"And Lukas, you asked earlier hoe I perform my magic, but we never had the chance to talk about it due to the rat swarm. My magic is not my own, but a gift from my god Helm as reward for my devotion. As long as I live according to The Watchers teachings and honor Him in everything I do He blesses me and answers my daily prayers with renewed spells. There are many forms of magic in this world, and not all are divine in nature. For example, our friend Balthazar here casts his spells as arcane, having learned the rights how to pull on the threads of The Weave to lure some of its magic to our realm. But what I do not know is how the lady Vothrolo prepares her magic, for I know those salves are not merely crushed herbs. I have already felt the gift of magical healing and know how to distinguish it from a mere ointment."
Last night: Lukas listens closely, then nods his head. "my thanks for your explanation. in truth, I had wondered if i could do it myself, but it seems i will have to wait until I know how to do so."

the morning:lukas takes point after quin opens the door.
Davril will take a guarding flank position, smiling slightly to himself at the memory of the others talking about how their magic was learned or earned, his own was a little different.
As Quin pushes the door open, it passes through the figure of a young woman. She turns to look at Quin before, stepping forward and lightly touching his arm and stating "Elo dear't Riparoth. Drifan hnot riman Xyroth oeah eower selenis me. Understandan hown andig se ar weondung." Quin feels a mild coldness where there hand appears to touch his arm. After she finishes speaking, the woman turns and moves her arm to close the door, but, her hand simply passes through the door. She then moves down the hallway that is revealed beyond the door.
The door leads to a short hallway about 10 feet long, which appears to lead directly to a large open area.
For Quinn:
Unlike the others, Quin hears the following: "Oh, hello dearest Riparoth. Please do not tell Xyroth you saw me. You know how jealous he gets."
"so don't. I do not recall you being this riparoth fellow. you are not obligated to speak to xyroth about a ghost's movement. they are echoes; present ones, true, but still nothing more or less." Lukas reassures quin.
"Woah! Woah!" Quiller looks slightly alarmed. "I'd no be following a ghostie ifn I was ye my friend. As has been said, them spectres bes sometiomes a heap o' trouble. If we run inta her again that bes one thing, but lets stick to the plan, we do have a plan, yes? Start up where we left off yesterday? Speaking of strange things, Vothrolo, you ever hear o' the two critters, what was their names Quin? Rippedoff and Zippedoff?" He shakes his head muttering, "Er, something like that."

"Fine if your not going to follow her lets at least check the room." Says Quin. He goes down the hall to the open space and gives it a once over just to see if any thing stands out for further investigation.
When Quin walks down the short hall, he sees the floor of the room slopes down to the east in a series of steps. At the eastern portion of the room is covered with a large stage. The female spirit can be seen walking down the steps toward the stage where a male spirit is standing holding his arms in greeting.
Vothrolo responds hesitantly "I think it might have been the ancient language of Kwalmendi, but, I'm not sure. I've never heard it spoken, only read it. And, I couldn't really follow what she was saying."
OOC Quin thinks the woman was speaking common while everyone else was unable to understand what the woman said.

Quin excitedly waves the others towards him. "Look! Look! Its kinda like the mural. Come on!" He hurries down the steps stopping just short of the stage where he watches the ghosts interact. He also scans the center of the stage looking for a sign of a trap door.

Quin draws his daggers and follows Lukas. Quin taps him gently on the shoulder to let Lukas know he's right behind them as they enter the room.

Balthazar follows, trying to keep a keener eye out for roving dogs or hordes of filthy rats.
Quiller will slip in after the others, moving to the side in order to keep a clear line of sight; thinking’I am a shadow.’

Davril takes a hesitant step back as the figure appears, "I'm not liking the looks of this, in my experience spirits aren't good news."
Quin nudges Lukas to follow her.
"Did you hear that? She called me Riparoth and told me not to tell Xyroth that I'd hadn't seen her. Maybe she'll lead us some where."

"Vothrolo - were the Kwalmendi fond of remaining on this material plane after their bodies had ceased to live naturally?"

"also, I said you could follow her. i did not say you couldn't."
"What language was that even?"
(OCC: I assumed it was the touch that let him understand. I doubt Quin knows any languages the others don't)
