After (slowly) following the others through the tunnel, he'll come to the same conclusion as Mad-Eye. "Seems so." Kasian will then begin to see if can pick-up any recent tracks. Survival: 11
Cade moves up next to Mad Eye and looks up at him. Mad Eye hears in his head...
"Open door, probably went that way..." Cade's voice speaks into his head.
Cade then nods to the open door. He adjusts his shield on his arm as he glances to the others in the group. He waits for someone bigger than him to check out the door first.
"No worries Rowan, we would have left some of them for you when you caught up. Can't have all the fun without you can we?" and Mad Eye will smile at them. "However I believe the voice in my head is correct, it would appear they went this way." and Mad Eye will move through the open doorway towards 24b.
Cade grins up at Mad Eye, in his head Cade speaks again...
"Just trust the voice in your head..." Cade's voice says in Mad Eye's mind, the diminutive halfling looking up at the man.
Cade moves behind Mad Eye, following him like a shadow into the next room. He has his free hand on the smooth wood piece hanging from the thong around his neck, his big eyes peering around Mad Eye to see what is in the room ahead, eyes still glowing red.
"Yes let's keep moving, hopefully we'll pick their trail back up soon." Kasian will then take a spot at the rear of the party, occasionally looking behind him to see if anything is following the group.

Mad Eye walks up to the hanging tiefling skeleton, and nudges it with his cutlass. "This poor bastard got cut short...." he indicates the missing legs and chuckles.
He'll then walk over to the door to 24a and examine it to see if its locked or perhaps even trapped since we're assuming those two figures ran this way.
Cade stands behind Mad Eye as he checks out the door, peeking out from behind him as he checks it over. He will follow Mad Eye through once they move on, staying nearly as close as Mad Eye's shadow.

Grumbling, "Well since we're here, we might as well check this entire area before circling back... just to be sure." Leading the way, he'll continue forward through the ajar door, taking caution to look for any traps.

AREA 24B - DEAD MAGE
Two things stick out in this room:
Bones. Moldy bones have been swept into a deep alcove in the south wall.
Dead Prisoner. Hanging from rusty manacles on the back wall of an alcove to the east is a tiefling skeleton missing its legs.

Written on the wall above the skeleton in dried blood are the following words in Infernal: TALK TO ME.

AREA 24a - OLD GATE
Pillars. Two stone pillars with a 10-foot-wide arch between them support the 20-foot-high ceiling.
Orc Bones. Near the base of each pillar are the skeletal remains of two orcs.
This room is dark and musty, but otherwise empty. There is a door north that is slightly ajar.
