You go deeper into the cave, passing through corridors and chambers that have been unoccupied for a long time. Occasionally you catch the sight of armed droids, permanently inert, having fallen apart in mid-patrol an unknown number of years ago. Eventually, you arrive in a chamber with an imposing robot with four arms, two of them grasping a large sword. At the back of the chamber is a steel door with a console next to it. However, this droid is not inert like all the rest and its' eyes begin to glow as it activates, ready to carry out its' duty.

Elite Defense Bot:14

“Oop!” Jeff chuckles when he’d be the one getting tugged an led along by the energetic lashunta.

When the droid’s eyes would activate and come to life, Jeff would give Gin a gentle pat on  the hand hooked in his arm. “Looks like he wants to crash this party.”

Initiative: 20 

Arcade looks at the droid's features, feeling sympathy for it....but also envy, and pride. It is still here, still standing, following it's directive after the rest of its kin had fallen. He would give it a proper send-off if he could. Speaking in Binary, he quickly sends a message out, "This unit greets you, and thanks you for your hard work. Now please perish."

“There’s always gotta be a party pooper.” Gin huffs.

Toni laughs, “The treasure is all the sweeter from all the effort!”

the Captain charges forward, excited for the battle.

"Oooooh." Dani's eyes light up at the sight of the droid, and she immediately starts thinking about what she can do with the parts.

Dani's defensive shield powers up as she slaps another portable heater onto the robot.

Heat metal on robbit's metal exterior, dealing 7 fire damage and imposing disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks until I lose concentration (I love this spell so friggin much).

Arcade quickly pulled up his rifle and stood in the front of the group, acting as an initial shield for his master and her companions, leveling his rifle to the fellow droid's head. He quickly fired off two shots, testing its defenses.

A low chuckle would leave Jeff from Gin's huff, further amused when her sister would bound forward in excitement. Without moving his arm, so the lashunta could hold on until she was ready to let go, the man would raise his other palm. He'd playfully squint an eye as he'd move his hand into a finger gun position to take aim. With a grin, he'd fire off three fiery rays towards the 'robbit'. "Pew. Pew, pew!"

Feeling an abrupt surge in his powers, Jeff inhales a breath, able to keep his cool.

Toni rushes in, blade arcing and sizzling through the air as it cuts in to the droid's chassis.

Gin's huffy mood is quickly wiped away when she sees Jeff cast off a killer first shot at the enemy. "Wooah!" Even if the other two shots missed, there were still glimmers of amazement in her eyes. "Nice shootin', Tex!"

"Now forgive me; it's gonna get a wee bit loud." She prefaces. Wanting to remain linked, the lashunta sweeps her leg out in front of her, casting off a Thunderwave!

Arcade easily braced and absorbed the blow meant for him with his armor before unloading another quick succession of shots into the Droid's midriff.

After maintaining control over his powers, Jeff couldn’t help but get a little bit of an ego boost from Gin’s praise. He knew he only landed 1 amazing shot out of three, but the glimmer in her eyes hinted that she appreciated quality over quantity. And how could he not smirk at that thought?

"Now forgive me; it's gonna get a wee bit loud."
He liked loud. Jeff would chuckle, bracing himself for the Lashunta’s boom. He could feel the power Gin unleashed reverberate through his core. “Loud, with a bit of a bite...” He’d comment with a grin. “Don’t mind if I do...” He’d coo playfully, taking aim with his finger pistol once again.

Toni leaps forward with a shout, lunging twice with her glowing blade into melted holes in the droid armor from Jeff's scorching rays, hoping to hit something vital quickly.

With the second lunge, she finds purchase inside the inner mechanisms, turning and twisting the blade for maximum effect (Defensive flourish, doing an additional 4 damage and adding that to her AC until next turn)

Your combined assault is enough to destroy the robot. You now have the opportunity to open the door, either by force with a DC16 Athletics check, or by hacking into the terminal with a DC14 Computers check.
