"Great! Come, I'll lead the way" Vrakqrin leads the way back to where Esther and Kildrak is. As soon as they arrived, Vrakqrin saw Esther and Kildrak still working.
"Won't you both want to take a rest?", asked Vrakqrin to his two companions.
Esther sorts through the provisions on the wagon, stacking them up to make things neat and tidy. Attempting to swivel a sack of flour into place, she hears chatter coming from outside the wagon and peers out from behind the curtain to spot Vrakqrin and Illmryn. She jolts when they spot her and ask her to take a rest. Looking into the wagon then the stuff waiting patiently to be loaded, she shakes her head, clambering to the ground. "I'm nearly finished," she says in a quiet voice as she grabs two lanterns and makes her way back to the wagon.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Investigation roll : 24. Dovarax ashes his pipe “the party should be here by now”,he thinks to himself. “maybe they got sidetracked by something. Oh well guess I wont have to wait here in the rain for long.”
He places his pipe on his staff and gets his things ready. “right, looks like it’s about time to find a place to stay, I’ve already spent some coin on a cloak maybe I should find a place to spend the night for free”.
Dovarax walks through town looking for a welcoming place where he can spend the night for free.
occ: hoping his rustic hospitality feature will find him a place with the common folk.
Esther blinks up at Vrakqrin as he takes the load off her hands and stacks it into the wagon. Sputtering a thank you, she refuses the food. She already made the mistake of eating off another's tab. Hunger had clouded her judgement. Even now it felt like her stomach was eating her alive. The water from the rain touches her skin causing her to shiver and despite having water falling from the sky, she was desperately thirsty. Her dizziness and fatigue are worse now. She needed to find somewhere to lie down.
"Thank you for your help," she politely bows. "See you all tomorrow." Esther stumbles out of the shop and begins her search for a place to sleep despite the sun still being above the horizon. She makes her way to the edge of the town then into the woods, following what path she could remember from the night before. It's safer in the forest than an exposed alleyway where everyone turns a blind eye from the scraps on the side of the road. She will nibble some of her bread before curling up and going to sleep.
With Esther and Kildrak assisting John with loading the wagon. The wagon is loaded and ready to go by sunset.
With your individual activities completed for the day, you each find a place for respite for the evening and wake after a long rest, ready to face the days challenges. Would anyone like to do anything specific before heading out on the road?
Einhard is the first one to the wagon in the morning. He welcomes everyone as they show up bombarding anyone within earshot with questions about the wagon and its journey.
Dovarax thanks the family that gave him shelter gathers his things and walks to the tailor to pick up his cloak. He enters the tailors store and gives the owner his normal greeting. He picks up the cloak and admired the craftsmanship.
“Excelente job tailor, I thank you for your services.”.
At closer inspection he notices that the cloak also has his family crest on left side, Dovarax seeing this looks at the tailor straight in the eyes and exclaims:
“You have done me and my clan a great honor my friend and I will not forget this, as I travel with my new friends I will carry the spirit of this shop with me”
Realizing that he may be running a bit late Dovarax puts on his new cloak and says his goodbyes to the tailor and make his way to the wagon. As he get there he meets both Einhard and Kildrak.
” Kildrak! Einhard! Good to see you!”
”I hope you guys are ready for this, I know I am. Can’t wait to find anyone to try out my spells on, my blood has been boiling with excitement for the journey ahead, for glory! “.
Esther exits the forest, brushing leaves and mud off her cloak as she heads towards the warehouse. The street is already bustling despite it being early morning. As she rounds the corner, she spots a group forming outside of the warehouse, the wagon already on standby as the merchants hurry through their final checks.
Unsure of what to do, Esther sidles up next to the two horses with their harnesses already strapped to the wagon, stroking their manes. When their nostrils tickle her shoulder, she lets out a huff of laughter as an eager grumble comes from the back of both of the horses' throats. "I'm sorry, my new friends. I don't have anything for you to eat," she says as the horse tries to eat the invisible food in her hands. They swish their heads in disappointment and stamp their feet. "I'm sure your master has already fed you. You'll become fat if you eat too much."
