. Afterwards we can try to get an idea of where we are and where the others might have ended up.
Giving Orana chance to climb up on his back, Doe'Tanaheads to the back of the yard, planning on crashing through the barrier that separates them from the treeline and an appropriate amount of cover.
Bear strength for fence? 20

The fence easily splinters under your strength, carrying Oran and Doe'Tana into a relatively dense, forest-like area. A dirt trail that seems relatively well-trodden leads from the bridge over the creek, and provides a semblance that the forest you are in has been canvassed before.
About two minutes of walking leads you to a small clearing, designated by the same dirt path that brought you here. The path leads into a circle with three or four trees punctuating the clearing. Amidst the thick forest, you can see two other paths dotting the perimeter of the central circle, leading in different directions than the one you recently traversed; One is about the same width as yours and leads into a curvy, dense thicket of trees that is difficult to see past, and the second expands into another dirt path that is significantly larger and more well-trodden than the one you are currently on. There is a large sign straddling the central trees. It's in the same language as the books you recall from the room you originally materialized in, and it seems to be the same derivative of Commoner you read on the books you previously encountered. To attempt to read it, you may make a flat Intelligence check to infer the meaning of the language.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Oran attempts to decipher the strange language found on the sign. (Intelligence: 16) He suggests to Doe'Tana to take the less-trodden path, assuming it would lead to less danger.
Oran successfully figures out that the message reads; "Willow Park". A little below the sign in small wording, you see a small, aerial schematic that details the area you are around, along with a compass that orients where you are. A path to the South, signifying the direction you came from, is labeled "Hillson Creek". The larger path North-East is signified by "Meadow Farms", while the small path to the West is labeled "Roanoke Trail".

I concur, honestly I'm of a mind to get into the thick of those trees and wait for a bit to see what kind of response happens to the ruckus I caused. Seeing what kind of creatures live here might give us a clue about where we have ended up.
It is an odd and amusing sight for no one in particular to see the brown bear walk over to the sign and inspect it, almost as if it could read. (Intelligence: 4)
After taking a few moments to glean whatever information he can from the sign, Doe'Tana presses into the trees along side the less-trodden path, attempting to melt into the shadows a bit while still having a view of the paths.
Brown Bear Stealth! 10 (Brown Bears have +0 in dex...not stealthy critters, but I don't want to drop the shape just yet.)
Oran will follow in Doe'Tana the bear's steps, trying also to stay in the shadows (Stealth: 6) and stay away from potential threats, be it human or otherwise.
(OOC: Oof. I am just getting bad rolls. See you all in the afterlife I guess.)
"I will lead you then. Come." He says to Arnold as he holds onto him by the arm and starts slowly walking down the trail away from the rumbling noise. "Ciradyl, we may need light immediately if we find enemies ahead. Arnold can hold the front line with me while you work your magic from behind. Speaking of which, you are not just a minstrel, are you?"
Nonchalantly she replies to Baragon, "You are right, i'm not just a minstrel. I've got a bit of sorcery magic in me. You know the story, born in the light of the full moon, it gave me some gifts I didn't ask for. That kind of thing. I'm sure you have heard something like that in your travels." She walks behind them. "After 200 years I really still haven't gotten the hang of it. I try to be as careful as I can with it."
She pulls out her flute and clasps the crystal in the cage around her neck and whispers to the flute "~*Calina Simpina*~" and it lights up with that pale blue light the same as at the Inn. She hides it under her heavy cloak for the moment until it is needed. "You just tell me when we need it."
He grins (read: bares his teeth) at her from ahead. "I am thankful that the two of you are so easy to reason with. Not a trait I have found often in my journey, it one that I appreciate."
After that he goes a little quiet. He's listening to and watching the area around them closely as they make their way down the path.
Ciradyl keeps her senses open to the world around her listening and honing into anything she might not sense as ordinary.

