Thrash would still be biting and tearing at the eel for a few seconds before realizing it was no longer putting up a fight. One He realized it was dead, he would allow the creature to fall from his mouth before continuing to chew and then swallow the large chunk of eel that remained in his mouth. "Oh, Hey! You guys come runnin when ya heard the battle goin on down here? He got in a cheap shot when I wasn't looking... thinkin he could eat me but I taught him.. No body gets the better of old Thrash" The lizardfolk would reply as he searches for his hat in the stinking liquid. When Ashley mentions taking a shower he would just shake his head. "Nah, I gotta finish my work down here anyway. I can do that later" He would say with a smile. "I appreciate ya checkin up on me though. Fighting this guy got so boring I nearly fell asleep" he would add before picking up the eel and moving it up out of the water. he would take a bit of time to wipe the worst of the filth from the creature before returning to work. 

Toni will climb back out of the trash chute, “eww, I am so glad I don’t work down there. Thank you Ashley, for your help. We’ll keep working to get you reunited with your book.” Toni will head to the showers before returning to finish her shift at the medical bay.

"Fall asleep?" Ashley repeated, not convinced. "Sure." she said anyways. She scanned the area, eyes shifting again. She blinked at what she saw, surprised. "I would advise not swimming in there for long. I am detecting enough bacteria in here to make the Cosmic Health Research Organization jealous." She nodded to Toni and walked away.

After the fight, Thrash would perform his duties in the garbage pit. The lizardfolk felt as though he was getting a better grasp of sorting through the junk heap as he tossed countless items down the two chutes. Thrash's eyes would light up and his work would come to a sudden alt at the discovery of a small shard of metal.. roughly six inches long. Although it wasn't perfect, The steel was hard and the edge was sharp. At the end of his shift, Thrash would remain in the garbage pit for some time... Working the carcass of the creature with surprising care as he fillets the creature. As he removes the meat he would either quickly toss it into his mouth or would place it on a clean (ish) looking surface out of the water. The teeth, bones, and tendons would be collected in another pile and the leathery hide left for last. Once he had sorted out all the useful items from the eel, he would chuck the ueseless organs and other bits down into the incinerator before getting to work....

(OOC: Thrash is going to skip dinner since he has been snacking on eel and instead take the equivalent of a short rest to try to make something useful. )

 Assuming he would still have time to perform some actions once he is done, Thrash would then make his way out of the pit and clean himself up before attempting to have a nice chat with Shivikah. As he makes his way towards the member of the crew, his companions may notice a rather vicious looking weapon on the lizardfolks hip. With a bone handle secured to looks like a large set of jaws lined with razor sharp teeth...  the jaw bones have been broken and then secured together with bits of tendon and sinew to create a crude and savage weapon.

Toni invites Conchobar and Badger to a drinking contest (aka crew bonding). She will enjoy chatting with them between rounds, asking them how they got onto the crew, and what they used to do.

Gin doesn't really know what she's doing in the kitchen anymore but people are still eating whatever she makes so she ends up rolling with it and aims to make a decent meal dependent on how she's feeling that day. She still spits in the food of those she detests though.

For the night she decides to play a few tunes to the crew and maybe make some creds to get Ashley her book back since they were able to get Dani her stuff back. It would only be fair!

I don't remember how I got here. I don't remember who I was before.

At first, there was this overwhelming feeling of ending things. With Darren. My boyfriend. I remember that much. 

Now - and i'm not sure why - I feel different. My memory is hazy. My biology is changing. I can feel it inside. I can do things differently. Things I shouldn't be able to. I feel like i'm in control, and sometimes I feel like i'm not. 

I have urges. Urges to release a building power inside me. Not an explosive destructive power, no. A power to corrupt and manipulate. To command.

The worst thing is I like it.

Shivikah isn't too terribly interested in Thrash's weapon. Toni however, is able to get Badger and Conchobar to like her. Conchobar in particular is happy that an attractive woman is talking to him. Gin is able to make 20 credits from her performance.

The next day comes and goes with you all doing your day jobs. Dinner rolls around and you all eat Gin's food, which is spit-free, since she likes you. Once dinner is finished and everyone is socializing, Plugg comes in with a tall, barechested Vesk. "Who wants to make some credits? Whoever can beat Hatchbuster in a one-on-one fight wins 50 credits." Plugg has a cocky grin on his face that indicates he's confident that no one on this deck can do so.

Thrash would look around to his companions.. checking to see of any if them are willing to take advantage of this great opportunity. If none of them volunteer, The lizardfolk would take off his hat and wave it in the air. "I'll  take 'em on, It's been a while since I've had a nice scrap.. plus.. I'm still feelin a bit hungry.." The lizardfolk would say with a grin that makes it hard to determine if he is joking or not...

Gin happily hands over Ashley’s things to her after having bought it back. “I hope they didn’t jip me and keep something of yours, but I hope this makes it easier for you to help us later!” She gives her a wink.

At the offering of a fight for money, Gin pipes in, “Hard no from me! But that doesn’t mean I won’t watch you win, Thrash! Good luck out there big guy!” She gives him a good ol’ pat on the shoulder for some Bardic Inspiration!

Ashley slowly turns to Gin. "Ah. Yes. My book. Thank you." she takes it, not quite sure what to do with it. She thought for a quick moment, and said, "What do you mean, 'us'?"

“Us as in me, you, Toni, Dani, and Thrash! If you seriously think you’re gonna be able to get off this ship alone, you have a lot of confidence in yourself.” Gin says matter-of-factly. “We’re kind of a team now, and me getting your stuff back kinda seals the deal, you know? You don’t seem like the talkative type, so I doubt you would’ve convinced the quartermaster lady to give your stuff back, and I don’t exactly see you moving to get credits to buy it back, so I did it for you! Now you owe me.” She sticks her tongue out playfully. “You’re stuck with us now, whether you like it or not!”

"Oh." Ashley says, somewhat confused. "I actually don't know what I want. I don't remember anything before this place. I feel strange, lost, and..i'm able to do things that I can't explain."

"Like what?" Gin asks, her curiosity piqued. "Oh, but, only if you wanna tell me." She adds in. "Maybe with all of us, we can figure out what's happening to you? Maybe boggle a few memories here and there?"

"I am able to see inside people. Like a different spectrum. It shows me things I can manipulate. Bones. Organs. Since waking up here, I've felt a surge of power that wants me to try it. Test it. I have the feeling that I can manipulate people from the inside out. Not only that, I can control the inside of me, as well."

As if to illustrate her point, she shows you the palms of her hands, upward. Then, after a moment, at certain points from her hands, blood emerges though her skin and begins to drip on the floor.

"I was not able to do this before. In the trash chute, with the one who looks like you and the lizard man..I was able to control my blood to wound another living organism. Whatever is inside me listens to me. It wants me to control it. Release it."

Hatchbuster steps up to Thrash and puts his hands up in a fighting position. The rest of the crew gathers around you in a circle.
