As Toni made the introductions and after she had finished her notes in her notepad, Gin would be the one to take Jeff's hand and give it a very enthusiastic hand shake with a smile bright on her face. "I'd like to think of this whole kidnapping thing as us going on a universe wide tour, with a new look!" She lets go of his hand and looks to Toni. "I'm gonna go get everyone else's names on the ship for our notes, so you're welcome to tag along and introduce yourself as their new overlord, or... do whatever it is a captain does! Just lemme know when we're gonna head out, 'kay?"

Regardless of her sister's answer, she would skip along to the next person, humming a peppy tune and introduce herself cheerfully to their new crew.

"Pleasure, Captain Toni." Jeff would nod his head in greeting. Then a soft chuckle would leave Jeff's lips from Gin's enthusiastic handshake. "Hello bubbly Gin." He'd grin. The caster would nod along to the girls explanations. It was simple and honest enough. "Piracy eh?" He'd scratch his chin. "I suppose it's not much of a stretch from previous jobs." The man would shrug. "Sounds like a fair enough gig."

Tonic offers a hand to shake, “Well, welcome to our ship. Right this way.” She’ll turn and lead the new recruit back towards their ship.

Jeff would meet Tonic’s handshake with a firm one of his own. She didn’t have to tell him twice. He’d strut along after her.

Back on the ship, Toni would call the main group together, “I’m going to be straight with you. I’m dumb, like real dumb, so I’m relying on all of your expertise to make the best decisions. Dani, do you think we can get the other pirate ship ready to fly and fight? Toni, do you think you could whip our recruits into shape and be my sister captain? Jeff, Arcade, you’re new here, what do you think?”

"You're not dumb, Toni!" Gin interjects, brows furrowed. "You'll get into the hang of it soon enough! Not everyone is born an amazing captain, you gotta work on it. Think of it like learning a new instrument! It's hard at first, but eventually you start rockin' at it and only get better from there! And you also have us with you!" She pauses a second, then tilts her head. "And were you asking me to be your sister captain? I don't think there's a second Toni here... Is there?!" She frantically pulls out her note book and starts flipping through the pages.

"Yeah, I'm Tony." Said a 6'6" tatted up dude that bears absolutely 0 resemblance to Toni. "Hi." He waves at you.

Dani looks up from her own clipboard. "Yeah. Give me four subs and this thing'll be up and running and ready to blast in no time."

Toni nods along as Gin gives her usual 'you're not dumb' spiel, continuing to nod like she understood through her question...wait...did she ask me a question? Toni's mind scrambles to latch on to info. "Yes, I meant you, but I think I said..."

Toni startles at Tony's response, "Oh! I haven't met you yet. I'm going to call you Lil' T, since I'm the captain, and therefore have sole nickname rights on this ship...and the other ship." she nods her head authoritatively, like the matter was settle. She turns back to her sister, "If you want to be captain of our new ship, we can have sister ships."

The lashunta captain thinks...and thinks...and processes Dani's sentence before stumbling the rest of the way through her thought process out loud. "S...so....are, you hungry? or...or is it a sex thing?....I....I don't know how that would help but.." she looks to Lil' T, "Are you a sub?"

Dani shakes her head as she stars something on her keyboard, smiling briefly. "Subordinates. People with basic technical ability that I can order around."

"That you can order around....how is that different than the sex thing again?"

"Because if they're not fully clothed, I'm throwing them out an airlock," Dani replies sweetly.

Toni nods appreciatively, "Good. Can't have any distractions. You have free rein to recruit for BOTH engineering teams. Take whoever you want."

Dani grins and heads over to Gin, who has the people clipboard. "Okay, show me everyone with even a vestige of technical ability."

Gin is nearly startled out of her skin when Tony pops up from literally out of no where, but she regains focus when Toni appoints him a new nickname, scribbling it down on her notepad. At the strange conversation between her sister and Dani, the lashunta could be seen holding back a few giggles, though when it gets straightened out, and the engineer comes over, she shows her the list and points out those who said were decent in their tech abilities. "Take your pick and I'll get 'em for you! Or you get 'em, doesn't matter."

"I'll go get them, they may as well meet me now, cause we'll be spending a lot of time together," Dani says with a nod before sailing off to wrangle her engineering crews.

Arcade follows behind Dani, helping her as an assistant through the process, "Mistress, I similarly possess technical abilities. I however do not possess cloth-based clothing. Shall I place myself on the exterior of the ship until such a time?"

"Nah, you're an exception," Dani reassures Arc. "Okay, let's go find our crew!"

Dani proceeds to recruit, suggest, or straight up order people into her crew. She ends up with two four person teams, one for the Reclaimed and one for their yet-unnamed second ship. She puts herself in charge of the Reclaimed crew and selects a young woman named Thistle with a healthy dose of technical experience to head up the other crew, bringing the total count to 5 per vessel (Arc is on her team, of course). She makes sure everyone gets acclimated with their systems and engines before they do anything fancy, making it clear that until you've worked on a system for at least a week, you don't make modifications, and even after that, you get your leader and the commodore's approval (and the captain too, if you're on the secondary ship). She backs this up with another dose of out the airlock threats, pointing meaningfully at Arc when she gets some doubtful looks as to whether she's capable of carrying the threat out.

After that, Dani is humming happily as she heads back to her quarters. "This has been an excellent day. Just gotta give Dora a tune-up." She drums her fingers lightly on the top of her gauntlet.

During the inspection and assignment of teams and crew, Arcade stood stoically beside Dani, watching her work, only occasionally speaking up to ask for clarification on various matters. He made a great job of simply looking scary, what with his battle-worn armor and sharp features. Still, when the threat to throw someone out of the airlock came again, he was forced to receive another command from Dani to stop him from carrying the task out at that moment. He gave a light apology after the fact to the man he had picked up as he sat him back on the floor.

"Dora?" Arc follows Dani back to her quarters, asking curiously to what or who she was referring to. "Additionally, do you wish that I remain at your side during sleep cycles, or shall I find a storage compartment to charge myself in during periods of rest?"
