Ahead of him the hallway continues at the same width. The boggles have barely made it 10ft down it. They stand side by side hobbling along, and are just passing a wooden door on their right with a sign on the front reading “GOLD PRIZE”. Further down there are more similar doors. Further down the hall, two doors face each other, the one on the left is slightly charred. Another slightly stained door lies just ahead of the charred door on the left, and at the very end of the hall is a door leading straight on.
Edvord yell's back over his shoulder, "We've got a few seconds left, they are going to start opening up doors! ... that may be a bit too interesting..."
The mage darts forward and attempts to achieve a position where he is in the threat range of only a single boogle, preferably one with either the thieves tools or bag of loot.

The Boggles are side by side, so it is not possible to only be in range with one. The peppier boggle with the thieves tools yowls “Yowowowowowowowowowowow.” as the crack of thunder erupts from Edvords dagger, piercing it’s back and it’s eardrums. It’s severely wounded companion lashes out as Edvord slips away.

Aldrik rushes next to Edvord, shouting, "Your sword is like a twig, Eddie! Take it once I'm done with it! Zauberjager, great hit on the last one! Show my brother what real blades can do!"
Aldrik makes his attack, then flourishes the blade so that he is holding it by the bade before the crossguard, offering the hilt to Eddie. His other hand is already reaching for his greatsword.
Zauberjaeger unenthusiastically follows Aldrik, slicing the injured Boggle in two before hovering pathetically over it's bloody, oily corpse. The tip of the sword swings downward tapping on the wall as if bored.
Despite his reservations, Edvord's rapier stabs smoothly at the thief's back, it looks severely injured, clutching at it's ears as it looks towards the closest door.
Lyss’s arrow flies over the head of the Boggle. Meanwhile Aimee, unperturbed by the sinister laugh as she pokes through the newspapers suddenly notices it coming to an abrupt end.
Cico races after the others now that there’s more space in the hallway (using full 45’ movement if needed to catch up).
(OOC Not sure if he can actually get into melee if the brothers are still in the way - if he can Cico will use a fist and a foot to attack. If not, just one attack with another dart).
The Boggle dodges Cico’s fists, leaping at the door nearby. As it opens you see a glimpse of a room full of gold before a portal appears in the doorway. Through the portal you see the other three Boggles throwing Kerri’s prize into what looks like a moving pool of magma with faces inside. The Boggle turns laughing at you, it blows a raspberry and leaps through the portal to freedom……
but the only freedom afforded to this creature is the release of death. A thunderous roar erupts from the Boggle, as it’s eardrums burst, spraying grey matter in either direction all over the walls of the hall, Aldrik and Cico. Simultaneously the portal contracts, just as the top of the Boggle’s head has peaked through, slicing a perfect circle off of it’s head. It slumps to the floor in the doorway.
Cico frowns, looking down at the remnants of the boggle clinging to his clothing. He reaches down and flicks a few pieces off before turning back to look at the others.
"That was unpleasant," Cico says as he looks around to retrieve the dart he had thrown then he approaches the closest door, bending down and looking at the lock as if nothing had happened. "This one next?"
Cico examines the door that the boggles had teleported through for traps.
Edvord looks to see if Lyss' thieves tools are laying around anywhere before walking back to Aldrik and grabbing his rapier, "Thanks for holding this for me... father would kill me if those boggles ran off with it. Perhaps we should regroup and discuss the options these doors present... I have not seen Aimee in some time, perhaps she is still trading tongue twisters with the statute?"
Aldrik nods at his brother and gives the man a pat on the shoulder, which surely almost causes Eddie to stagger forward. "Of course, brother! Reinholdts together stand!"He beckons ZJ over. "Well done, but obviously we need more hardy prey for you, my new friend! Perhaps that wisp will betray us, aye?"
If ZJ allows, Aldrik will take ahold of the blade once more.
Back to Edvord, "I feel this has been a bit of a goose chase, though we've at least recovered what we entered with. I don't think Kerri will be able to shove that lute into the mage's unmentionables, though." To Cico, "You planned to lead us to a missed room, yes? Otherwise we should go back to the statue."
Aimee will wander out if someone calls for her, but she did yell informing everyone about the evil laugh and moving statue guy so she is happy to keep messing around.
"Glowy orb guy? You still in here?"

Edvord rushes up the stairs after the boggles. Before committing all of his movement he pauses to look at the scene in front of him.
