Then the bear successfully manages to scratch Bjorn with his claws. Bjorn lets out a cry of pain as the bear draws blood, and Bjorn is looking worse for wear.

Qinfaren, manages to avoid both strikes from the verbeeg. The roar of the bear from behind causes him to split his attention for a moment before he turns back to the verbeeg.
Again he swipes at the giant with the flame blade but he then also remembers to direct the dire wolf to get involved this time. As Qinfaren attacks high, the dire wolf leaps forward, biting at the legs of the giant.
Action: Flame Blade Attack: 7 Damage: 10 fire damage
Bonus Action: Direct Dire Wolf against the Verbeeg - Pack Tactics give it advantage on attack: Bite Attack: 16 Damage: 6 DC 13 Strength Save or be knocked prone.

“We’re attacking because you come from an untrustworthy race and Ricky thinks your head will help his political aspiratio… Arrrgh!” Bàn starts to explain before being rudely interrupted by the mouth of a bear clamping upon him.
Instinctively Bàn swings a first at the bear and is able to turn it into a spell before he finishes his swing.

After being knocked to the floor, the verbeeg climbs back to his feet. He lets out a roar which must be a war cry, and thrusts his spear at Qinfaren again.
Bjorn focuses on it in response to having his back torn open by the bear. However, at a close distance, firing an arrow would be difficult. Bjorn puts his longbow away and draws his scimitar. As Bjorn swings the scimitar, Blue infuses it with his draconic essence.

Bàn considers just letting the bear leave do as to focus on the bigger threats, but so far the bear was the only one that had wounded him and ge didn’t want it at his back… So he lashed out with his whip again, an Eldritch Blast flying off its tip as it cracks.

Bàn sees the bear back away, but doesn't hesitate to blast a beam of energy at the bear. However, the blast goes wild and sails over the bear's back. Owl then flies back down the tunnel, just behind the ogre.
The verbeeg stands back up again and, frustrated with Qinfaren, thrusts his spear at him twice.
The wrath of the verbeeg is too much for Qinfaren to push to the side, and the two spear strikes cut deeply. He almost buckles and falls to his knees, but he just manages to keep his head up.
As he steadies himself, he says "Sanitatem verbo," in what he thinks of as a whisper but is anything but. The bleeding from the two wounds slows slightly.
Qinfaren then slashes out with the burning scimitar again, hoping to catch the verbeeg this time. As he does, the dire wolf leaps forward to bite at the giant's leg again.

Qinfaren takes a moment to heal himself, but he doesn't give the verbeeg the opportunity. He slashes at the verbeeg with his flame blade cutting deep into his side.
The wolf then lunges at the verbeeg biting him and killing him. The wolf tears into the now lifeless body of the verbeeg as it topples to the floor.
Seeing that the verbeeg is now down and out, Bàn turns to attack the ogre. He blasts the ogre in the chest with his eldrich blast. The ogre grunts from the force of the attack.
Bjorn takes the opportunity to fire another arrow, this time at the ogre. As it flies through the air, Blue infuses it with his essence.

Blue moves closer to the ogre and then attempts to bite him.

Bjorn's scimitar is accurate in its swing and bites into the bear's back. The infused essence leaves some frost on the wound.
Blue gets close to the bear and sinks his teeth into the bear's front leg, also leaving the leg with some frostbite.
The bear is now badly injured and backs away from Bàn, Bjorn and Blue. It whimpers as it moves.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the tunnel, behind the verbeeg, an ogre appears. It roars as it enters the tunnel and throws a javelin at Ricky.

The ogre retaliates by stepping over the fallen verbeeg, and swinging its club at Qinfaren.