Honestly, Esther wishes she had that kind of mindset too. Ah, what life it must be to live as a carefree domesticated animal and have everything provided for you. Your only worry would be if you're not spoilt enough like the two huffing and puffing in front of her. She supposes she was like that at the church, but now that lifestyle is long gone.
Einhard crawls over the wagon and mounts like a frenetic humanoid spider. Once he finds what seems to be the most precarious spot to place his pack he secures it there and then looks around. "I hope Ilmryn and Vrakqrin get here soon. Will the wagon leave without them? Is there some sort of adventurer's code? Should we leave without them? Do we need to track them down? What if they are in trouble or hurt?" Without seeming to draw breath he continues "Oh by Deneir's holy vane. The life of an adventurer is full of questions."
Without a pause to actually let anyone answer his questions the halfling plows forward with his verbal monologue directed at everyone within hearing. Until the last two companions show up he will not desist in listing every possible item they could take with them should a hunt for the wayward party members ensue. Each listing will consist of at least a good reason to take the said item, a good reason to leave the said item, and at minimum four ridiculous ways it has been used in past adventures.
"Goodmorning my friends!" Vrakqrin shouted, "I'm sorry I was quite tired yesterday and I camp at the back didn't notice the time", Vrakqrin looked at everyone.
"It seems that everyone is here! Oh, Ilmryn is still not here yet?, no worries he should be here any minute." Vrakqrin is looking from left and right but failed to find the last companion.
"Hmm, have you had your breakfast yet my dear friends?" Vrakqrin said while motioning his hands on his stomach.
Just as Vrakqrin asked where Ilmryn was, the Drow would coincidentally turn the corner and make his way towards the group, nonchalantly. "Ah good, everyone else seems to be here." He mutters to himself.
"Hello, friends." He said, cheerily, as he got closer. "I take it we'll be ready to make way soon, then?"
Vrakqrin is situated at the back of the wagon. While walking he is smiling to himself.
"We finally set out, It's best to be on high alert" he said.
He is looking from left to right while they are walking, he couldn't help but notice his companions, "are you all alright? This should only be a few days of travel" he smiles at them.
"I hope you all forgive me in advance for my eccentricities that you might see in our travels".
Ilmryn sits against the side of the wall of the wagon, and spends his time observing his traveling companions, more quietly than Vraqrin. They must be capable in their own right, if Gundren recruited them for this. Just means any potential goblin attacks on the way to Phandalin should not prove too perilous. Hopefully. At the very least, Ilmryn was confident in his own ability.
"Oh come now, Vrak. You're not exactly in an otherwise reserved bunch. Eccentricity is the name of the game."
The bustling city does not seem to interest Einhard. Until the wagon leaves the cityscape he keeps up a never-ending tirade of speculation. Once the wagon moves to the wilderness something seems to catch his attention and he seems incredibly focused. Everyone notices this since it is the first time he stopped talking. He clambers up the wagon and sits atop it in a meditative pose and closes his eyes.
Dovarax sits at the back of the wagon, he always found it the most comfortable and always liked to look at the road pass by. He lights it with the tip of his finger and inhales the smoke. He starts rustling through the stuff in his bag just to make sure he has all his gear. He exhales.
“This is a good group” .
He puts the pipe back in his mouth and holds it as he gets lost in his own thought. He hasn’t ever been in a party and that made him kind of nervous. He sakes his head to get rid of those thoughts and happily says.
” Haha! A new adventure is always brings new things good and bad “
Dovarax turns around and with a smile raises his voice saying.
”Ha my friends! This shall be a journey to remember, I shall do my best to aid you in whatever it shall throw at us it being goblins, or Vrakqrins eccentricities.”

Seeing Esther pant, Vrakqrin felt bad, he immediately take what she is stacking and carry on the work for her.
When he finished he offered food to Kildrak, Esther, and Ilmryn.
(Ooc, Vrakqrin will stay here camping till they leave)
