You are able to recover the tools from the Boggle you felled in the hallway. The door doesn’t seem to be intentionally trapped, though the stains on the wood give off the stench of acid and sulphur. You get the impression that this door has seen a lot of spillage of volatile chemicals in it’s time.
(You guys haven’t come to a conclusion on going back to the saferoom?)
The door swings open, and a thick heavy fumes billow into Cico’s face. The overpowering chemical smell burns his nostrils. Inside is a small narrow room, lined with workbenches and shelves. Every surface is littered with vials of strange substances, and the walls are stained with scorch marks and thick goo.
It is very clear to Cico that moving into the room carelessly carries a high risk of upsetting the concoctions around. What any of these things are is another matter that may require closer inspection, though one wrong step could be disastrous.
Cico looks back to the others but letting his gaze fix mostly on Lyss and Aimee.
"This room is an explosion waiting to happen," Cico says. "And I do not see any sign of a unicorn figurine. Unless someone has an interest in the potions we should keep moving."
"Understood," Cico says taking Aimee's question seriously. "If we find the unicorn and have to pass back this way to leave the alley, you could throw something inside the room and see what happens."
There are two doors unexplored from this hallway. The one at the end seems to have an image carved into the wood. It seems to be of floating discs, half illuminated by moonlight, and half obscured by smoke. The door opposite the fire pit room has a twisting pattern of what seems to be yellow tiles at its centre.
Cico looks down into the fiery forge-like pit and then over to Aimee.
"You should not nap in here," Cico says. "There may be more boggles about still."
He then turns and goes back out into the hallway, looking at the doorway next to the fiery-pit room.
"Might be quieter in here."
Cico checks the door for traps.

"We can go back to that nice room the glowy orb guy came from too!"

Cico looks quickly at Lyss and Aimee and then back to the clear evidence of explosions.
"Do not touch," he says to the pair.
Cico looks around the room, including up at the ceiling, from the doorway first, looking for signs of immediate danger, beyond that are in the vials.

Aimee pulls her reaching hand back behind her back,
"No! No! Of course not! Don't be silly!"
She shoots a glance at Lyss.
Lyss steps up and takes one of Aimee's in her own. They've found sometimes that works for keeping hands away from trouble.

"Anyone have a preference?" Cico asks, indicating the two doors. "Does anyone need to catch their breath before continuing?"
