In that case, I have to assume one or more of the character submissions made this far does not suit. As no input or suggestions as to what exactly the issue is and how to correct it for a better fit for the campaign, I am going to go ahead and withdraw my character submission. It's a shame I was really looking forward to a modern setting, cool concept. Thanks and take care, with any luck after the holiday you will get plenty more applicants.
I'd be interested if you are still recruiting! I'm in EST and have never faded or dropped out of a pbp campaign. Would love to see it through to higher levels. I post frequently, happy with RP and combat, feel free to check my post history.

Class: Rogue! (what would a true crime campaign be without one?)
Name: Bert Termagird
Background: Sage or Guild Artisan
Backstory: Bert's a skilled cartographer and has a perfectly respectable day job in town. He just... well, after dark he likes to sneak around. And look at fun new things. And maybe bring them back home with him. He brings them back! Usually. Or he'll leave something equally valuable behind him. But get this! There are other criminals out there at night, trying to sneak around too, and stealing things and attacking people! It's terrible. Can't have that. Bert's gotten pretty good at defending himself and defending other people from these brigands.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

The monks found him in the dumpster, rooting around looking for food, so small and thin! Where he came from, or who his family was a total mystery. The monks notified the police and cfs, but, due to the backlogs, the monks agreed to look after him until his family was found, or some other permanent arrangement could be made. Weeks turned into months into years, and Kilotan was put to work in the monastery, cleaning at first, and then other duties later. He turned out to be much better at cooking beans than counting them, which was a good thing because of the way he consumed food seemingly by the kiloton ;) though with little appreciable affect on his size...He also has a talent for learning the Way of the Open Palm. He is very good at stopping trouble by putting on his angry face...though his 1000 kilowatt smile suits him much better. .

(Thinking a slightly nerdy version of a Tabaxi or elf for race, if that fit the campaign.)
