"You dirty piece of!.." Thrash would shout as he stabs towards the creature with his spear before lunging towards it with his own jaws. "I'll bite ya back!"

The remaining Akata dies. You are now free to move through the hallway.

"Ya all alive? Anyone hurt too bad?" Thrash asks as he continues to chew the chunk of flesh he ripped from the creature.

"I am alive and well." Ashley confirmed, looking at the dead creatures scientifically.

Dani nods. "I'm fine," the young woman confirms, brushing dead monster off of her reinforced gauntlets.

Toni waves, “I feel the blood of my enemies under heel, I feel like a goddess of war!!!” She puff out her chest making a stand with one foot on one of the felled Akata, magma blade glowing menacing in the light. She gives a hearty laugh.

"So I guess I took the worst of it. Probably better that way." Thrash says as he spits the piece of flesh towards one of the corpses. "Alright, Let's see what other creatures are crawling around here. Stick my little green gumballs." He would say looking towards the goblins. 

You walk onto the bridge. Most of the control consoles are disabled, however, you can  see that some consoles that control the simpler functions, such as lighting and the doorways are still functional, as is the terminal that contains the ship's log.

Dani immediately heads over to the ship's log terminal and pulls it up.

Accessing the terminal grants you access to the ship's log, which initially starts out boring, with the captain reporting the purpose of the ship's expedition, to harvest minerals from asteroids in the Diaspora. The next entry is about the rock the ship is currently towing and the strange geodes that they found while exploring the surface of the rock. The next entry is more hurried, and the sounds of combat are audible in the background as the captain explains that the crew is being attacked by creatures whose descriptions match those of the akatas you killed and that he says hatched from the geodes he brought on board. "And there's something else-it came from the rock!" The log’s final entry was recorded in what looks like the engineering area and shows the captain in his space suit. “Purging the air didn’t work. I’ve activated the distress signal, but we’re abandoning ship. We’ll fall back to the rock and try to regroup there. Acreon out." 

“Hmmm, maybe we jettison the big rock?”

"I mean, I'm pretty sure there are people on the rock right now," Dani points out, but the young woman sounds more like she's just bringing that up on principle rather than actually objecting.

"Well then, we point the rock towards the closest sun and let it rip, then we got ourselves a other ship! Sounds like a nice enough payday to me." Thrash says with a Grin as he adjusts his hat 

"I guess we can see if anyone is alive on the rock...." Thrash would say with a pained sigh at the thought of making things harder than they need to be. 

"I am confused." Ashley stated. "Are we not suppose to look for life and help others? What kind of pirates are we?"

“I know in story books pirates are usually bad but let’s be a little different!” Gin pipes in. “Let’s check out the rock!”

“I just assumed everyone was already dead, but I’m down for saving strangers!”
