Killilli’s Dragon Heist

The walls shudder as you hear yet another bang. (Sorry for the delay, been back at work and missed this)

"YES!"

Aimee finds a mirror or big piece of glass and starts breathing on it to steam it up just to watch it almost instantly vanish.

"Well crap! Wait!"

She instead prestidigates the glass very dusty and says,

"Okay Lif! Go ahead and write in the dust on the glass! Give the wall a smack or something when you want me to make the glass dusty again!"

She will take out her parchment, ink and pen to record whatever Lif writes and then will think to ask,

"Hey Lif? Can you write with ink and stuff? If so you can use this, but if you can't or think its just funner to write in the dust you can do that too!"

She will wait excitedly to see if Lif goes with the pen and paper or the ghostly finger and dusty pane of glass option.

In the dust of the glass, the word “Open” appears

"Open? Open what? Open this place up? We can do that! We were going to do that!"

She re-dirties the glass so Lif can add another word.

A smiley face appears on the glass. 

"Lyss! Lif wants us to reopen the place!"

To the wall,

"Hey, Lif? Do you know anything about carpentry? We gotta fix a lot of stuff!"

She re-dirties the glass and waits.

A clattering is heard all over the house and a few moments later, a rusty, bent nail is dropped before Aimee’s lap.

"Great! We'll get some carpenters! You don't happen to have a bunch of money hidden in the house do you Lif? Carpenters and stuff are expensive!"

She looks at the glass for a response.

“No money” the ghost scrawls in the mirror

"Aimee! Does Lif HAVE to stay here, or do they WANT to stay here?"

"Its okay! We'll figure it out! This place will be opened or my name isn't Aimee! Which it is!"

"Ya! What Lyss asked! You want to stay here Lif or do you want to be somewhere else? I like you here but if you want to go you can! I'm not the boss of you!"

She dirties the glass and waits for another answer.

The word “Home” appears in the dusty glass.

"Okay, where is home Lif? This is my home now!"

Repeat process for the dirty glass and then asking,

"And how do we get you there? You know? Like body that needs to be moved there?"

Dirty glass, wait for response.

“My Tavern!“ the glass reads, before books start flying off the shelves and thuds fill the room.

Lyss guards Aimee's back in case any of the books are headed at her.

Aimee is unfazed by the noise but doesn't think books should be thrown around willy-nilly!

"Yep! But I live here now too! So does Lyss and Spark and Kerri! How else are we going to open this place?!"

She looks at the new mess,

"Lif? Can you use your ghost magic to pick stuff up or only throw things down?"

She dirties the glass again if he wants to write rather than show.

“I stay!” The glass reads before shattering in Aimees hands. A few bangs are heard around the house, getting further away before silence returns. 

Kerri watches all of this, "Interesting... perhaps he'd feel better if the tavern was still open?"

"Great! Talk to you later Lif!"

Aimee yells after him.

"I like our ghost! He seems like a good guy!"

"I think he might have been a bit angry at the end there, thinking we were trying to get rid of him?"
