The dusty travelers have just arrived in the village of Oakhurst, four of them leading they way as they follow a tugging from items that call to them. They have traveled from Phandalin, through the ruins of Conyberry, and have now reached the village of Oakhurst.
Oakhurst. Most of its 900 residents (including outlying farms) are human, with a sizable minority of halflings and a scattering of other races.
Significant locations in Oakhurst, and the people to be found within them, include the following:
Village Hall. The center of government in Oakhurst includes the office of Mayor Vurnor Leng, a male human noble.
General Store. The village’s main source for supplies and merchandise is the general store, owned and operated by Kerowyn Hucrele, a female human noble.
Shrine. Advice, information, and healing are among the services dispensed at the village’s shrine. It is maintained by Dem “Corkie” Nackle, a female gnome priest of Pelor.
Jail. Next to the village hall is a stout building where miscreants serve their sentences. Oakhurst’s constable is Felosial, a female half-elf veteran. She commands a force of sixteen guards and four scouts who keep the village safe.
Blacksmith. Repairing and forging arms and armor is the job of the village smithy, Rurik Lutgehr, a male dwarf commoner.
Ol’ Boar Inn. Garon, a male human commoner, is the owner and barkeep of the Ol’ Boar Inn. He serves food and drink, and the place has a few rooms that visitors can rent.
Thenid, Wris, and Leucious sense what is pulling them is in the only inn in town, the Ol’ Boar Inn.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Onu sees the strangers come into the Inn as he moves about the small space, sweeping and cleaning up as he goes. The activity is calibrated to make him disappear, to become part of the scenery instead of a character in the story. From his hiding place in plain sight, he sizes up the newcomers carefully
Insight to get a read on the newcomers - what/who they are and general intentions: 4
Deception if needed: 24
Stealth if needed (not hiding, more blending into the environment so no advantage) 23
Thenid moves with a single mindedness to the Inn. "Something is here...." He touches the gem encrusted comb he has tied under his cloak around his neck...as a reminder of his other mission...
Thenid, Wris, and Leucious all would have their attention pulled to a figure working to blend in with the others. he wears a robe that pulls to Wris. Something in the man's pocket pulls to Leucious. A dagger at his belt pulls to Thenid.
Yuno give a perception or insight check if you wish.
Moril, a human woman greets you as you enter the general store. "What can I help you with today?" The woman asks.
Yuno, you would notice Onu as someone quite different than the others in the place. For starters the robe he wears is quite different, having small patches all over it.
Onu, you don't remember Thenid at all, unless he was the one you received memories of.
Wris, the barkeep shrugs and tells you to feel free to play if you wish.
Moril, the general-store owner leaves you to browse.
Yuno takes a good whiff of the air and mumbles to herself (Don't read unless you're really close to Yuno):
I smell someone trying to blend in.
Onu will notice a woman with brown hair wearing Mithral Plate armor and having a spear and a dagger strapped to her belt staring at him as Thenid approaches him. (Yuno is making no attempt to hide the fact that she's staring at Thenid) She has a menacing aura about her (Passive Intimidation 15. I define Passive intimidation as a menacing aura). Yuno does not take her eyes off Onu and tells the barkeeper, "A bowl of porridge please". Her delicate and soft voice does not match the way she's staring at Onu, almost like some kind of predator.
'Thenid, you say? No, I'm afraid I don't remember you at all. Honestly I don't remember much. Seemed to have gotten quite a knock on the head and woke up not to far from here. '
Onu makes deliberate eye contact with the armored woman exuding an air of menace from across the Inn, and cocks and eyebrow at her 'Have I offended you in someway Mi' Lady? '
'Oh, this? I found in laying near me when I woke up. It feels.....strange.....like it's....not mine. But, I woke up naked and so a warm robe seemed better than nothing at all.'

Moril will head to the General Store

The Inn is definitely where Wris is headed, given the likelihood its the best place in town to find libations and a jovial atmosphere.
Wris will ask Garon, (if he's at the bar) for a drink and what the rate for a room is?
Yuno will head to the inn as well. She's kinda hungry and would like a warm bowl of... porridge.

Does Yuno see or rather in her case, smell him trying to blend in?
"I'm just looking for now." Moril says with a kind smile, not trying to come across as cold or rude.

Wris takes his drunk and asks the bartender if it would be alright if he could play for tips.
Thenid will walk towards the man.
"Hello sir, perhaps you remember me, my name is Thenid."
He will pause waiting for a response...

'Oh, this? I found in laying near me when I woke up. It feels.....strange.....like it's....not mine. But, I woke up naked and so a warm robe seemed better than nothing at all.'
"huh... strange." Yuno comments
'Strange that I prefer a robe to being naked?'
"No... I meant the foreign feeling you claim it gives off."
