Take a look at the pinned map in discord. The way to AREA 1-7 is now open. You look upon a short passage leading to a small room with an altar. The altar is a huge stone block, inscribed with more of the round symbols you saw on the door. On it's broad top are a few strange stones. The room smells of foul incense.
Loki, after giving Oliver a pat on the shoulder for a TEAM effort, steps into the room, sword raised. His attention momentarily on the strange stone altar, but moves to the rest of the room, looking for trouble.

Red is itching to try his newfound sneaky-sneaky-stealth skills, but he's currently stuck at the rear of the group. Once the bulk of the group goes in through the door, he'll quickly move to the side of the room and try to blend in with the shadows.
A cultist leaps from the shadows, attacking Loki as he comes into the main room!
Attack: 3 Damage: 4
He completely misses, tripping comically, and impaling himself with his own weapon!
The altar has four glossy black stones carved into perfect egg shapes on top of it. A strange sight indeed. In addition, a brass censer is there, too, warm to the touch and the source of the terrible smell of insense.
Loki simply stares as the cultist charges at him, stepping to the side as the man lunges and falls on his own blade. After a moment of silence, Loki pushes the man's body over with his foot. Not taking the chance, he pulls out his blade and stabs him the chest, neck and face, ensuring that the crazed fanatic is dead.
Once that is done, Loki walks over to the altar, and reaches up for one of the black stones, intrigued.
Wilma walks into the room, stepping over the dead cultist. She starts to draw out the strange stones, and taking notes on them. “Any ideas what those things do?” She asks as she sees someone reaching to grab one.
Hank stays by the door, ready to deal with any other cultists that rush out to attack.
Oliver pushes the altar aside, revealing a secret passage! It's a dark, 3 foot square hole in the wall behind it.

The dark cramped crawlspace is barely 3 feet tall. It is filled with quivering cobwebs covered with little spiders. The crawlspace recedes off into the darkness.

A large rusty blade flashes from the wall, slicing into 4 Red, doing 2 damage! Ouch!
From here, you can either choose to explore 1-11, which appears to be a chute down to 1-14. Or, you can press on down the secret passage to either 1-8, or 1-12.
Oliver looks at the blood leaking from Red and turns to whisper to Dirk. "Our trap checker has a unique way of finding them." Dirk only offers a soft chuckle, patting his meaty hand on Red's shoulder. "Be careful, little one." Oliver nods in agreement with Wilma and Hank. "I think that is a wise idea."

He’ll then limp over to the side of the group, and slink away back into the shadows (Hide in shadows - DC10: 21).

The room into AREA 1-8 is blocked by a stone altar, like in AREA 1-7. You can't budge it from here unless one of you make a DC10 Strength test. Then, you can enter. AREA 1-11, or AREA 1-12 are also viable exits to progress.
