The half orc smiles, “Now, if anyone asks, I beat ye, ‘got a reputation to uphold here. Your fancy friend was only rubbin knees with the Neverember kid - throwin his daddys money around, must think his pa’s still runnin the city ha! They were both in a state when they left my table, almost thought twice about takin’ their dragons. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re dead in a gutter, you don’t walk round here dressed so fancy an’ keep yer coin. Yer tarty friend better watch her back.”
Alden chuckles as the barman turns Rose down, going quiet as he begins on the first of his three drinks at this bar. At first he seems to be bothered by the cheap drink but soon downs it. After all he had worse in the past... Even if it was not by much. "At the rate things are going I am afraid we may be dealing with another bar brawl before long..."
The barman looks at Alden, drinking way too fast. “Hey, hey, better pay up those 12 nibs soldier boy, before you‘re too far gone. Yeah yer lass is getting herself in some fine trouble there.” He gestures over to Aimee and the two men trying to intimidate Kerri over her.
"Don't worry this stuff won't get me drunk." Alden says as he places the exact amount on the bar before finishing his first tankard and grabbing the other two. He then makes his way over towards Aimee. He stops once he is close enough and simply watches.
Dneevar just hangs back, watching the scene unfold. He instinctively reaches into his pocket to grab his coin pouch. “I can take care of that,” he says quickly to the bartender, grabbing the 12 nibs out of his pouch and placing them on the counter. Then he rushes over to Aimee and Kerri to make sure they don’t get into a fight.
Noticing that Alden already paid, he puts the nibs back in the pouch. As he approaches the two men ready to start a bar fight with Aimee, he jingles the pouch in his hand. “You can split this money amongst yourselves — worth about 20 dragons, mind you — if you promise not to hurt them,” he tells the men, pointing to his young half-elf acquaintance and his old friend. (Persuasion: 19)
The tatooed and the pierced man puff out their chests upon seeing Dnee and Alden. “Hey, hey, don’t try and muscle in on our ladies here. Don’t ye know our employers, they’ll have ye, hehehe.”
"I would not worry about me and my dragon born friend here. These women are more then capable of dealing with you." Alden says boredly to the man as he sips at one of the ales he is holding, setting another down on the nearest table so he has a free hand.
Hi As money is dangled in their face, the pair soften. ”See, that’s all we want, a bit of respect.” the scumbags take the money bag, spitting in the floor in front of Alden as they make their way over to Rose and Trani.
Alden sighs as he shakes his head and downs his ale before sitting in a seat and watching the two men. "They are quite lucky that I do not wish to deal with the city guard. If we were in a tavern elsewhere I may have walked their heads into a table for the sheer principle of it."
Dnee sighs. “I know I didn’t, I just didn’t want to have to ram anyone’s heads into a wall. Come on, let’s get out of here before we get into any more trouble.”
The Barman leans in and whispers in Rose’s ear “Now, now, don’t be getting in a tizzy when you don’t get what you want, I’m in it for the long game - it’s no fun if you make it too easy. Play my game, and maybe I’ll play yours. Oh, look - here come some “Pillars” behind you, have fun.”
The vile pair have made their way to the bar and lean on either side of Trani and Rose. “Alright sweethearts, how ‘bout a drink with some newly minted geezers.” They throw a bag of coin down on the bar ”Bartender, where the bloody ‘ell is he, Hey Stu!”
The bar where the scarred man with an eyepatch once stood is empty, but a voice comes from the doorway.“All right lads, Jus’bin changein’ a barrell!” A rotund man with a ginger beard comes out to man the bar ”Jipes, where’d the lotta ye come from? An’ what happened to the new guy, thought he was a goodun’’”
Rose can feel a slight scratching against her skin under her corset as she moves
“No, just passing through,” says Dnee hesitantly. “We were looking for someone named Floon, would you happen to know a man by that name? He... uh... mysteriously disappeared, and I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the Xanathar Guild or something similar.” He steps over towards the counter of the bar, signaling to Trani and Rose that they should probably leave.
Aimee just keeps at her clapping and humming the entire time the pair of arm wrestlers get too friendly and others intervene to rescue her. When she is finally satisfied with her performance she looks at the new person Dnee knows as Lyss comes up and asks if she is alright,
"Yep! Things are great! Those two guys that smell like they have been rolling in something rotten walked away before I could talk to them, looks like they want to talk to Rose! Everything okay with you? Find any Floons?"
"Might know who he was here with, but unless there's more info to pull here, we ought to move one. Red's made herself a target, more time she has to be... herself... the more likely someone's going to follow us and tickle her with a knife.", Lyss mutters aside to Aimee.
She waves to the patron that Aimee introduces her to.

She rattles the dice cup and inverts it over the five dragons, winking at the half orc as she hops down from the chair and walks over to Aimee.
