Weizol is clearly shocked that this could happen in a human city as he follows the burly fighter closely. He had known they were not as well disciplined as the elven tribes but even so, pulling steel and trying to assassinate a leader in the street? He waves his arms at the robed figures, "Hey! HEY! Stop it, you can't try and stab someone like that!" His tone makes it seem as if he thinks they would actually stop if he tells them to. Obviously, he was sorely disappointed.
Seeing that he's all but ignored, he makes a sign with one hand and mutters to himself. "Don't blame me, according to the Dal'thiran Moral Theory, setting violent radical elements on fire is ethically justifiable..." A small blast of flames flies from his hand, towards one of the robed figures still struggling with the guards.
(Here's a firebolt, hopefully their clothes are flammable :) - 22 ; Damage if it hits - 9 )
(I have a idea what these men might be, but what would the DM say?)
Omik would stop playing abruptly as the sounds of chaos reach him. And he would frantically grab his belongings and a bottle of mighty strong ale, then make his way up to the top level and prop himself on a roof by climbing out of a window.
Crow will make her way in the direction of the guards, if she can, and ask if any of them are hurt. She will show one of them her Dispenser Device, which is currently set to Cure Wounds.

Seeing the firebolt pass him and ignite one of the men in red Val nods knowing that they are in the fight now. Not what he seeks out but a place of comfort for him none the less.
Attack- crossbow if still at range- Attack: 16 Damage: 1
Attack- glaive- if I can get in melee- Attack: 20 Damage: 5
Bonus action- glaive- Attack: 14 Damage: 8
(OOC- I want one alive so if this guy is the last one up I will use non-lethal attacks)
All the men are dead. Regardless of your efforts to keep one alive, the guards struck them down. Since Spoones was the only one who got a Perception higher than 10, he is able to see the following:
Quickly glancing back towards the Duke, you see something move in the shadows behind him. You can't exactly identify the figure, but it seems to be humanoid. It approaches, seeming to glide along the ground in the shadows. As it nears, it draws back its hand, and with a swift motion throws it through the back of the Duke. Sharp claws erupt through his sternum, and he lets out a cry of pain. The figure removes its hand and seemingly drops into the shadows.
After all the commotion, someone in the crowd around screams, "The Duke is dead!" And indeed, the guards rush over to find him, laying in a pool of his own blood, a large hole in his chest.

good idea. once whim changes back to his human form he goes to one of the dead robed figures to search and investigate them. maybe find out if i recognize their faces or have any valuable possessions.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Weizol will actually roll two investigations, one for the attempted disguise as a guard and one for investigating the men, respectively.

(Wow, that's kind of sad. I'm going to assume Whim's spell save dc is higher than 10)
Seeing someone suddenly jump in the path of his immolation bolts, Weizol snuffs the flames on his fingers out temporarily. He squints at the human guard telling him to stop... There is something out of place about him but he can't tell what. Not being familiar with humans in general (investigation 10), he decides not to think too hard about it. Just then, the Duke's death is discovered.
He feels a shiver up his spine. A murder so close by... He shakes his head and slips through the crowd to the fallen robed figures and scrutinizes them. (investigation 7)
You probably shouldn't post consecutively without waiting for the others to have their chance. Also the spell description of Disguise Self is investigation vs spell save dc (I think)

just roll a normal d20 and if you have any modifiers just add it

"WOAH THERE, we have everything under control. if you attack again we will be forced to detain you."
Once on the roof, Omik will lie on his belly (Or as low as he can get) on the roof on the scene below.
I would like to make a history check or something of the sort to see if I could discern the identity of these men.

I also want to see if I throw something would I be able to hit him.
