"Turn back now as you know if you value your craven lives!" Bán call out in his most intimidating manner, using Thaumaturgy to make his voice boom and echo. "We are no travelers to be trifled with! Come closer and we shall wear your skulls as codpieces!"
Bán considers further spell use in case these creatures do engage but he reckons they are still far enough away that he'd have time to do so before they were atop him. Instead he reaches into his back and pulls out a net or two that he carries and throws them onto the ground about 5 or 10 feet away from himself...

Qinfaren looks at the figures approaching at a run, making special note of the longbows across their backs. He looks over at the others.
"We need to find cover or they're just going to stop when they get in range and pick us off." Qinfaren says.
With the hyena humanoid hunters coming from the north and the west, Qinfaren look to the south for ledges, trees, embankments, or whatnot that could be used as cover to negate the advantage of the longbows.

If he sees something he'll head towards it at a run.
Bán's attempt at intimidation makes him look meek despite using magic. It is also hard to tell if the hyena-like creatures even understand what he is saying. However, the do let out another round of cackles.
Qinfaren spots a ledge to south that is at a 3 foot drop. It should be able to provide half cover for anyone who decides to hide behind it. Qinfaren runs to the ledge.
Bjorn shakes his head, "I'm not sure they even remember they are carrying bows."
He focuses on an empty nearby, the he raises his arm into the air and lowers it. Suddenly, in the space that he has chosen a blue drake appears out of nowhere.
"Blue, be prepared."

The creatures continue to run down the hills, cackling as they do. Their movement is far from elegant, they look more like wild animals charging at their pray.
(Take dash action. They are now 180 ft away.)

“Flee or Die!” Bán Calls out again adding Prestidigitation to the already booming voice effect and causing a shower of sparks to rise into the air and swirl in a vortex…
Meanwhile he is looking around at the area for anything that could provide some cover - a large boulder or tree or such. He doesn’t find the ledge appealing but he doesn’t fully want to stand out in the open… he’s also eyeing the groups, looking for the largest one coming so he knows who he should target first.
Owl, meanwhile, is just trying to position themself if called upon but to otherwise stay out of sight.

It will be several moments before those creatures will get within range of anything Qinfaren can do. For now he will settle in behind the shelf, watching what they do. But while he waits, he pulls out one of the fuzzy balls from the gray bag hanging at his side. He pets the fuzz for a moment before tossing it on to the ground in front of the ledge.
A chubby badger appears near the ledge. Qinfaren smiles at it. For the moment he lets the badger rest there but he sends the weasel out along the snow, dashing to get closer to the advancing hyena-creatures.
The figures see the sparks shooting into the air, stopping in their tracks, and the cackling stops. They look between each other and down at the group. They are suddenly very unsure about their target. However, they fail to lower their weapons.
"I think that display worked," Bjorn says to Bán. However, he raises his longbow and readies an arrow for an attack should they continue to charge.

“Display is all it is,” Bán murmurs to Bjorn. “I’ve no more oomph to it unless they come closer… which I’d prefer they not.”
Bán Does about all he can do, shifts the colors of the shorting sparks a few times and calls out once more with a booming voice “Go! Now! Find easier prey or perish!” Other than that he’s tapped until things get serious…
Qinfaren holds his ground where he is at the moment but he does guide the badger out to join the weasel about 30’ in the direction of the hyena-Hunter creatures.
About how far away are each of the groups of figures?
Initiative if needed: 10
(Bjorn: 15
Hyena figures: 8
They are 300 feet in either direction.)
The figures continue to approach, cackling as they do.
"Yeah," Bjorn says. "I don't think they want to socialise."

The figures let out a cry in a harsh-sounding language that you don't recognise. They then begin charging down the hills with their spears held high.

(Just to be clear… was that their turn?)
(Yeah, they took a dash action.)

(Okay, Kaemgen, you can either roll for advantage on Intimidation with the help of Prestidigitation, or Search for a hiding spot.)

The gnoll take a moment to consider their opponents in front of them. Then the turn tail and runaway back up the hills.
"Well," Bjorn says. "Looks like decided that we were not worth the fight after all. We'd better get out of here before they change their minds again."
