As Quin opens the door a crack to toss the ration inside, a large dog barges through the door growling at the party. Another dog can be seen running up behind the first dog, barking as he approaches the door.

As Lorgar sees the dog rushing towards the party he feels a wave of anger rushing over him, a sense of pure hatred. He knows that these beasts must be purged. Standing too far back to purify them both with his Burning Hands, he instead casts the Sacred Flame cantrip on the first one.
1d8 radiant damage on a failed dex save, DC 13. No damage if it saves.
Observing the rapidly changing circumstances, Balthazar does not cast sleep, and instead summons a mote of fire to his hand. This he flings at the second of the two dogs, noting Lorgar's radiant attack flashing out against the first of the wild beasts.

Quin tucks his back against the wall as he lets the first dog pass. As the second dog crosses in front of him Quin flicks his dagger out in a sneak attack.

which fails its saving throw, taking 1 point of damage.
Balthazar casts a fire bolt at the second dog, with the bolt going wide and hitting the door frame. But, as the dog jumps at the noise, Quin attacks it from behind, doing 9 points of damage to the dog.
Lukas attacks the first dog, getting a solid hit on the dog with his long sword, with a spirt of blood spraying out from his strike.
Davril's spear hits the first dog killing it.

Two more dogs have now passed through the doorway, with two additional dogs in close pursuit. All four of the new dogs are in combat range for the next round.

Another mote of fire it is! He cusses very softly and undignifiedly to himself at his previous missed shot. Clearly he needs more practice. Or is he just getting warmed up?

Lorgar cast Sacred Flame again. He is aware that one dead foe is better than two injured foes, and so goes on to target the same dog as Balthazar. Inside his own mind he rages at himself for agreeing to stay so far back, unable to smite rhe foes with his Burning Hands.

OOC Rogues are not proficient in using shields, so Quiller is at disadvantage on his attacks when he is using the shield. I did not make an additional roll for this attack, but, did not give him the additional damage for a sneak attack.
For dog's #2 and #3, I randomly rolled to see who they would attack (for dog 2 it was between Balthazar and Lorgar, for dog 3, it was between Quiller and Quin, with the first person to post in those pairs getting attacked on a roll of 1 or 2 and the second person to post getting attacked on a roll of 3 or 4.
