The bandit manages to dodge Lorgar's spell, while Quin's dart glances off the man's armor. Quiller shoots at him with his hand crossbow: Attack: 19 Damage: 7
Balthazar casts firebolt on the bandit: Attack: 21 Damage: 1
Between Quiller and Balthazar's attacks, the last bandit succumbs to his wounds and falls over to the ground.
"Well, I must say, that was interesting," Quiller looks around. "Wonder what their corpses might be telling us. This be an odd place to be findin' such ilk, what with there bein' no steady marks running around, means they was prob'bly being paid t' be here."
He will check the corpses, starting with the bandit leader's, looking for information, treasure, weapons and anything 'odd'.

Quin looks around for his bolts but only finds one. He then proceeds to the tunnel the men came from and will stand watch while the bodies are searched.

The party is in a large cavern, with torches stuck into holes in the walls. The south wall contains the exit to the outside, the last groups of bandits came out a passage on the east wall, another passage is located on the north wall, while an alcove is present on the west wall. There are six bed rolls scattered about the room, with one additional bed roll present in the alcove.
When Quiller starts to search the body of the leader, he recognizes the man as one of the horse thieves that was on a wanted post at Mercer's Tavern. The man has 25 gp in a purse, four keys, and an empty pouch. While searching the man, Quiller also notices a hexagonal shaped depression in the floor at the entrance to the eastern passage (the one the bandit leader came out of). He is wearing studded leather armor, carries two daggers, and one scimitar.
Lukas does not find any coins on the other bandits, with each bandit carrying a scimitar and wearing leather armor.
Quin catches the faint whiff of horses coming from the eastern passage.
Quin agrees with Davrils response to his mentioning the horses. Calling out to the others Quin says, "I think I smell horses. Davril and I are gonna check on them. Be right back." He then follows Davril.
"be careful." Lukas tells Quin and Davril, afterwards he takes out his sword. "if we behead the bandits and take their heads to a guard post, we could claim a bounty on this group, if any."

“Check out this dépression in the floor here,” Quiller says as he gets out his thieves tools. He will carefully examine the depression visually, then, if there are any cracks, holes or anything else that might be a latching mechanism, he’ll check it out using tools.

The path that Quin and Davril take is lit by the occasional torch. The corridor initially declines downward for about 50 feet, but, then begins to climb upward for another 50 feet. The further into the corridor that they pair travel, the stronger the horse smell is. As they climb upward, they can hear the noises of the horses.
Quiller ultimately clears out a hexagonal hole, about 2 inches across and 4 inches deep. Next to the hole, he sees three wavy lines.
While Lukas does not find any empty bags, he does find a bag that will fit all of the heads in it. The bag currently contains 32 apples.

As Quin and Davril approach the area of the horses Quin pauses for a moment and turns to Davril and says, "Maybe I should go first. Just in case they left some guards."
Regardless of the answer, Quin attempts to quietly creep up just close enough to see if anyone is attending the horses.6
Quin creeps up the passageway and comes across a large cavern that contains a corral and a large number of horses. The rogue can't tell the exact number from where he is at, but, there appears to be at least a dozen horses. There are no signs of any other person.
Lukas finds two bags, and all of the apples appear to be edible. Whether they will be edible when one gets to a market is a question for later.
