Lyss and Aimee are barely able to drag the corpse close to the ooze before getting away. Slowly it envelopes the body, his armour melting away as it consumes him. However, it starts coming closer to the pair, not satiated by it’s meal.
Sneaking ahead, Lyss, not being able to see so well, steps in a few puddles, the splash echoing down the hall. A goblinoid voice calls out to you, “No point trying to sneak in, we know you’re here. Bring ‘em all in, if you play your cards right, the boss might let you live.”
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I can go peek my head around the corner since, you know, I can see pretty good! I will tell you Lyss how many they are and then we can rush them!"
She does exactly like she said sneaking up like Lyss taught her then peeking around to see how many she sees and the layout. She will then brain talk back to Lyss, probably in a loud brain whisper.
Taking a peek into the room, Aimee is able to approach quietly. However, a goblin is keeping watch over the tunnel and there is very little to hide behind.
Threadbare curtains hang on the east wall of a long hall, in the middle of which a muscular half-orc in dingy robes stands with his foot on the chest of a male human with wavy red-blond hair. Fire burns around the orc’s clenched fist, and his victim cries and squirms helplessly beneath him.
Seated on a raised platform to the south is a nightmarish figure wearing black robes. It has large white eyes and rubbery purple skin, with four tentacles encircling its inhuman mouth. It cradles and gently caresses what looks like a disembodied brain with feet.
The goblin snickers as Aimee approaches, an arrow trained on her. “I told you there’s no point, drop yer weapons and kneel before Grum’Shar.”
The half-orc fixes it’s gaze on Aimee, flames reflecting off of his eyes. “I hear you have something for me?”
<Hey, Lyss! There is an half-orc with his hand on fire standing on a guy in here, a brain on legs and a guy with an octopus on his head! Oh and another goblin! They are probably going shoot me!>
While she explains that she pulls out her dagger and drops it then does the same with the weapon she took from the duergar, slowly backing up, and then with a huge smile waves and says,
"Hi! I'm Aimee and I have no idea what you're talking about! Ooooh is that Floon?"
As you approach the entrance to the hall, Grum’shar’s voice booms. “Hold it right there, or this pansy gets it.” The flames on his fist expand in time with his voice. He looks Renaer in the eyes as he coldly barks “Neverember, threw us off with a lookalike I see. But you were foolish enough to follow. We can make this all a lot easier if you tell us where the stone is.”
Renaer stands strong beside you, clutching his Rapier as his eyes flicker around the group, unsure how to respond.
Renaer scoffs at the half-orc, “I honestly have no idea where the stone is, last I heard your lot stole it. If you’ve lost it, maybe you should look closer to home, everybody knows there is no honour among thieves.”
Whispering to Lyss and Aimee, “The stone of Golorr, as I said before, the Zhents thought I knew something about it and now these thugs too. All this trauma for a bit of coin.”
Grum’Shar sneers, “Your tongue is sharp, I’ll be sure to remove it when I’m finished with you.” Adressing Lyss his expression softens, if only a little. “You’ve done well to make it in here, what is this Pansy paying you? We could use somebody with your skills, and we can make it worth your while. I have no use for this one, he’s all yours, in exchange for the little lord.”
Lyss will help out, taking care that they don't get too close to the ooze.

"Wow! Now we should go get Floon!"
She looks to Lyss for confirmation.
"Certainly time to get away from this gross goop!"
Lyss will stealth ahead.

"Spoons. Aimee's in trouble, let's go!"

Aimee looks at Renaer then at Floon(?). Then back to Renaer and shrugs.
"Dunno!"
She then asks,
"Which stone? We just want Floon back!"
"I don't care about any stones, we're here for the pansy!", Lyss pipes up.
She whispers over her shoulder at Renaer, "What stone is he talking about?"
