He swings his staff around, feeling the power of the earth, even through the ice and water flow through the wood, his hand catching the texture of the mistletoe wrapped around the shaft. Energy ripples along the surface of the staff as Qinfaren continues swinging it at the watery serpent.
Qinfaren swings his enchanted staff at the watery creature. His staff strikes the creature and does moderate damage to the creature's remaining health.
Arogna tries to pull Muharg free from the grasp of the creature. However, she fails in her attempt.

"Excellent, Arogna!" Shad says. His Spiritual Weapon bites again: 23 to hit, for 7 damage.
If Muharg is conscious, Shad casts Toll the Dead (WIS DC 12) for 5 damage. If Muharg is unconscious, Shad will try to move towards him and reach out to cast Spare the Dying.

Shad attacks the creature with his spiritual weapon and manages to cut through its form. He then attacks it with a casting of Toll the Dead, which does further damage. It is looking a lot weaker than at the start of the battle.
Muharg, who is not back up on his feet, swings his battle axe at the creature.
(Attack: 15 Damage: 7)
However, the creature swerves out of his way avoiding the blow.
Now that Muharg has been freed from its grasp, the water serpent tries to attack Qinfaren.
(Attack: 8 Damage: 9)
It wraps itself around Qinfaren and pulls him in to try and drown him.
From above, to fire another arrow at the water creature.
Qinfaren watches Muharg yanked out of the water by Arogna and in that moment the water envelopes the large druid, who barely has time to draw a breath. That breath is almost knocked out of him at the force of the squeeze from the creature
Again he says, "Ductu" as he struggles with the watery serpent, using his strength at the same time to try and break free.
Qinfaren tries to break free of the creature's hold, but cannot find the strength to do so.
However, Arogna does manage to pull Qinfaren free.
Shad's casting of the spell Toll the Dead and Spiritual weapon finish off the creature. It loses its form and collapses in on itself.
"Everyone alright?" Bjorn shouts down from the top of the icy sheet. "I don't think Arlaggath was aware of that creature. We knew it would be dangerous though. That's why we've come to find the missing fishers."

"I am healthy," Shad says, "but the Cat Lord has scampered far from me. I'll need rest to coax them and their blessings back. I can not even heal others right now." He will stare around at the cave and squeeze the water out of one coat at a time.
He is looking for clues to the fishers location: Perception 10 or Survival 19.
Muharg's body, beaten and bloodied, lies limp on the ground, his eyes closed, barely managing to breathe, not reacting to anything around him.
Once the creature is down, Muharg looks at his companions. "I can restore some of your vital energy, Arogna. Qinfaren, how are you doing, lad? Need some healing too?"

Arogna, shaken and very wet, grabs hold of Muharg in turn and tries to pull him out of the serpent. "Hoy! Let go, you... puddle!" she yells.

Shad siccs his Spiritual Weapon on the water spirit: 12 to hit, for 10.
He is already beginning to shiver, cold and wet as he is. He'll try Toll the Dead (WIS DC 12) again for 10 damage if successful.
"Yeah," he says, "get away you drizzle!"

Muharg, who is currently trapped inside the water creature, attempts to break free of the creature's hold.

However, the lack of air is getting him and he cannot find the strength to break free.
The water serpent then attacks Muharg.
(Attack: 22 Damage: 15 bludgeoning damage.)
From upon high, Bjorn attacks again by firing an arrow at the creature

The attack hits but it barely effects the creature.

Qinfaren is about to hit out at the creature again but sees how much trouble Muharg is in.
He touches his own arm with his staff, says "Ductu," and then reaches out and grabs hold of Muharg and pulls as hard as he can to free the paladin.

The icy surface is making it hard for Qinfaren to get firm footing to leverage his pull, but he hopes it caught the watery serpent by surprise.
Arogna also makes a grab for Muharg. "Come on! We can get him out! Come on, Muharg!"

He sends his Spiritual Weapon after the water serpent again: 24 to hit, for 10. "How does it even stay fluid in this weather, the foul thing!"
