Monk-E: "Ah, good night of drinking, I see." He gives a small chuckle and continues, *SEE BELOW

Haldos: "Aye, go ahead into the Lord's Hall and speak with him, he'll have more information for you." You enter the Lord's Hall just behind someone else and overhear, *SEE BELOW

Lia: As you enter the hall, you overhear the Lord/mayor, a dwarven male with a fiery-red beard, speaking with someone (OOC: Sorry, he beat you to the dialogue lol) *SEE BELOW

Finn: Leaving her not knowing what to say, she glares at you as you leave, but you can't help but to see a sliiiight smile as you finish what you're saying. Entering the Lord's Hall, just behind two others, you hear the Lord, with his hearty/wholesome voice, speaking with someone. *SEE BELOW

* "There's a handful of the little bastards surrounding the well, some kids noticed them earlier this morning and almost got bit. I sent a few men to deal with them but the idiots got bit and we had to take them to the temple for healing. They must be poisonous because they said as soon as they got bit, they felt as sick as a dog. I have it on good suspicion that it was a trader by the name of Quinn Cornwallis that put 'em there. He's done things like this before to disrupt the production of Legrove. And now with this civil war going on between Atrea and The North, I could see him doing this to stop supplies from getting to the front line. He's making a lot of money off this war so why would he want it to end"

The Lord looks past Monk-E, and sees  Lia, Haldos, and Finn

He looks back to Monk-E and says, "Now there's some folks that look like they'll hold their own" He raises one eyebrow suggestively, "I've got 40 gold for the lot of you if you can clear out the snakes from around the well!"

(OOC: I noticed. I kind of meant for Lia to barge in/interrupt their conversation a bit.)

"Forty gold each or forty gold to share?" Lia asks, giving each member of the group an appraising glance.

Thirsty and aware of others that have entered the room, Monk-E says, "I'm in. And, the more that come the merrier."

"Forty gold to split or share between you four," Lord Dengorth replies, "Okay, he's in. What about you three?"

Lia sighs. It isn't as much as she originally hoped for, but it would still be useful to get her through the next leg of her journey. "I'm in."

 Finn is pretty sure he could handle a dozen or so snake on his own. but he was late to the audition , so to speak, so he'll work in the chorus. it's still a pocket full of gold at the end of the day.

Lia smiles back. "Nothing like a bit of action to start your day off."

Haldos smirks as he hears the information. Nothing I can't handle, he thinks to himself. Plus this might be the chance for others to see me not just as the evil priest of Asmodeus, but as a hero.

"I'm with these fellows," he adds, out loud. "Ready to be heroes."

As another that overhears Lord Dengorth, a man in greenish robes stepped closer, "Might I partake with that expedition?" Saproth said, interested to also find coin.

Dengorth claps his hands once, enthusiastically, and says, "Okay! I'm going to assign somebody to the four of you to confirm that the job gets completed. His name is Ivo'liss (Contuna)"

I assume we're heading to the well, now? It's easy enough to get to with Ivo'liss directing you there. As you approach the stone well, you hear the multitude of snakes hissing.

LEEETTTTSSSS GET READY TO RUUUUUMBLE lol just kidding...

But seriously lol ROLL INITIATIVE, say what you want to do (attack, cast spell, etc; I'll let you know on Discord if you can do everything you want to within 1 round), roll damage, and I'll put it together and we'll do the next round/"turn" :D

(1 round = 6 seconds in-game; if anyone didn't know that... so 10 rounds would be equivalent to 1 minute in-game time)

Initiative: 7

Along the way to the well, Monk-E removes his bow and nocks an arrow as they approach the well. "With all of us here," he thinks to himself,  "this shouldn't take long. I have doubts I'm even need to fire my arrow." 
Assuming his turn comes up while there are still snakes:
Standing about 40' away he lets the arrow fly:
Attack: 25 Damage: 9

Initiative: 20

Lia stands about twenty feet away from the snakes, pulling two daggers from her belt. She tosses them simultaneously, each one aiming towards a different snake.

Attack: 19 Damage: 4

Attack: 19 Damage: 4

Initative: 6

Haldos pulls out his trusty bow, trying to keep about fifteen feet away from the snakes, and fires an arrow at one of them. (Attack: 19 Damage: 5) Then he'll move around to the other side of the well.

Initative: 21 Ivo'liss also pulls out a hand made longbow bow and fires at the mass of snakes ( 12 to hit, doing 10 damage)

Snakes' Initiative (Let me add one more post before any replies) : 11

Ivo'liss fires an arrow and it pierces the ground right beside the closest serpent.

Lia pitches two daggers in immediate succession, "sink sink," both daggers hit their mark as one snake falls still and the other gets practically sliced in half.

Snakes:

Haldos, being caught a little off guard and feeling overconfident in the heat of the moment, fires his bow at the farthest snake and misses by only an inch or two.

Finn:

*How long should I wait for Finn to post before describing the rest of the first round/what the snakes do?*

Finn will hold his action to see how this plays out with his spell at the ready.
