Arcade compiles a list of the defenses and systems in place, adding a small note about the lack of defenses for instances of spatial warping, before calling Dani.

If/when the call went through, Arcade would speak with his usual mechanical tone, ignoring Jeff's raspberries and popping noises, "Mistress Dani. Task completed. Transferring files on station's defenses in detail. Short summary will state that the station is well-armed with an array of long and short-range laser-based turrets. Defenses include compact kinetic and energy force fields and alarm systems. If asked, I could act as a terminal for the systems to check their programming. Shall I come to your location for interface or further lend assistance?"

Dani answers the call while walking to the second ship for a full engine check on it. She listens, nodding along. "Convey all this to Toni, I'll forward it to whoever I pick for engineering. Then see if there's anything anyone needs you to do around the station and if not yeah, come back here. Oh, and is that Jeff I hear? Jeff, how good are you with people?"

Jeff pauses the popping of his lips. He’d turn to look at Dani. “That’s subjective...” He’d chuckle lowly. “Context?” He’d ask.

"I need someone to go make friends with the new people and determine their likelihood to turn around and try to blow us all up in our sleep one night," Dani says frankly. "And I'm crap with people."

You spend a few days consolidating power at your new station, making sure that none of the new recruits are going to try and murder you and finding out what they're good at to see how they'll fit in your crew. It's in the middle of one night, as you sleep with thoughts of what you'll all do next to build the legend of the Reclaimers that you are all shaken awake as the shields absorb a blow from something impacting it outside. As you all wonder what it was, you then hear the sound of the alarm blaring.

ALERT. INTRUDERS ONBOARD. ALERT. INTRUDERS ONBOARD.

Toni: As you wake up and scramble around, you get a message from Cogward, who is still on the Reclaimer. "Captain, we're being attacked by some other crew. The Reclaimer's engaging now, but the engineers are saying that some of 'em might've beamed onto the station!"

Dani rolls to her feet, her armor flowing onto her like Tony Stark's from Avengers Infinity War because if I'm Iron Man you bet your ass I'm leaning into it. Her reinforced fists power up as she checks her flamethrower and electrogloves, running for the weapons deck (I assume we have one of those).

Toni leaps out of bed, responding to Cogward, “On it, get the crew of the reclaimer mobilized, I’ll see to it the station and other ship are at battle stations.” She clicks off the comm and runs out to get Dani. Seeing the engineer decked out in her armor, she shouts out, “Dani! All hands on deck, take Arcade and Jeff, and assess the situation and get all defense systems active and ready. Me and Gin will get the crew ready for battle!” She turns and gets to the nearest P.A. System. “Tide star Rock! This is Captain Toni. We are under attack. Intruders may already be in the station. Anyone in fighting shape get to battle stations and prepare to defend our home. All others please hole yourselves where you can and stay safe! Show these mother****ers what happens when you mess with this station!” She gives a triumphant shout before signing off, unsheathing her magma blade she charges towards Gin’s room, “Gin, we need to head to the Dock!” 

Gin is shaken from her slumber at the alarm, a small whine emitting from her. “C’moooon... it’s like 3AM damn it... Ughhhh...” The Lashunta gets up from her bed and starts strapping her armor in sluggishly. When Toni arrives, she gives her sister a tired look and a yawn, finishing putting her bagpipes on. “Ya... Aye aye, cap’m...”

With a smack of her lips, she moves behind Toni with her rapier in hand, ready to defend (despite her still feeling sleepy). 

Arcade is alert the moment the first hit takes to the station as quickly arms himself, waiting outside Dani's door in his full loadout, since it is a part of him for the most part. He isn't connected to the station, but he can tell by the sirens and alarm that they're likely being attacked. When Dani comes out of her room, Arcade would follow her to the Weapons Deck.

Gin and Toni:

The two of you run about the station, getting any crewmember you find that looks ready to come along. You encounter six pirates that are combat ready at this current moment, as well as Sandara Quinn, the Cleric that's been with you since you we kidnapped by Harrigan.  Before the two of you can take your followers and get any further, a bolt of lightning comes streaking towards the nine of you. Make a DC14 Dexterity Saving Throw to take half of 26 lightning damage. 

Sandara:6

As you recover from the bolt, you see that Sandara is pretty hurt but still able to fight and that three of your crew lie dead, having been roasted by the bolt. Coming into view is a woman with a yellow top and tight black pants, standing aside an human-sized creature made out of air.

Arcade, Jeff, Dani:

You all run to the weapons array to get the defenses ready. You get the systems online and you can see through the targeting systems that your station is being attacked by a pirate cruiser named the Tempest. While the targeting cannons are online, they will need you to manually aim and fire them.

Dani directs Arc and Jeff to a cannon each and grabs her own. "Aim for the engines and anything sticking out," she says tersely as she aims her own cannon at an engine. "If they lose power, they can't shoot us or run away."

"Roger roger Affirmative." Arcade quickly pulls himself into a current control, and installs himself into its manual operations, "Acquiring target...firing."

Your combined assault destroys the engines on the enemy ship, which now means that they cannot escape. With this revelation, they continue to fire upon the Reclaimer and the station!

 Dani, you can read on the display for the defenses that the shields are holding at 84.5%

Gin and Toni:

Toni reels from the air spirit’s slam, “Sandara, Gin. I need a little help.” She shouts out as she spits some blood out. She then rushes the air spirit, slashing at it with her magma blade.

SLASH: Attack: 24 Damage: 11 IF IT HITS, she will use DEFENSIVE FLOURISH, doing an additional 7 damage and adding that number to her AC.

She then shouts over to Gin, “you got this sis!” (Bardic inspiration!)

“Yep!” Gin pipes up, able to shake off the sleepiness after the first shock. She takes out her rapier and shouts, “En’garde, fart face!”

Jeff apologizes for his incompetency between awkward chuckles as he'd watch IronDani and Arcade kick ass, completely in their element. He'd grin widely tapping two fingers together. "I suppose mingling with the new crew isn't appropriate at this time." Then he'd give a thumbs up with a cheeky wink. "You guys are pro!" He'd cheerlead, waiting for his next clue.
