I like that idea Barlow, would make a nice hook for another adventure maybe. In the interest of keeping things moving, I'm going to elect to set up the next area. I'll check in briefly tonight. Got a busy day tomorrow, but I should be back on sometime that afternoon or earlier if I can.
If/when party enters the "zoo":
They see a descending, terraced room (pic is a side view representation). The group enters on the "A" level.
As the side view shows, this large room is terraced around the outside in giant steps of ten foot depth and width. Steps B, C and D are enclosed by magicallv-created glass walls which keep the inhabitants of these terraces confined. For good measure, they have all been charmed and ordered to stay on their levels as long as their glass walls are intact. Steps B and D are filled to the brim with water. The only exits from the room are the doors on levels A and E, so if the party wants to continue onward, they must get safely to the bottom level. The door in the bottom level opens into a corridor which passes under the rest of the room.
Step B is a pool that contains six giant crayfish.
Step C is a dry level with six giant scorpions.
Step D is a wet area with four sea lions.
Step E contains three wing-clipped manticores.
At the far side of E is a door that when entered will take you to Qesnef's quarters.
OOC: Riya was pretty committed to killing him then and there unless directly stopped, but I'll roll with it. Just make sure she gets the chance to later :P Don't have time to post right now but will when I get the chance.
Finding a zoo like this is quite impressive. Such a menagerie of interesting creatures! Still, Kevash didn't have time to "ooo" and "awe" over it. "Hmm I can allow us to walk on the water...perhaps we can run over the water, jump over the dry terrace, land on the second water terrace....and then descend into the Manticore pit....I am unsure of how to circumvent the beasts at the bottom."
"I don't know about crossing water, so I'll leave that to you, Kev," Tell says, looking down over the edge at the giant crustaceans swimming below. "Or maybe our new friend Riya and her fancy water-bendin' can help some of us down? I'm sure between the two of you we can hop, skip and jump our way down to the bottom... and if there's no circumventin' the manticores, I'm more than ready to deal with 'em the old-fashioned way!"
(I have a Transposition ability that lets me swap places with a willing ally. The problem is that I need to teleport down (2 points), transpose with everyone individually (3pts each=15 points), then teleport myself (2 more points) for a total of 19 points from my pool of 27.)

OOC: We could also try the Water Walk idea. It's a ritual for me so I could do for free in about 10 minutes time. I don't think we'd have to worry about the aquatic things as long as we move quick. We'd have to hop over the middle dry terrace, but I don't think it'd be difficult. Either way, the biggest problem is landing in the Manticore pit. I mean, they will probably attack as soon as someone enters the area.
(I thought we had taken a long rest before/after interrogating Sir Bluto? Regardless, I'd rather not spend 2/3 of my points just to get to the bottom of this place. Long-resting after every room is a childish way to play.)

Not to tell the party what to do, but the water walk idea might be the best bet. There's still the ring of flying, if anyone could use that to levitate over the terraces. Fighting just the manticores would be easier than them plus the other creatures.
Kevash ponders for a moment. "Kiellie, you and I can skitter along the wall like spiders. One of us may also use the ring of flying. Let those of us capable move to the ceiling and fire down on the Manticores from above. We can finish them off from there and then descend when they are no longer a threat".
g2g, will check in later. If anyone wants to roll their own initiative or plan to attack one of the manitcores from a distance, you can declare so now if you want.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kevash nods to Kiellie. "Then let us move quickly" With that, the greenscale Druid dashes up the wall and onto the ceiling and prepares to attack the Manticores.
OOC: I'm pretty useless at range (boo I can't smite with my javelins boooo), otherwise I'd offer to take the ring of flying and throw stuff down there, but maybe if Shariel wants to take the ring of flying to get up there with Kevash and Kiellie and fire off a few arrows?
Apologies if this double-posts or something and I can't deal with it immediately, btw—internet's been kind of ornery lately.
I have to let the group know that I just received a job offer today, and I had to take it. Its going to take a lot of time out of my schedule, and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to devote the time to the game that I have been. I hate to leave things unfinished, but this opportunity came out of nowhere and I really needed it. If anyone is willing to pick up where I left off I could send you the module. Really sorry about this, had no idea this was going to happen.

OOC: Hey man, it's no problem for me! I'm happy to hear you got a job you needed. Real life comes first. So congratulations! I hope it goes well. As for anyone else, I'm currently my own campaign if anyone cares to join. It's starting at just lvl 1 and right now I'm running the Sunless Citadel, but I plan to expand out to more adventures if this one goes well.
(Sorry to hear about the campaign, but very glad to hear you caught a good Real Life break! Also to Tell/KPheonix, Shariel has direct line of sight and a longbow. I can take pot shots from where we stand easily. If I really need to, I would draw swords and teleport down since I have some defensive abilities and can take advantage of flanking.)

I'd be happy to volunteer :) do you have a link and/or character stipulations?

Would taking a long rest recharge your points enough to do this?

/ooc I have the cloak that allows to me to move like a spider and I can cast web if that would help at all.