"I'm not used to necessarily being in these kinds of situations myself. Music has been my better half for a long time, so I'm very open to any expertise and anything I can learn." She keeps trudging along. "What you Baragon? what makes that hammer your favorite?"
"The hammer? It is a going away gift from my pride, you could say. When they learned I intended to hone my body by training as an athlete under Volien Longstride, they pitched in for a gift to remind me of my roots."He scratches his mane in embarrassment and adds, "As a cub, I was ill and often the runt of the litter, you could say. Though I had grown to be bigger than the any other of my pride before I left, that doting had not changed."
"That's nothing to be ashamed of. We all have to overcome what we were born with. It's good they gave you something to leave with."she sucks in a deep breath. "I haven't thought about my home in a long time. I've been wondering the lands for at least 150 years. There is a place far away called the Pallid Grove, that's where I hail from. They weren't exactly kind to me. When I was younger my magic had a way of manifesting that was kind of chaotic. People didn't like me very much to be honest. I just up and left and I've been traveling ever since." She looks on to Arnold. "What about you Arnold, what is your story?"
"My greataxe comes from the people who made me! They had me fight in a war, which is where i learned to fight! And kill.... I don't like killing that much. But then the war ended! And then i didn't know what to do... But then i found a village! And now it's my home! They could really use the money!" Arnold says, mostly cheerfully with some somber tones - primarily where the "..."s are.
Going to be using italics to narrate the setting / my walls of text, should hopefully differentiate the flow of posts & make it stand out more.
Arnold, Ciradyl, and Baragon, you find yourself walking along a narrow path, with the plants dotting the rows of the field towering about eight feet in height, blocking much of your view from what can be seen. After about ten minutes of travel, with no distinct changes in scenery, you notice several streaks appearing on the canvas of the sky, and you realize that morning is approaching.
Furthermore, a rooster begins crowing somewhere far away, signifying the start of a new day, and that you are somewhat close to civilization in a world that may not be as alien as you expected it to be. The rows of plants begin to diverge more and more, and you can eventually see an interesting sight in front of you through the mist of dawn.
The clearing you have come across is devoid of any grass in around a thirty-foot square area, surrounded on three sides by the same plant that you have encountered. Several tall buildings are jutting out from the landscape, painted an outstanding shade of bright red, with wooden shingles that were painted white outlying the roof, edge of the windows, and corners of the building. It's clearly the back of where the building was meant to be perceived, but nonetheless, a door in the back leads to a small stable where several pigs and chicken are being kept. The largest few building are approximately two stories tall and have majestic, triangular roofs. Closest to you, however, are a small cabin-looking building and a weirdly gigantic, thin, circular, grey-colored cylinder.
All this pales in comparison to the oddities that are lying in the center of the field. A fantastical array of red, metal bars are construed in a fashion, with circular wheels at the bottom, and a long cylinder covered in a horrid display of spikes arraying the right side of the machine. A windmill-like contraption is nestled atop the aberration, with long, sharp bits of material jutting from the spindles. A little ways apart from it lies another interesting, albeit less formidable looking contraption. It seems to be a slightly deformed rectangular, or boxed-shape hull made of the same red material, with larger wheels adorning its sides.
Oran and Doe'Tana, you take the smaller path. Despite your best efforts at being stealthy, you cannot seem to help but leave a noticeable track in the still-damp mud from the rain that had just concluded. After about thirty minute's worth of walking, you, too, begin to notice signs of dawn peeking through the canopy of the forest you are traversing through. You, too, reach a clearing of sorts - the trees begin thinning out, but your trail continues. Peeking through a series of trees that are just off your trail, you notice a peculiar sight.
(For the sake of the story and what images I could find, ignore anything except for the primary building being focused - you're still in a woodland area.)
There is a small building looming from the trees in the foreground. In front of it lies an oddly flat, dark grey material with several parallel white lines running across its entirety, and two bright yellow lines directly lying in the center. It is running parallel to your trail, and goes as far as the eye can see in either direction. You can see a small diversion in the grey material as it diverges to the building, switching to a lighter shade of grey before being perforated by several square rods, which lie against a large box of some material, and rise up to support an open ceiling. Half a dozen flat signs adorn the scenery with curious and strange numbers, and more symbols of the language appear on the roof of the fascinating complex. Attached to the roof was a more traditional-looking establishment, with flat roofs and a brick foundation, containing many windows that were shaded from the early morning sun by the expanse of material covering the peculiar surroundings.
As you are watching, a blur of material approaches and shoots across the material in front of you. It is a rather metallic and shiny-looking curiosity, with spoked wheels of a fashion you cannot identify supporting it. It takes a turning motion, and takes shade under the looming expanse of material that adorns the building. Interestingly, a man - it looks like a Human - exits the strange box of material, and makes some strange motions near one of the large boxes you can see.
He pauses for a moment, seemingly lost in thoughts, as he casts his gaze over the surroundings. Oran, Doe'Tana, please make a Stealth check!
